Valeria Berti has inherited from her father the passion for photography. It all started when she was ten years old and got in her hands an analogical Nikon. This passion has grown over time, becoming her job, keeping alive and developing nevertheless love for photography which was driving her from her youngest age. She is also a graphic designer and loves the extreme artisanal care of her photos’ post-production. Her approach to wedding photography is a reportage-based one, as she loves seizing spontaneous situations with a smart and fresh style. “I love to capture the story of your wedding with my heart first of all and then with my camera, to be able to relive it even after many years”, says Valeria. Her photography tells your story in a sincere and elegant way; a story in pictures, which stops the most beautiful memories and emotions of your marriage and your life with photography. Her way of photographing is absolutely natural, spontaneous, emotional and creative. “Photographs are our memory over time when our memories begin to get lost in the passing of time.” She firmly believes in this sentence. Although Padua is her home, she often works in Venice, also covering weddings throughout Italy and internationally. [Padua Wedding Photographer]

I was born in Milan in 1980, my father worked in Associated Press and from the first day of my life I breathed news photography, so obviously when I had to choose which high school to attend I chose photography. After the study I worked for a few years as a printer in a black and white dark room. In 2003, tired of printing photos of others, I quit my job and I started working as an assistant for several photographers. In 2007 I opened my business and I dedicated myself to wedding photography, I immediately tried to offer a service as spontaneous as possible, convinced that over the years the couple will want to find on their album the people to them care, and not pages of portraits of the spouses. For the rest I read a lot of books, I play the electric guitar badly and try to dedicate my time to the important people of my life. [Brescia Wedding Photographer]
I'm a keen observer. I've always been. I remember my mom kept telling me not to stare at people when I was a kid. I don't seem to have listened as I keep staring at people, only now I do it through the viewfinder of my camera. My interest in photography started back in the mid-'80s when I was barely a teenager. I saved for over a year to afford my first camera, which was a Nikon FM2 with a 50mm lens. A fully manual, film camera that I still own to this day and that still takes perfectly good pictures. It was a time when cameras and photographs were both meant to last. Cameras were mostly mechanical machines and photographs were physical prints, created on film and impressed on paper. There was something tangible about taking a picture and pictures, even normal family vacation pictures, were taken to make a statement. I remember leaving for several days with my family and I could take with me 1 or maybe 2 rolls of film. That was 36 or 72 exposures total. So, pressing the shutter was something exciting that came at the end of a thoughtful process, which could take minutes or a split second, but still: taking a picture was making a statement. And if you think about it, these photographs are still around, be it in albums or boxes in the closet. It may be your pictures as a child or the pictures of your parents or grandparents. They are still doing their work of preserving a memory, of passing down to generations information about people who came before us. They are telling us who we are and where we come from. Fast forward a few decades, come digital sensors and smartphones and photography has radically changed, in that cameras seem to only last a few years before going obsolete and pictures are taken by the thousands, very few of which, if any, will ever be printed and stand any chance to be looked at by anyone in 10 years or more. Still, my job is to take photographs of weddings and I like to come from the bygone era of photography that was meant to last when the shutter was pressed to make a statement. That has stuck with me, even if I'm working with digital cameras and the 36 exposures roll has turned into a multi-thousand pictures capacity memory card. My mindset hasn't changed, the excitement of seeing all the elements come together to make the frame I am looking for and pressing the shutter, that hasn't changed either. I'm entering my 10th year as a professional wedding photographer now. It all happened almost by chance, when I was facing decisions about my 15 years long corporate career and my personal life had me rethink my professional path. I was asked to shoot a friend's wedding but I hadn't practiced photography since ages. I learnt photography technique when I was in my teens then put it aside as my hobby is and has always been guitars. So I borrowed a digital camera and took this people's wedding pictures without ever been taught how to shoot a wedding. I just went out there and took pictures of what I saw, without ever giving directions to anyone as I had no idea how things were supposed to be directed. It was documentary wedding photography without me knowing it. Turns out, everybody loved the pictures. I was loving guitars and music so much and hoping to be loved back but as it went, photography loved me more than guitars ever did. I had a talent and the responsibility of making it grow. In the meanwhile, I started my business. I already had the basic techniques down from my younger days, so I studied the work of the masters. Photographers that always appealed to me such as W. Eugene Smith, H. Cartier Bresson, Don Mc Cullin, Elliott Erwitt, Salgado and the more I studied, the more I discovered, the more books I acquired: Alex Webb, Fan Ho, Josef Koudelka, Bruce Gilden, Robert Frank, James Nachtwey among the others. The best way to improve your lexicon is to read books. Likewise for photography, studying the work of the masters on photography books is what develops your own photographic language. What educates your way of looking at things and crafting a picture, to make your statement. To this day, I've shot approximately 300 weddings. Anything from eloping couples and a pair of guests to 200+ people events. No matter how big and fancy or small and simple, it's always about telling the story of my clients through my pictures. It's about putting my photography lexicon to work to craft images that will be true to my clients, to their day, to their vision. They provide the content, I provide the style. Simple as that. [Savona Wedding Photographer]
I'm a photographer, a daddy, and a husband... I used to shoot since I was a child with any kind of camera, analogic machines, compact, 35mm, digital SLR cameras, etc... What interests me is to capture and create. Thanks to my grandfather who gave me the first film camera and given me the opportunity to develop hundreds of photos ... I prefer portraits and storytelling by reportage. My love is "catch the moment" to make beautiful images. I love Photography in all, it is my passion, like for pizza. I love to be a friend during the wedding day, not a "director". A friend that will shoot about your day just with emotions and real moments that will become...memories. No constructions, no fake, just a lovely couple with a beautiful story on a special day. [Syracuse Wedding Photographer]

Francesca Vitulano - Documentary wedding photographer based in Umbria. Hi, I'm Francesca and I'm the female soul of "Framelines" studio. I’ve been photographing weddings professionally since 2012 all over Italy and abroad. With a Bachelor Degree and a Master in Fine Arts, I became interested in photojournalism while studying Set Design. Started with a strong passion, photography became year by year my full-time job. My professional dream was to work in an international and dynamic environment and "Framelines" offered me the chance to work with couples coming from all over the world, to be creative and have the chance to experiment. I really didn't think twice. I have quickly learned the rules of wedding photography and thanks to my sensitive soul I've discovered that my war-horse is to enter completely in intimate with the subject I'm shooting and this allows me to be constantly present documenting the wedding with an unobtrusive vision in order to enhance the raw emotions and the un-posed spontaneous moments. I now photograph between 30-40 weddings a year and I’m lucky enough to be involved in very different ceremonies (Catholic, Civil, Symbolic, Jewish, Indian, Arabic, Orthodox) that give me the chance to enter strictly in contact with different cultures from all over the world. Beside the Italian territory, I also flew over Italy border for capturing destination weddings abroad: In my "photographer passport" you can see few traditional three-days weddings in Morocco, two international marriages in the Netherlands and a Scotland wedding. The best feedback I received is when one of my clients tell me that through my images you can really touch the positive vibes of the wedding day, you can really see people enjoy. That's true because wedding photography is something I authentically love and enjoy doing. Professional Association: - I'm an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), one of the most prestigious photography associations for international weddings. My name is Federico Pannacci, I’m a professional wedding photographer and lifestyle. I really love to fly and live in tuscany with my mate, my daughter and my red cat ( Spritz! ). I never liked my image on the mirror, I never felt my shape as something of photogenic, for these reason I met photography, it was the way to study how to express the shape of the life in the same way my heart and mind felt it. This is the reason why my photography is genuine and natural but contaminated from a dreamy and artistic trend. [Siena Wedding Photographer]
I’m wedding photographer, I live in Italy but I travel often for weddings. Tell me where you’ll be declaring your love, and I’ll be there. I’m looking forward to giving you a photography experience that is filled with creativity, laughter, and romance! I still believe in fairy tales and a true believer that there is nothing better in life than a real love. I love my work and take pictures, I'm grateful to be living my dream! Capturing an image which is unique, tangible, and fills the viewer with a sense of joy is just one of my many goals in working with you. I start making photos about 10 years ago, making the experience in this work with other photographers in Wedding and all kind of events. Since more than 4 years I work by myself! I am based on Lake Maggiore in Italy, but I shoot for Wedding in all Italy and Europe. [Verbano Cusio Ossola Wedding Photographer]
I'm a wedding photographer based in Venice Italy but I work all over Italy and abroad. I've been working in the wedding industry for the past ten years and I love what I do, I love to capture the happiest moments of my client's life and being part of all of that! My style is called "wedding reportage" or "wedding photojournalism" which means that I avoid static poses and I prefer to catch the real moments and even if I'll be with bride and groom for the entire wedding, they won't notice me. This way they can act normally without feeling weird in front of a camera. [Venice Wedding Photographer]
Born in a small village near Cinque Terre, Italy in 1977, I was interested in photography since my youth. I spent a lot of hours in the darkroom viewing my father's pictures. With the passage of time photography became more than a passion, it became my whole life. I work throughout Italy (Siena, Florence, Rome, Venice, Como Lake, Portovenere, Orvieto, Amalfi, Sorrento) and in foreign locations. I continue to develop my skills by attending different workshops and seminars. started taking pictures when I was a child, trying to imitate my father. I liked his old cameras and I was fascinated by the alchemy of the darkroom. With the passage of time, this particular way of interacting with reality has become the passion that today is my job. I like to think that with me there's always that little boy, with his curiosity, his desire to experiment, his wanting to put himself to the test continuously. I began photographing natural landscapes and architecture. Now I love being a wedding photographer. Why? Because marriage is a moment full of emotion and passion. I’d like to reproduce those feelings in my shots: a face, a smile, a tear, a look . I do it in the first place trying to help the couple to face in the best way a moment that, in some ways, can be very difficult. One of the best things about my job is that … today many of these spouses are my friends. 2009 2011 European qualification QEP 2012-2014 recognition of association AGWPJA; 2014 7th ranking wedding photographers association AGWPJA. 2015 2nd ranking wedding photographers association AGWPJA. 2016 1st ranking wedding photographers association AGWPJA 2017 2nd ranking wedding photographers association AGWPJA 2018 1st ranking wedding photographers association AGWPJA [La Spezia Wedding Photographer]
When I was a child, my father, Francesco Armocida, used to bring me to his little dark-room in our home in Brooklyn, where I was born. He was working as an artist and re-toucher for a large advertising agency in New York at the time. He had the great fortune to meet photographers like Avedon and Kertesz, who would shoot and print their photos where he worked. The dark-room was like a rebirth for me. It was a magical feeling to see the images appear slowly. This was my fantastic introduction to photography. We soon moved to Calabria, Italy, where I now live with my wife and children. As a young university student I adored photographing the wonderful aspects of nature. I loved using selective focus and shallow depth of field to create magical atmospheres that reminded me of my father’s paintings. I soon developed a great interest in portrait photography and studied lighting techniques. I took portrait courses and followed many wedding photographers helping them during wedding shootings: then I found out that not only in wedding photography you have to be a good photographer but you really should also have a certain behaviour to achieve a certain kind of photography, the one I was and still seeking for today: capture moments with low photographer ‘interference’. I prefer the documentary style, the one that captures the real, emotional moment. Unlike ‘fixed’ pictures and concocted scenarios, I am aiming to capture genuine life-moments. It is an honour to be part of the WPJA. Not only is it a guideline for B&G, but it is also a tool to help photographers meet couples’ needs. [Reggio Calabria Wedding Photographer]
Photographer and mother of two beautiful children, Leonardo and Emily. I love people and through the lens I try to grasp the essence and uniqueness of each subject. I consider myself very privileged to be able to capture moments in people’s lives and freeze them to last in time. After attending a year's photographic course in London I decided to stay for another 7 years in England, working and experimenting with my camera. I now live in Italy in a small city called Varese where I was born near the beautiful Italian lake district. Since 2008 I have been part of a team of photographers and video makers who help me developing all the time. Even now I am searching and learning! [Varese Wedding Photographer]
I’m Simone, an elopement and wedding photographer based in Tuscany! I was born in Florence and I was fortunate enough to grow up in this city. As a boy, I was fascinated by all the art surrounding me which has influenced my photography. Now I live in a small village in the Tuscan countryside between Florence, Siena, and Arezzo, with my beautiful wife Katherine and my little dog Greta. I think of myself as a dreamer and a traveler, with an introspective and joyful attitude. It is important for me to portray your emotions, that of the guest and various emotions perceived throughout the day together with my sentiments and feelings. What is my goal? My goal is to tell through wedding photography what you feel in those moments, to capture the emotions of both the couple and the guest. I try to give with my photographs something emotional, beyond the simple technique. [Arezzo Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I’m Laura! Or maybe I should say “Hi, I’m a lucky girl” because my work is my greatest passion! I'm an Italian wedding photographer, based in my beloved Tuscany, but I love traveling and having the opportunity to tell the story of your wedding or elopement day wherever you want. I love spontaneity and people who have the courage to express their emotions, so my photographic style is a mix of photojournalistic wedding photography and romantic couple portraits, not posed but natural. I'm available for destination weddings in Italy: Tuscany, Val d'Orcia, Cinque Terre, Amalfi Coast, Venice and wherever you want me to be with you. I have always been, since childhood, deeply attracted to people, intrigued by their actions, their thoughts, and especially by what they feel and express. I went to school with my little Nikon camera, one of the most fitting gift that my parents could do! I filled rolls with faces, situations, emotions … review photos helped me to settle the most beautiful memories. I remember that I tried to photograph the joy, the student spirit, the complicity, friendship, love … and still, today, reviewing those shots, I feel again the same feelings and emotions. In this way, I understand that the photograph has enormous power in the life of each of us. When I grow up, all this turns into a job, I’m a psychologist psychotherapist specializing in the use of photography as a tool of psychological insight. The transition to becoming a wedding photographer was by accident… To tell the stories of the people through images, was the completion and integration of my passions. I love… …Cooking, as the conviviality shared with loved ones …The summer, when I sip a glass of chilled white wine on the beach at sunset …The winter, when the noisy storms contrast with the silence of a book, a sofa, and a plaid …Playing hide and seek with my cat, I swear! …And say what I think even when it can sound inconvenient! I could not live without… …My few but trusted friends …My car …The fear that gives me the courage I think… …The sensibility, the determination, the curiosity, the accord with own emotions, the knowledge, the continuous research to discover and to expose ourselves, can move any mountain! …The Love, the real one, that has nothing to do with our unfulfilled needs, exist …But to live it authentically, first of all, we have to learn loving ourselves! [Florence Wedding Photographer]
The love for reportage photography was born out of passion when I bought my first camera, a Nikon FM10 film in Guatemala, almost twenty years ago. I started photographing a few precious, intense and unrepeatable moments of my travels, from the most remote areas of Himalayan Asia to the most boundless areas of Tierra del Fuego, inextricably sealing my two strongest passions: travel and photographic reportage. My reportage photography was therefore born as a loving language, with the need to give small pieces of a dream, enhance and transmit the emotions that bring people's hearts close together. In reportage photography, the moment reigns everywhere sovereign, as well as in the most important day of the celebration of Love. It is precisely in the instant, which is the shortest imaginable moment, the lapse where a thousand spells occur, and where memories bring amazement and enchantment for a lifetime. For more than ten years I have been capturing the most beautiful moments on the most beautiful day of the couple's life, in Italy and abroad, gathering moments that make that day and one's own life unique. Every wedding deserves to be told through eyes and heart, this is the purpose of my art: to tell the beauty and emotions of your most important day and to make this precious moment eternal. Over the years I have exhibited my works in various exhibitions, and I am reported as a photographer on VOGUE. And now something about my travels: I have explored the world, in lands dotted with faces, landscapes, and silences, where peace and beauty kidnap the heart and nourish emotions. Ladak, Mongolia, Nepal, Cambodia, Patagonia, New Guinea, Myanmar, Guatemala, Namibia, India, Ceylon are just some of the countries where I was given the photographic emotion and I, therefore, shared it time to time as a gift. To those who have come to read these last lines I would like to give a story, a look: imagine you are at dusk, in the garden of one of the countless monasteries of the Ex Burma, or in the plain of the Golden Pagodas, or in any street in the countryside .. you find yourself with your nose up, without realizing it: each person, child or adult has a piece of thread in his hand, and with the skill of movement they float the small kite in the sky. Your gaze now shifts in their gaze. This is absolute sweetness. And this is the indelible memory of the country. [Ravenna Wedding Photographer]
I have the restless mind of those who have dreams and desires hidden among the stars. The first thing I clearly remember is when at the age of 6 I started to draw copying from a Mickey Mouse comic book. From then my entire life has been linked to visual art. I've always been a stubborn person, this has led my life through good and bad decisions until in 2008 I decided to become a photographer. My first passion anyway has always been music, my mother and father are two rock 'n' roll souls who gave me good ears and the chance to express myself with the things I love the most. When I started shooting pictures, I started from music. I've been following local bands, gigs, and festivals for years, I've worked (I still am) in recording studios as photographer/videomaker. There never been a single day without listening at least one song in my life. Little by little I entered into the wedding business, which is my main activity since 2012. I'm a lifetime daydreamer, a romantic soul who still believes in good simple things such an eye-contact, a hug or a moment of silence staring at a warm sunset. I search for the truth hidden in one of those moments, taking pictures for me means capturing a moment between two moments, and giving it to eternity, stopping time. I think to myself as a free astronaut, a cosmonaut who sails aimlessly and relentlessly in the sidereal space of his thoughts and curiosities. I live among the stars. [Naples Wedding Photographer]
I have always loved photography. Maybe that's why after many sacrifices it has also become my job. I studied Physics at the University of Salento in Lecce and after graduation, I did a training internship in Health Physics at the oncological hospital of Lecce, in Puglia. After so many years of study, it is difficult to question what has been created and totally change life and work. I did it. I have been dealing with wedding photography for several years now and I specialize in photographic reportage. I love telling stories: especially when the main topic is love. My base of operations is in Puglia but I work all over the world. [Lecce Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I'm Federica! I was born in Naples in 1987. I have coffee flowing in my veins and a strong Neapolitan soul. I am strongly linked to my land and to my origins, even though I feel I belong to the whole world. I love Asia, Asian peoples, and Buddhism. I love traveling, as soon as I can I prepare my backpack and leave. I am a greedy perennially on a diet, I love white chocolate and pizza, strictly Neapolitan. I love simple things, I like habits and routine, but I am one with headshots. My motto is “let you go“. I am precise, determined and solar. I look tough, actually I’m very sensitive. My colleagues nicknamed me “the sergeant” because when I work I am serious and very strict. I don’t let one pass. Despite this, at every wedding, I am moved. I hide the tears behind the camera, the only place where I feel safe. I abandoned after a 9-year course of study and a specialization in Food Science to live of photography. I love weddings. I love the emotions of the spouses, the unpredictability of people, I love tears, deep looks, intertwined hands, the warmth of families, strong hugs, children who run and get dirty, grandparents who fall asleep. I try to tell every story in a simple, natural and elegant way, as I perceive it and live it. I simply let myself be carried away by emotions and by the day, without directing it or modifying the natural course of events. I like to think that my story will be a memory forever in someone’s life. I love this job because, in reality, for me, it’s not a job and, as someone says: “love your job and you’ll never work a day of your life”. [Naples Wedding Photographer]
Simone Bacci was born in Arezzo in the October of 1975. His first camera is a Kodak Disc 4000 that whilst used during school tours for normal shoots, got Simone interested into photography. With this ‘curiosity’ aside, Simone carried on many international travels on work in the leisure sector. It is during one of these last business journeys that he met a person who relight his curiosity. From curiosity to profession with the main factor being passion. After attending several classes and workshops, most of these focusing on wedding and ceremonies photography, in 2007 he opens his first professional studio. His first jobs are full of enthusiasm but turned off by a formal approach to weddings, with static and posing pictures.Feeling himself embarrassed by being photographed, Simone develops the attitude to feel in the shoes of the couples in front of him during one of their most important day in life. He therefore changes direction, leaving the couples free to do what they prefer, aiming at capturing their emotions in a fully natural manner delivering a reportage oriented approach to weddings. This is how his stories are born. [Arezzo Wedding Photographer]
Federico Fasano is an Italian photographer who has been professionally active for over 15 years, based in Milan. Federico loves weddings and the emotions of that day. He prefers reportage, capturing moments as a movie sequences without any stop during the day. He is a graduate, artist, photographer and musician. [Milan Wedding Photographer]
When, at the age of 18, I entered Angela Merkel’s office to present myself, I couldn’t imagine that this lady would become the most powerful woman in the world one day. Back then, I worked as a photojournalist in Bonn and Berlin, Germany and that I photographed her for an interview. At that time I also had the honor to photograph Bill Clinton, Bono Vox from U2 and many more personalities. At that time it was about the single PHOTO – now it’s about the STORY. Sometime later, at the age of 23, I met Linda. The year after we got married and since then we live happily together, we have a little house in a small town on the sea, less than two kilometers from the pub where we met the first time. We have two adorable daughters, Emma is 11, Lena is 6 and life has been very good to me. One day, a friend of mine asked me to photograph his brother’s wedding. That was the moment when I discovered what I would do with love and passion over the next years. Every weekend I’m traveling not only Liguria and Tuscany but all Italy, Europe, and the world capturing much more than just the exchange of the rings or a signature under the register. It’s about the story of a day that is truly unique in life. How often does it happen that you invite friends and families, some see each other again after many years, to celebrate a big party together? It’s the uniqueness and the joy of that day that has always touched me. I remember the first time when Emma opened our wedding album. I was observing her while she was browsing the spreads and I realized the value these photographs will have one day. That big day often is the beginning of a life together, a time capsule which you will look at all the time with joy and pride. This value is priceless. I’d like to talk to you about your wedding. After my personal experience as a bride, telling in pictures about this wonderful moment in the life of a couple who believes in love, mutual trust, and complicity has become my personal "mission". So I ventured into this difficult and complex world, but I immediately understood that wedding photography is an artistically vast, complete and always stimulating field. I admit that I love marriages so much because they bring out the best in people, they are rich with various emotions and the surprise is always around the corner. For this reason, above all, I love the authenticity of moments because magic happens just when you are simply yourself, together with the most important people in your life: real moments that come to life in a completely natural way. People who love me think that I'm cheerful, ironic, genuine and sincere. It's vital for me to spend my free time with the people I love, chat with friends about everything and anything until the most unlikely hours; I love the warm colours of nature in autumn and the summer light; my favourite colour is blue in all its shades. I am passionate about films and TV series that, in addition to entertaining and telling beautiful stories, can teach a lot about photography. Even if I don't have a favourite genre, I listen to a lot of music, a passion that is part of me since I can remember. [Trieste Wedding Photographer]
I’m a Tuscany wedding photographer based in Siena, but I work in all of Italy for weddings. I have taken photos for weddings in Siena, Florence, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Milano, Como Lake, Rome, in the Chianti hills, in Val D’Orcia, and in many other beautiful italian locations. I have a reportage style in which a discrete approach, attention to details and spontaneity are the main ingredients. I always have this objective: to create a story through photos, a photo narration as faithful and natural as possible. That’s why from the beginning, I try to establish starting with the first contact with the future bride and groom, a rapport or feeling of confidence to create a tranquil and relaxed atmosphere that permits me to give life to natural and spontaneous photos full of meaning and sentiment. I was born in Siena in 1977. I graduated with a degree in political science and I obtained a doctorate in the history of European political parties. After working several years at the University of Siena, various events and my passion for photography led me to the decision to become a professional photographer. Shortly after starting my career as an exclusive Tuscany wedding photographer, I was fortunate enough to gain experience in the art world. I published for the magazines Play Boy Italy and Art Tribune and showed my photos at exhibitions at various art galleries ( Wikiarte, Magazzini del Sale). After the birth of my first daughter ( Maria Ludovica) my main focus became to be a Siena Wedding Photographer, a exclusive Tuscany wedding photographer and everywhere in Italy. I know every angle of my marvelous region: Siena, Florence, Arezzo and all of the beautiful villages and towns. San Gimignano, Chianti hills, Val d’Orcia and the Crete senesi hold no secrets for me. Other than wedding photography, I also teach at “ Studiumfotografia”, a school I created, where I advise many up and coming photographers. After the birth of my second daughter (Maria Luce), the University of Siena gave me the honor of the position of visiting lecturer of digital communications in photography. When I’m not working (rarely) I dedicate myself to my passions: naturally Ludi and Luce, but I also love watching movies, reading and I cannot live without music! Contact me for your Exclusive Tuscany wedding photographer. [Siena Wedding Photographer]
I was born in 1984 in Italy and in particular in a very beautiful area of Lombardy between Lake Maggiore, Lake Como and the splendid mountains that frame it. In high school, I decided to attend advertising graphics and at this juncture, I discovered "photography" when at the age of 18 I got my diploma I decided that I would look for a job only in this field that had fascinated me so much in school desks. I was lucky, my first job in a photographic studio introduced me to those who eventually became my partners in WeddingStudio, an adventure that we started in 2012, born of a common passion for wedding photography. Since then I am happy, it is really true what they say "if you like your job you will never work a day in your life"; telling emotions for me is a joy and seeing the satisfaction in the eyes of my clients at the delivery of work pure happiness. [Milan Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I’m Stefano Ferrier, sole photographer based in Milano, Italy. I work in Italy, Europe and worldwide. I’ve started my photography career in 2010, after various vicissitudes I went on to learn my studies in Photography from the Italian Institute of Photography, since 2000 to present a school leader in the field of vocational training in Italy. The studies about story of photography were for me a discovery on what had happened since 1839 up today; then I laid down the basics for my vocational path, a path that never ends since there are always new things to learn. There's also a lesson in every Wedding story. My beloved style is photojournalism, I love spontaneous and evocative emotions, sometimes i try to convert these moments in a creative beautiful way to capture things differently, I always challenge myself. Art has an advantage over the observed reality, has the power to transform it and surpass it. [Milan Wedding Photographer]
I’m a Rome Wedding Photographer and I “stole” memories of worldwide couples since 12 years. Layered by reportage photography, travel and surf, I started shooting my friends-scape weddings to have the chance to pay my outdoor adventures and my degree at European Institute of Design. Over the years I collected experiences in different fields of photography, very precious for my professional growth. In the meantime I founded “Framelines” , Rome based photography studio, and documenting weddings around Italy and abroad became my full time profession. Constantly in touch with a multicultural environment and having the opportunity to discover amazing venues, I consider myself a privileged witness. That's why I deeply love my job. [Rome Wedding Photographer]
I was born in Trieste, where I have always lived apart from some time in various Italian cities, but worshiping the sea and the climate of our city, my heart has always brought me back here. And that's where I met Lisa, many years ago. Then one day I asked for her hand ... and since then we share everything, even cameras. I followed Lisa in this project of hers and I believed in her from the beginning, also because I was lucky to have a photographer dad who taught me to love photography in all its forms and made me realize how important it is. Precisely for this reason, I wanted to put body and soul, together with Lisa, in this work; for me it is great to meet new people, living with them the emotions during the wedding day and tell the story through the images. I am a great lover of technology, cinema, film, and TV series: I would spend whole days looking at them without interruption and I always find inspiration for work. In my free time, I love being in the company of our family, chatting with friends even late and spending nice evenings with them filling our bellies with good food, at home or in some restaurant. I love traveling, visiting new places, experimenting with new things and tasting typical foods of the place: work permitting I would be perpetually traveling; from America to Oceania, from South Africa to Iceland, my dream is to be able to visit at least a small piece of every continent. [Trieste Wedding Photographer]
My photographic journey began 14 years ago when I found a job at a photo lab. I lived the transition from analog to digital, between old 35mm Ilford films and SD memory cards. I studied at the Italian Institute of Photography in Milan and fell in love with reportage photography, using it later in wedding and elopement photography, transforming my passion into a profession. Today, photography has become an essential part of my life. [Latina Wedding Photographer]
I was born in Budapest in 1986, I moved to Italy, in Rome in 2009. My husband and I opened our photo studio in 2014. Photography has started to become a job, not a hobby anymore, marriages have become our second home, at the beginning, I accompanied my husband as a second photographer, and in those moments I learned a great deal not only about the technical aspect but also about the human aspect, in managing time and day. I prefer a reportage-style. In recent years at my weddings, I prefer to follow the married couple discreetly in order to be able to capture at best every emotion and all the memories that will remain with them forever. [Orvieto Wedding Photographer]
You could describe Marco's photojournalistic style with so many words. You could say that his photographs are spontaneous, naturals, that can arouse emotions, to seize the moments, of tell on details the whole day marriage, of relive the atmosphere of those moments, but it would be better look the images and summarize his mode of interpret the wedding photography with his favorite phrase: 'My style for your wedding!'. [Siena Wedding Photographer]
I deal with documentary reportage photography since more than ten years. I have studied with Major Italian and international reportage photographers, in Italy and abroad. I graduated at the School of Photojournalism of ISFCI in Rome. The passion for photography and for story-telling is literally sweeping me away. My way of shooting has been influenced by study and admiration of the work of the Masters of Photojournalism, the American street photography and the contemporary Italian and English excellences in wedding documentary photography. I feel honored to offer my passion for photography, for story-telling and for life in general to those want to witness their wedding in an authentic and emotional way. [Rome Wedding Photographer]
I was born in 1970 in a lovely place close to Lake Como and Lake Maggiore, beautiful lakes of Northern Italy. Since I was a little boy I have been fascinated by “photography” and it is now twenty years that I have been working in this field. In the last fifteen years I have been working as a photographer, especially for weddings. In 2012, in Milan, I set up “WeddingStudio” together with other colleagues. I take photos of wedding days giving a “ photo journalistic” cut to my pictures. That is why I define myself as a “modern storyteller”. Telling stories and touching people through my pictures: that is what I love to do. That is my job and my passion. And when there is passion in what you do, you see the difference! I like thinking and telling about your wedding in a different way: the newlyweds have to live and enjoy every moment of that day and share every moment with their loved ones. That is why I like to become “invisible” and catch details, shades, glances, moods and going on gestures. My job is a wonderful job and every time that one of my pictures can stir up emotions or recollections in people looking at it I think that considering it as “wonderful” is still not enough... Hello Everyone! I have been shooting weddings and elopements for 6 years. When I first attended a wedding as a second shooter, I understood that its my dream job. Its always a new adventure and every wedding day is full of surprises. I don't know when is the light come my bride, and make her shine. So I push myself to get different and creative photos every time. I have a documentary style because I want to be the third eye of my bride and groom. My purpose is to give them special moments of their biggest day. There is no chance to go back, so its very important for me to show all the emotions. I really believe that everybody should have meaningful photos of their wedding day to remember even years later. My job is my soul mate. Every morning of a photo shooting, when I wake up to the sun, I am covered with the feeling of joy. I love traveling the world and destination weddings very much. Learning new cultures excites me always. [Istanbul Wedding Photographer]
I started shooting weddings in 2010, it was the beginning of my new documentary vision and wedding's reportages. It was for me as a revelation! Indeed, we can shoot weddings and document what's really happening during the whole day from the preparation to the dance floor. I love traveling and discovering different places. I shoot all around the world for my personal work with a medium format film camera (Bhutan, Oman, Nepal, Guatemala, Morocco, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, India, Indonesia and many other countries in Europe). Creating, discovering and meeting new people is very important to me. My approach is humanistic and passionate, that's why wedding documentary makes sense for me. [Lyon Wedding Photographer]
I grew up in Lyon, I studied in Paris, I worked in London ... And now I live here: in Maine-et-Loire, on the edge of the Loire Atlantique, between a large river and a small river, between fields and vineyards, a land of adoption that feeds my eyes with incredible lights and mysterious mists. Before becoming a photographer, I was a cabinetmaker. But splinters and sanding hours got the better of my patience ... and then I wanted to get out of the studio, discover the world and people. For that, a camera is an extraordinary tool! When I do not photograph weddings, I do family reports, portraits of adults, children, toddlers, landscapes, bodies ... I practice and I photograph dance. The movement fascinates me. [Loire-Atlantique Wedding Photographer]
My name is Tsvetelina Deliyska and I was born in 1983 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2002 I graduated from the National School of Art and Photography, specializing in fine arts photography. While studying I began practicing as a freelance wedding photographer. I shot my first film wedding in 2000. The only memory I have of that day is that unexpectedly I was paid for the job well done! In 2007 I met my future husband, Peter, with whom we formed together one of the leading studios for artistic wedding photography in Bulgaria. I constantly develop and improve my skills and knowledge in the field of photography by visiting and organizing a number of international schools and seminars for wedding photographers, my photographs have been awarded in international competitions, I have participated in several exhibitions, the last one independent. I am a lucky person because my job is also my hobby. I am experiencing every moment with the couples standing in front of my lens, crying and laughing with them, and enjoying to make them happy. I like to tell stories that do not need words! [Sofia Wedding Photographer]
When I received a photography course from my great love, I didn't know how great that gift actually was. It taught me to look, I see with different eyes and my smile is wider than any camera can be. Being part of human lives, being allowed to watch love and comfort. It's like photographing from the air, it makes you float with pride. The love for photography started with that gift, then my interest expanded to the field of wedding photography with a traineeship at Eppel Photography. Making those special photos for you is what makes me excited! [Gelderland Wedding Photographer]
My name is Emil and I am a professional documentary wedding photographer. Currently based in Wolverhampton where I live with my wife and 3 children, but I photograph weddings and elopements all over the UK and abroad. My photography style is pure documentary (also referred to as candid, natural or reportage wedding photography) with no direction/interference as I firmly believe that your wedding day belongs to you and your family and photographer should not interfere with it. I will never ask anyone to stop, smile and look at the camera. Documenting weddings from different cultures - including Sikh Weddings, Muslim wedding ceremonies, Hindu weddings, and traditional European church wedding is something that I really enjoy. I am Polish/Canadian with over 25 years of experience, including reportage work for newspapers in Canada and Poland. Covered destination weddings and events in Canada, Poland, France, Spain Italy, and the UK. [Wolverhampton Wedding Photographer]
Ray Anthony Iavasile is the owner of Ray Anthony Photography in Birmingham, Michigan. He began photographing weddings in Los Angeles, California in 1992, but his love and passion for his documentary style of photographing weddings began clicking for him in the early 2000s when he traded in his Bronica medium format cameras for faster Canon 35mm SLR's. The change opened the door to shoot a lot more candid-style photos than ever before. This ignited a passion in him to redirect his focus entirely to photographing weddings from beginning to end as a documentary style wedding photographer, or as a wedding photojournalist. By 2004, with the acquisition of his first professional digital camera, there was no turning back. He began developing an authentic style of capturing the "decisive moment" and has since become an expert at documenting the unfolding story of the couple's wedding day. For the last four years running with WPJA, Ray has ranked as one of the Top 150 wedding photojournalists in the world, once in the Top 100 and twice ranking in the Top 50. In 2019, Ray's success has seen him climb to the #7 wedding photojournalist in North America, and #28 in the world. When Ray is commissioned to photograph a wedding, he truly believes it’s his job to photograph the “complete story” of that day! He is so sincere with this idea, that he even provides "unlimited coverage" on the wedding day, photographing from the early morning until the end of the night! Ray doesn’t want to miss a single moment! Ray Anthony Iavasile earned his BA Degree at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. The Ray Anthony Photography showroom has been located in Birmingham, Michigan since 2005 and Ray has become the premier wedding photojournalist in all of Michigan. Though most of his weddings are photographed in the Metro Detroit area, he has photographed weddings extensively in California as well as Florida, Boston, New York, Chicago, and Las Vegas. Ray is always willing to travel to destinations around the world. He is also an underwater photographer and would love to photograph a wedding under the sea! [Detroit Wedding Photographer]
William started out as a freelance wedding photographer in 2009. Very soon a documentary approach emerged and gave meaning to his work. Covering weddings like a photojournalist allowed him to develop a personal style. For him, this approach is the best way to document all the details of the day in a genuine and original way. Because a wedding is a totality. It is not limited to an exchange of wedding rings, or to the first waltz. It is the sum of many moments, both significant and trivial. His work has received several international awards (more than 200), including the global title of «Photographer of the year» by the WPJA. He has also lectured on his approach to wedding photography around the world (Moscow, Mexico, Johannesburg, Delhi, ...). [Montpellier Wedding Photographer]
Welcome to Catching the Moments Photography. My name is Lukas. I describe my style in three words I would say natural, relaxed and unobtrusive. Candid moments, real emotions and reactions, tiny details you've planned for months, atmosphere, love, laughter and tears. I aim to record your wedding day as it happens, without posing or arranging anything, and most importantly without getting in your way. I believe every wedding is unique and should be treated that way. The thing is, the photos are about the day, not the other way around. Your wedding day, without directing or influencing the events. I won’t boss you around lining up for endless group shots. Instead, I will let you enjoy your wedding day with your friends and family. I won’t get in the way or tell you what to do. Instead, I will discreetly accompany you throughout the day. If that sounds like something you’re after, then you’ve come to the right place. COVERING WEDDINGS THROUGHOUT THE UK AND ABROAD Each year I shoot weddings all over Scotland and the rest of the UK, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, St Andrews, Aberdeen, the North of England and London, to name just a few. I'm also available for destination weddings. [Edinburgh Wedding Photographer]
I'm a wedding photographer, moment junkie and friendly person. i'm addicted to real smiles, happy tears and all the moments that makes a wedding day such a wonderful carousel. Wedding photography it's not my job, it's my choice, my playground and would not trade it for anything. [Bucharest Wedding Photographer]
As a teenager I enjoyed creating memories in a different, natural and original way. My dream and my hope was to become one of the best wedding photographers in the world. I still did not know how to get it, but I was very clear that I did not want to be a photographer of the bunch. I enjoy photographing people, telling their stories and getting the best out of them. This is where I can further promote the documentary side of this profession. I'm based in Spain and shoot weddings around the whole world. [Madrid Wedding Photographer]
Passioned about life, photography, traveling and love. He believes that as a wedding photographer, he has the most honourable job on the world and he is very proud of it. His work allows him to engage to the couple and their family on the very important day of their journey. The story it is happening before his camera and he is there, ready to take immortal memories from different perspectives and angles capturing the most precious moments. He memorizes the wedding in journalistic style with a touch of creativity. [Ljubljana Wedding Photographer]
My name is Ivelina and I can say photography is my passion! For nine years now I am a freelance photographer. Each and every one of these 9 years I continued upgrading - I would participate in a masterclass of some of my favourite photographers, simply for inspiration and to improve. In 2017 I realized an independent exhibition with 36 female portraits. But I also have separate participation in other exhibitions. Memories engage our emotions! Things we lived through, our background, is what remains in our hearts. But our memory is fragile and it is photography that makes the blurred memories bright. It makes it possible for us to remember those moments that make our life unique. Personally, for me, photography is both love and art, combined in one. The ability to see the good in every person and situation and show it in the best way possible. I experience moments in every wedding as a unique and such a special day, because I realize this is going to be the only time that all these people come together at this place, at the same time, looking for the relations between them, all those strong and deep emotions, smiling faces, the love and tears of happiness. And I love being there to capture it all! [Sofia Wedding Photographer]
Wedding documentary photographer, Storyteller. I have always lived in the heart of Savoie, in the Alps between lake and mountain. I love living here, but the trip is for me an artistic outlet, as soon as I can, alone or with my family, I wander in various adventures around the planet nearby or very far from home. I already had several lives of a photographer: in the specialized press, companies, events, dynamic local advertising. All these experiences gained and success allows me today to be responsive and creative with a global vision of the scenes taking shape in front of me. Photography allows me to have this freedom, to work where I ask, without constraint. 33 years old, a small family that was built around me in my photographic adventures started in 2003 while the film was still a standard and the digital a novelty. Passionate about photography since I was young, the first camera I held was my father's. Being a photographer is, for me, obvious every day, for more than 10 years as a professional. [Savoie Wedding Photographer]
I am Mihai, professional wedding photographer since 2011. I love shooting authentic images, candid shots that capture real moments as they occur naturally throughout the day. These images are my main focus when shooting weddings. And I strongly believe they are the most important and the most relevant images from a wedding. I will never stage or alter anything during the wedding day. I also try and be as unintrusive as possible. Although I'm not “a fly on the wall” - I tend to stay in the middle of the action, working close to people with my wide angle lens. [Bucharest Wedding Photographer]
Paulo Castro began his photographic journey in 2003. It all began as a hobby. In "the National Park of Peneda-Gerês," where his first pictures were taken, he learned to watch the light and understand the photographic technique. He devoted himself to photography of nature and portrait, having stood out in “specialist” magazines and on online sites. Later, between 2005 and 2010, other work was done in other several areas, especially in extreme sports and reporting in nightclubs. In 2010, he conducts his own project, to a momentous register and of memory and also begins to dream of the possibility of becoming a full-time photographer. With the birth of my daughter, Inês Castro in 2013, my greatest dream had come true. Since then my daughter has been the source of my inspiration in my professional career. Every moment is captured naturally and through it, I tell a story of reality. The photograph is what remains to later be remembered. I photograph for passion!!! [Braga Wedding Photographer]
I have been taking photographs for most of my life. I have a passion for capturing what is happening around me, with no intervention or interruption, and I love a good wedding. I've been a full-time wedding photographer since 2006 and have been fortunate to attend many hundreds of weddings in every corner, and almost every county, of the UK. My work has been recognised repeatedly by the WPJA and other organisations, and I have one of the largest running totals of award-winning images in the UK. I like to immerse myself in your wedding, there from the preparations until the party is in full swing, and all I ask is that you and your guests forget about the photography and enjoy the day to the fullest. Your reward will be a thorough record of the events and emotions of the whole day. The REAL story of your wedding. Based in Derbyshire with my wife and two kids, I shoot weddings all over the UK and worldwide. [Derbyshire Wedding Photographer]
Heeeere’s Jonny! Ok, I’ll spare you all those gags (hilarious the first fifty times, afterward not so much) and get right to it. If you’re planning the biggest party of your life right now and want a documentary wedding photographer to capture all the cray in a way that’s honest and fuss-free then welcome to my humble little profile. I'm guessing you want to know who this random and curiously handsome (ahem) man pitching to photograph your wedding is. Of course, you do! I would as well. After all, I want to spend one of the biggest days of your life with you so it’s important to know that we’ll get along. It makes my job a lot more fun and the photography just that bit more awesome. So, in a nutshell, I’m a documentary wedding photographer based in Gloucestershire, the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds. I travel all over the UK and beyond to capture wedding celebrations in my alternative, photojournalistic style. That’s me in the picture looking all arty. Out of shot is my wife Rosa pulling faces with our baby daughter whilst our crazy basset hound chases its own tail. This is totally a cliche but I genuinely love what I do. I'm so lucky this has been my full-time job for over three years now but I’ve been taking photos for far longer. I studied Image Production at college (which seems like a LOOONG time ago now) and that’s where it all started. I like to travel to far-flung corners of the earth and plan adventures. I’ve ridden a bike the length of Vietnam, climbed mountains in the Himalayas, sought out the Northern Lights and travelled Europe extensively in a campervan. I once ran 54 miles in one day, Forest Gump style. My adventure-seeking has slowed down a smidgen since my daughter came along but I still love to plan little getaways with the family. When it comes to shooting weddings it's all about natural story-telling images. This for me is all about capturing the emotions and energy of the day without staging anything, posing anyone, setting up moments or shouting directions. Don’t fret- I still shoot all the beautiful details, parents still get that must-have family photo for their mantlepiece, and if you create some time alone with your partner I can capture the two of you together, loved-up and freshly married! While I do appreciate the wealth of outstanding talent in the wedding photography world, I try not to obsess over my contemporaries too much. I feel it can become counter-productive in searching for my own voice. Instead, I tend to feel inspired by other genres: travel and street photography, for example. And I draw a lot of inspo from the place where I live; Gloucestershire countryside is gorgeous darling, even if the phone signal can be a bit rubbish. With the fear of waffling on for too long here’s my quick-fire top reasons why I could be the right photographer for you: 1. I’m the real thing. What I mean here is, recently, you may have noticed a trend for my style of photography. Words like “photojournalism” and “reportage” are getting chucked around like confetti. But I’m a pose-free, cheese-free zone and promise to offer you docu-style photography in its purest form. 2. I’m no-nonsense. I know that this is your day, not mine. You won’t catch me shouting at guests to “Smile!” or arranging people. You’ll barely know I’m there. 3. I’m a great guy. All my mates say so. Well, some of them. But seriously, I’ll blend in and mix with your guests in a friendly, engaging way. I won’t be hiding in bushes paparazzi style. Getting up close and in the middle of all the action is how I get my best images. 4. I don’t want to miss a thing. As a wedding photographer, I want to be there for the wedding in its entirety. I offer unlimited coverage, that way I get to stay for the party! During the day my main focus is people (I love people), but I’ll make sure I get all those intricate little details too. 5. I’m not allergic to group photos. I won't shy away from these, I’m always happy to fit a few in. I do them in my own way and always inject a bit of fun. I’d recommend doing only a handful (you gotta get back to that party, after all) but I know how important it is to get a few family ones. After all, we need to keep Mum happy. So, if you appreciate photography and are passionate about your wedding images, let's collaborate to create something truly great. Get in touch AS SOON AS POSSIBLE because, like all good snappers, I get booked up pretty sharpish especially for those summer months. I can only shoot around 35 weddings a year (I’m told I do need to actually see my wife and child occasionally) plus each wedding needs my full attention so I’m careful not to overbook myself. I can’t work with everyone who enquires (I wish I could) but if you think your wedding and my creative documentary approach would be an unbeatable combo then contact me and we’ll start talking. [Gloucestershire Wedding Photographer]
I'm a Devon based multi-award-winning photographer shooting wherever needed for the right couple. If what I do suits you I can be there if you want me. My approach is people-centric - the wedding is all about the people, and the celebration for me. At the end of the day, my intention is to create a record for you, a description of what the day felt like from the inside. The pictures should be a reflection of who you are so that when you (or your kids in years to come) look at them you see yourself at your wedding, not some cutout couple at a generic wedding that looks like something straight out of a bridal blog. [Devon Wedding Photographer]
My career as a working photographer began when I was a journalist. It often occurred that I would abandon the pen in favour of the camera, in order to adequately express my need to tell stories through images. In fact, this approach led me to focus on the subject of photo reporting as I completed specialized studies in photojournalism. Avant Garde Studio came into existence as a natural result of my learning process. I love doing weddings. I love working with couples in love!!!! I actually feel very privileged to capture all those precious moments during a wedding day, while enjoying the freedom of expression and creativity that I experience through photography. [Montreal Wedding Photographer]
I was born in 1982, Bursa. Because of my father's interest in photography, I grew up reading photo magazines and playing with twin lens machines. I was interested in photography as a hobby. First I decided to open my own business by saying textiles and then furniture photography. Now I'm one of those lucky people who love to do their job. [Istanbul Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I'm Pedro, a Wedding Photographer. My style has been sculpted through books, movies and the vision of works by other great documentary artists, as well as masters of painting. My interest in photography comes since I was a child, but professionally I have been dedicated to it for two years, other interests in addition to wedding photography are social photography and portrait. Coming from a creative family I started drawing at a very early age. Now I freeze unique moments with my camera instead of a pencil. What I love most as a wedding photographer, is to be able to capture all these emotions and moments during a wedding day. A smile, a kiss, a tear...all these little things makes me feel very privileged to be there and create all these images that will last forever. I love meeting all these new couples, there families and friends and the interactions between them. No wedding day is the same! [Antwerpen Wedding Photographer]

Thank you Maurizio for capturing our wedding day.
