21 Documentary Wedding Photographers...
I deal with documentary reportage photography since more than ten years. I have studied with Major Italian and international reportage photographers, in Italy and abroad. I graduated at the School of Photojournalism of ISFCI in Rome. The passion for photography and for story-telling is literally sweeping me away. My way of shooting has been influenced by study and admiration of the work of the Masters of Photojournalism, the American street photography and the contemporary Italian and English excellences in wedding documentary photography. I feel honored to offer my passion for photography, for story-telling and for life in general to those want to witness their wedding in an authentic and emotional way. [Rome Wedding Photographer]
I’m a Rome Wedding Photographer and I “stole” memories of worldwide couples since 12 years. Layered by reportage photography, travel and surf, I started shooting my friends-scape weddings to have the chance to pay my outdoor adventures and my degree at European Institute of Design. Over the years I collected experiences in different fields of photography, very precious for my professional growth. In the meantime I founded “Framelines” , Rome based photography studio, and documenting weddings around Italy and abroad became my full time profession. Constantly in touch with a multicultural environment and having the opportunity to discover amazing venues, I consider myself a privileged witness. That's why I deeply love my job. My photographic journey began 14 years ago when I found a job at a photo lab. I lived the transition from analog to digital, between old 35mm Ilford films and SD memory cards. I studied at the Italian Institute of Photography in Milan and fell in love with reportage photography, using it later in wedding and elopement photography, transforming my passion into a profession. Today, photography has become an essential part of my life. [Latina Wedding Photographer]
Stefano Snaidero was born in Venice in 1979. His passion for photography develops following the footsteps of the great reporters Studia Reportage obtaining a Masters in Photojournalism at the Superior Institute of Photography in Rome and immediately starts working with the most important newspapers and national weeklies. From 2004 to 2008 he was photographer of the most important Italian photojournal agencies, creating exclusive services for Ansa, Contrasto, Grazia Neri and Prospekt. In the years 2006-2007 he was assistant photographer Mimmo Jodice with whom he worked for the realization of the book "Rome" published by Johan & Levi. In the world of photography and video ceremonies he has been working since 2003 with field training with the most important photographic studios in Rome where he refines a technique that combines the ability to capture unique moments of reportage, with the elegance and exclusivity of images typical of the fashion and the star system. Also in Rome, he founded the INESSE Handmade Photography® studio, which makes his distinctive trait of reportage, creating elegant, dynamic and high-quality images. "Mine is a work that comes from a strong passion, but that has given me a great responsibility: to transform into images of unrepeatable moments that will one day be your memories. Whether they are photographic or video, what I'm looking for is to make unique all the moments in which you will choose to have me at your side, trying with discretion to understand what makes your story unique." [Rome Wedding Photographer]

It is in 2009 that passion and sensitivity for reportage lead him to wedding photography. His photographic reportages always very spontaneous and sought after are able to revive years to anyone who wants the emotions related to extraordinary occasions and events. I’m Tyler Nardone, or simply a curious dude who lives photography as an obsession, a fantastic obsession. I was born in 1986 in a small town between Rome and Naples, I’ve always liked the stories, but I've never been good at telling them, until I found photography, from that moment my journey began. My education is mostly self-taught and through workshops with photographers I admire. I studied and experimented many fields, from photojournalism to portraiture, up to the Wedding Reportage. And for those who ask me if I do "only" Weddings, I like to mention Scianna: "I think that a photographer, in fact, is someone who looks at the world, who tries to see it and who translates it into the language that has learned the most". [Latina Wedding Photographer]
It started 15 years ago when I bought my first professional camera, the Nikon d700, with the earnings from working at the Roman summer events. In the beginning, I experimented with various types of photography from portraits to landscapes to reportage. One day of many years ago.. I went to see a historical re-enactment of a battle between ancient Romans and I handed over my photos to the organizers after a careful selection and retouching. They were struck by the beauty of my photos and in a short time, I began as an official photographer of historical re-enactments! I started practicing as a wedding photographer as an apprentice for some matrimonial studios and started working as a freelance for some communication agencies in corporate events. After the first years of practice, I found my “swing” or my “style” with which I later specialized in wedding photography in events and portraits. With a great passion for some years, I felt the desire to share my knowledge and teach photography. I designed practice photography courses as an opportunity for me especially at a human level to test myself and grow. I thank all the people who have been joining my courses also nowadays and in the well being! [Rome Wedding Photographer]
When, at the age of 18, I entered Angela Merkel’s office to present myself, I couldn’t imagine that this lady would become the most powerful woman in the world one day. Back then, I worked as a photojournalist in Bonn and Berlin, Germany and that I photographed her for an interview. At that time I also had the honor to photograph Bill Clinton, Bono Vox from U2 and many more personalities. At that time it was about the single PHOTO – now it’s about the STORY. Sometime later, at the age of 23, I met Linda. The year after we got married and since then we live happily together, we have a little house in a small town on the sea, less than two kilometers from the pub where we met the first time. We have two adorable daughters, Emma is 11, Lena is 6 and life has been very good to me. One day, a friend of mine asked me to photograph his brother’s wedding. That was the moment when I discovered what I would do with love and passion over the next years. Every weekend I’m traveling not only Liguria and Tuscany but all Italy, Europe, and the world capturing much more than just the exchange of the rings or a signature under the register. It’s about the story of a day that is truly unique in life. How often does it happen that you invite friends and families, some see each other again after many years, to celebrate a big party together? It’s the uniqueness and the joy of that day that has always touched me. I remember the first time when Emma opened our wedding album. I was observing her while she was browsing the spreads and I realized the value these photographs will have one day. That big day often is the beginning of a life together, a time capsule which you will look at all the time with joy and pride. This value is priceless. I’d like to talk to you about your wedding. I’m a Tuscany wedding photographer based in Siena, but I work in all of Italy for weddings. I have taken photos for weddings in Siena, Florence, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Milano, Como Lake, Rome, in the Chianti hills, in Val D’Orcia, and in many other beautiful italian locations. I have a reportage style in which a discrete approach, attention to details and spontaneity are the main ingredients. I always have this objective: to create a story through photos, a photo narration as faithful and natural as possible. That’s why from the beginning, I try to establish starting with the first contact with the future bride and groom, a rapport or feeling of confidence to create a tranquil and relaxed atmosphere that permits me to give life to natural and spontaneous photos full of meaning and sentiment. I was born in Siena in 1977. I graduated with a degree in political science and I obtained a doctorate in the history of European political parties. After working several years at the University of Siena, various events and my passion for photography led me to the decision to become a professional photographer. Shortly after starting my career as an exclusive Tuscany wedding photographer, I was fortunate enough to gain experience in the art world. I published for the magazines Play Boy Italy and Art Tribune and showed my photos at exhibitions at various art galleries ( Wikiarte, Magazzini del Sale). After the birth of my first daughter ( Maria Ludovica) my main focus became to be a Siena Wedding Photographer, a exclusive Tuscany wedding photographer and everywhere in Italy. I know every angle of my marvelous region: Siena, Florence, Arezzo and all of the beautiful villages and towns. San Gimignano, Chianti hills, Val d’Orcia and the Crete senesi hold no secrets for me. Other than wedding photography, I also teach at “ Studiumfotografia”, a school I created, where I advise many up and coming photographers. After the birth of my second daughter (Maria Luce), the University of Siena gave me the honor of the position of visiting lecturer of digital communications in photography. When I’m not working (rarely) I dedicate myself to my passions: naturally Ludi and Luce, but I also love watching movies, reading and I cannot live without music! I'm a destination wedding photographer. I'm excited to photograph weddings in the Tuscan countryside, but also to travel and discover new places, meet people and experience new cultures whilst photographing weddings around the world. I love naturalness and spontaneity and always look to capture emotions. I’m cheerful, outgoing, stubborn and resourceful. I love the good vibes and positive people. [Florence Wedding Photographer]
I was born in Budapest in 1986, I moved to Italy, in Rome in 2009. My husband and I opened our photo studio in 2014. Photography has started to become a job, not a hobby anymore, marriages have become our second home, at the beginning, I accompanied my husband as a second photographer, and in those moments I learned a great deal not only about the technical aspect but also about the human aspect, in managing time and day. I prefer a reportage-style. In recent years at my weddings, I prefer to follow the married couple discreetly in order to be able to capture at best every emotion and all the memories that will remain with them forever. [Orvieto Wedding Photographer]
Yesterday... Whilst growing up I was fascinated by photography and occasionally I shot with my father Minolta and having fun to capture things around me, but that was an hobby. Then, when I met my wife Donatella, who is also passionate about photography and an old Polaroid, I decided, along with her, to immerse myself in this world full time and in 2011, after a month shooting around the United States we decided to move to London for a period to deepen the technical and open our mind to the reportage style. The Street Style in London has fascinated and the Reportage style catapulted us into another world, far away from the box of classic photography. We felt in love with it! We returned to Italy and in 2012 I decided to turn my hobby into a profession, specializing in wedding photography, focusing on spontaneity, on the 'not posing' and naturalness of a shot. Today... I am proud to be a professional photographer, specializing in wedding photography.I share this passion with my wife, life and photographs partner. I love to travel, discover new places, new people and habits, photographing everything that moves me and excites with my shots. Tomorrow... I hope to continue to express myself with photography...excite myself, as I do today, to the emotions of others. [Florence Wedding Photographer]
My career as a working photographer began when I was a journalist. It often occurred that I would abandon the pen in favour of the camera, in order to adequately express my need to tell stories through images. In fact, this approach led me to focus on the subject of photo reporting as I completed specialized studies in photojournalism. Avant Garde Studio came into existence as a natural result of my learning process. I love doing weddings. I love working with couples in love!!!! I actually feel very privileged to capture all those precious moments during a wedding day, while enjoying the freedom of expression and creativity that I experience through photography. [Montreal Wedding Photographer]
Simone Bacci was born in Arezzo in the October of 1975. His first camera is a Kodak Disc 4000 that whilst used during school tours for normal shoots, got Simone interested into photography. With this ‘curiosity’ aside, Simone carried on many international travels on work in the leisure sector. It is during one of these last business journeys that he met a person who relight his curiosity. From curiosity to profession with the main factor being passion. After attending several classes and workshops, most of these focusing on wedding and ceremonies photography, in 2007 he opens his first professional studio. His first jobs are full of enthusiasm but turned off by a formal approach to weddings, with static and posing pictures.Feeling himself embarrassed by being photographed, Simone develops the attitude to feel in the shoes of the couples in front of him during one of their most important day in life. He therefore changes direction, leaving the couples free to do what they prefer, aiming at capturing their emotions in a fully natural manner delivering a reportage oriented approach to weddings. This is how his stories are born. [Arezzo Wedding Photographer]
I'm a wedding photographer based in Venice Italy but I work all over Italy and abroad. I've been working in the wedding industry for the past ten years and I love what I do, I love to capture the happiest moments of my client's life and being part of all of that! My style is called "wedding reportage" or "wedding photojournalism" which means that I avoid static poses and I prefer to catch the real moments and even if I'll be with bride and groom for the entire wedding, they won't notice me. This way they can act normally without feeling weird in front of a camera. [Venice Wedding Photographer]
I am a Chicago-based photographer living in the Bucktown neighborhood in Chicago with my husband, and closest friend, Shawn. When I was thirteen I picked up my mother's camera and started documenting our lives. The one hour photo lab down the street turned into hours and hours in the b&w darkroom in undergrad, then the color darkroom, then a Masters in photography. Today I still find myself in the darkroom every day with my students at New Trier High School. Photography is more than what I do, it is who I am. I teach so that I may pass that passion onto future generations. I am at home and at ease when I am working with and photographing people; it has always made complete sense to me. I take pride in making my clients feel comfortable during our shoots, even the most camera shy. I have an admiration for beauty, peculiarity, and the everyday stuff of life. I let my intuition lead me and I do not force situations to occur. I allow moments to unfold and adjust myself to the situation. I am humbled and honored to photograph the memories and milestones in people's lives. I know that I will always do my best to document people as they are, so they will look back on the moments and still feel all the love and warmth that went into creating those memories. , [Chicago Wedding Photographer]
Hello! I'm Francesco Marinelli, I was born in a little Apulian village in 1978. Why a wedding photographer? Because there's nothing more interesting and fulfilling to me that compose a story of one of the most exciting days of our life. I love to photograph weddings and elopements for couples in the Apulian countryside, but also to travel and discover new places, meet people and experience new cultures. I love naturalness and spontaneity and always look to capture emotions. It might sound cuddly, but no words explain love as the glances, gestures, and silences of those who really love. Trying to grasp these nuances is more than a job to me: it's a therapy to regain the beauty of life in the folds of nowadays not always reassuring life. [Taranto Wedding Photographer]
My professional preparation as a wedding photographer was handed down through my father, a photographer at the time, he taught me the real manual using his old Pentax film. The move to new technologies was natural so I decided to buy my first reflex camera and then stay up to date, following various photographic studios and new courses as a wedding photographer. I simply answer this question: it makes me feel good and I like to describe, tell the story of two people, through the importance of light and the value of shadows. Mainly I love to make people feel good with whom I have the privilege of describing those moments so important and invaluable. I take care of every project, from start to finish, paying the utmost attention to every detail, trying to give the couple the maximum in terms of professionalism. The need to express myself led me to study photography and, as I come to explore it more deeply, I also discovered myself. [Livorno Wedding Photographer]
Rachele Mosolo, born in 1990. I define myself as an enthusiast of things. A hardened dreamer who has always been passionate about photography, good music, travel, new cultures, people and to touch things by hand, for me true beauty is the simple reality of the world, sweet or cruel it may be. I love the reportage and fully immerse myself in what surrounds me. I photograph any situation along this line, I think it is the best way to create eternal memories: those photos that even after years make you relive the emotion of the first time. I love true love and I want to photograph it "up close": I like the idea of being a witness of your emotions and I want to tell them with feeling, delicacy, simplicity, and sense of reality.
