70 Documentary Wedding Photographers...
I studied Audiovisual Communication at University, hoping to become a film director…but ended up working as a TV news cameraman. I really enjoyed being in the eye of the storm, capturing pictures for the news that people would later see in their houses. Working as a TV news cameraman means that you need to anticipate, to make technical decisions quickly. You have to know when the decisive moment is going to happen, and get to the right place at the right time: that’s the perfect training to be a wedding photographer! I started my career as a photographer in 2011, and somehow I applied my direct, non-invasive TV news style to my wedding photography. I would say that my style is documentary photography spiced with a bit of creativity I'm father of two wonderful kids. When I’m not photographing, I love to build Lego constructions and film stop motion short videos with them. [Madrid Wedding Photographer]
As a teenager I enjoyed creating memories in a different, natural and original way. My dream and my hope was to become one of the best wedding photographers in the world. I still did not know how to get it, but I was very clear that I did not want to be a photographer of the bunch. I enjoy photographing people, telling their stories and getting the best out of them. This is where I can further promote the documentary side of this profession. I'm based in Spain and shoot weddings around the whole world. [Madrid Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I'm Andrzej A polish guy living in Barcelona since 2008, the year when my first son Alan was born. Being a dad totally changed the way I see the world, life and time, which since then, passes by quicker and quicker. It made me understand how precious are single moments in our life...and I've decided to become the best I can in capturing those special moments. I specialize in photographing destination and elopement weddings in Barcelona and documentary family photography but whatever is important for you, I would love to be there with my camera. I like to work with people who, like me, think that “there is nothing more beautiful than reality”. [Barcelona Wedding Photographer]

I was born in Colombia, and at the age of 20 I came to live to study cinematography in Septima Ars, and then Professional photography and master in digital Photography in Efti. I have been a freelance photographer for 15 years, created my own company Veroa, and now I identify as Momenticos by Rocio Vega. My personal evolution is very tied to my professional evolution, always learning and evolving, always thirsty of life and knowledge. The emotions create our memories. The things we´ve been through, all that we have lived intensely remains guarded in our heart. But our memory is fragile and photography makes those blurry recollections recover brightness, gives us the possibility of remembering forever these instants that make our life unique. My passion is to capture the best way those momenticos, this small instants in which the soul undresses and teaches its essence. I live through every wedding as a great celebration being conscious that probably this one will be the only time that all of them are in the same place simultaneously, looking for the connections, the bounds that join them, that one that thrills them and makes them cry of happiness. [Leon Wedding Photographer]
I have always been passionate about cinema and since I was a child I knew I wanted to dedicate myself to audiovisual art. Hanging from a camera wherever I went, I decided that I wanted to dedicate myself professionally to my passion. I enrolled in Audiovisual Communication to acquire knowledge and become a specialist in different languages: photography, film, videos, multimedia, television, and radio. During the last years of my career, I launched into the world of work and started working on films as a "decoration meritorious". It was an interesting job because of my passion for cinema, but the decoration was not my thing, so I started to alternate different jobs as an editor and camera assistant. In 2004 I graduated and at the time I had the possibility, I took a camera and started recording and working as a camera operator. It was what I really liked and where I was going to put all my effort. [Valencia Wedding Photographer]
Hello, my name is Jesús Mérida and I am a wedding photographer. After dedicating myself to advertising photography for a long time I decided to look for something more than still lifes that didn't transmit anything beyond aesthetics. I was always attracted to the photography of Jean loop Sief, Elliot Erwing. . . and other great photographers of the time for the spontaneity and feelings they took in their snapshots. It is precisely this that gives me absolute satisfaction within wedding photography. Another source of inspiration is street photography. To know that the moment is unrepeatable, that it is 100% natural. My main objective is that all the moments of the wedding are real, without preparations, without posing. I love this idea of being true, faithful to life and of course to my partners. That's why my style fits perfectly into photojournalism or documentary photography of weddings. I consider myself a self-taught person, although I have done several workshops. I learned the Light in a studio and always going out with the camera. Today I devote myself entirely to photography, it's my way of life. I am a very happy person thanks to my family and photography. My city is Malaga, in southern Spain. I work mainly here although I travel anywhere in the world. [Malaga Wedding Photographer]
I introduce myself as a great enthusiast of my work. I love wedding photography and I have dedicated myself to it for more than 15 years. My parents were photographers and I learned a lot from them. I consider myself a true lucky person, to be able to dedicate myself to what I like the most, which is to capture all those brief moments. that happen on the day of the wedding, and make them eternal [Murcia Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I'm Pedro, a Wedding Photographer. My style has been sculpted through books, movies and the vision of works by other great documentary artists, as well as masters of painting. My interest in photography comes since I was a child, but professionally I have been dedicated to it for two years, other interests in addition to wedding photography are social photography and portrait. I think this job is the best in the world because I get the privilege to capture the most important moments in someone's life. I am completely passionate about what I do. I love this job, the people, places, and the magical moment people shares with me. [Jaen Wedding Photographer]

Carlos Rodríguez is, mainly, a photographer in love with his profession. Self-taught, from a very young age, he became interested in social photography and more specifically now focused on wedding photojournalism. Based in Madrid, he offers his services throughout the Spanish territory and travels anywhere in the world. Its classic and daring style can make your wedding a beautiful sequence of simple, natural images ... while still surprising and attractive. [Madrid Wedding Photographer]
Hello, my name is Joaquín and I am a wedding photographer in Spain. I live in a quiet town in Madrid and my life revolves around my wife and our passions. One of them is to enjoy life. Something so simple and at the same time so complex ... like photography. Maybe for that reason, I have made it my way of life. I believe blindly that when you work on what you are passionate about, the verb work must be replaced by living. And in that we are. Living. The most important thing you should know about me, I have already told you. Although you can draw more conclusions with some of these curiosities: - At the age of 11, my father gave me my first analog camera, an old and damaged Halina Paulette, which I still have and still works hard. - I am the older brother of two sisters as different and different as their hair. - The girl I wanted to go out with in high school, turns out to be my wife today. We have more than half of our lives together. - I like to travel without planning anything, just a map to follow roads or secondary roads and discover places that do not appear in tourist guides. - One of my favorite films is The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and in general, all those where the composers Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Ennio Morricone or James Horner sign the soundtrack. - I prefer to sleep under a starry sky, than in 5-star hotels. You can ask my family and friends. - With 8 years I fell off the top bed of a bunk and my nose is no longer the same. Fix yourself when you see me. - When I want to disconnect completely, my wife and I take the backpack, a camera, some supplies and get lost on any mountain. - My favorite food is the gachamiga, but you know what it is, I'll tell you that it's like the Spanish omelet, but without egg and potatoes. - The first time I thought about the importance of documentary photography and its value as a memory, it was after taking a photograph of my wife, who was crying because of a misfortune that had happened to us. I knew he had just crossed a wall. [Madrid Wedding Photographer]
I love art since I was a child, I am a violinist and also a photographer, I am passionate about wedding photography, I believe in love, in spontaneous emotions, and I love taking photos that capture unique moments. I consider that photography is my perfect way to express who I am and what I come to give, leave a little of my soul in each image. Always immensely grateful to the universe for putting the right people in my way. [Jaen Wedding Photographer]
I have been documenting weddings for 15 years and have shot more than 600 weddings. My love for creating images has captured memories that will last a lifetime for many satisfied couples. On average I photograph around 25 weddings a year both in the UK and abroad. I have photographed weddings as far afield as America and Brazil. I started photographing weddings in 2004. My local market at that time had very few wedding photographers working in Devon, and so with little to no experience of photography, I embarked on a 1-year intensive training course. After this course, I set up my own business, but have continued with my training. I regularly attend workshops in America and have also been a speaker at many of these, educating today's up and coming photographers. I have have had the pleasure of photographing the weddings of James Corden, Joe Hart, and Darren Bent. Outside of photography I am a keen cyclist and have cycled to Amsterdam from London raising money for Prostate Cancer UK. I am a husband to Anita and father to Dillon and Max. Selected as 1 of 25 International Wedding Photographers from across the World by BRIDES MAGAZINE UK for the year 2014, awarded Member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association and the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association, which includes only the best wedding photographers in the world, Vasilis Maneas was born and raised in the city of Veria, Greece and at 2002 he left to study "Informatics and Computer Technology" at the Technological Educational Institute of Lamia, Greece. He successfully completed his studies after 3,5 years although the average was 5 and he graduated with honors as one of the top 3 students of the year. After that, he became the youngest Informatics Professor at 2 educational institutions. Later on, he started his Master in "Digital Media" at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and at the same time, he started to study wedding photography and learned how to combine the "knowledge with the talent". Wanting to learn how to manage the emotional situations that prevail in a special day like that of a wedding, at 2017 he was trained in Dublin, Ireland as an "NLP Mind Coach" and he was certified as a Licensed Practitioner of NLP™ and as a Licensed Master Practitioner of NLP™ from the co-founder of NLP, Dr. Richard Bandler of The Society of NLP™ and from The Irish Institute of NLP™. After that, at 2018 he went to Orlando, USA where he was trained and certified by Dr. Richard Bandler himself, as a "Licensed Trainer of NLP™ ". As a result of that, he started to coach and guide individuals, families, couples, and businesses and he started his second business. He is the first and the only photographer ever who is also a certified professional in the field of personal consulting and self - improvement. He believes that having the talent to "see" a moment and the knowledge to "click" this moment makes the perfect combination. He works as a wedding photographer at Thessaloniki, Greece where his headquarters are but he also travels everywhere in Greece or abroad. [Thessaloniki Wedding Photographer]
I have loved photography since I was young. I have always loved the thought of any emotion being captured naturally, in it's purest form of expression. My passion is born from being a romantic at heart and shooting a wedding like I was shooting my own, without missing a moment. I lived half of my life in Honduras and the most recent half in the USA which is where I have mostly grown as a photographer for weddings, engagements, and elopements. [Knoxville Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I am Catherine, a Franco-British photographer, based in the French Pyrénées. Self-taught, passionate about photography for many years, I have specialised in lifestyle wedding photography. I value family, art, mountain hiking and capturing timeless moments. When I photograph weddings, my most sincere wish is to find the connections between you and the people around you and capture the unforgettable moments and the others more fleeting, some that you will have lived in person, others not ... so that you can relive them anywhere and at any time ... I have lived in many countries and photographed unique weddings, some from the same culture, others intercultural, different types of ceremonies, different environments and locations. Cultures are different, people are different - and there’s so much you can do for your wedding, so many possibilities! Let me photograph your wedding that reflects YOU and tell your own story. It is about your love - and it should speak of that love. It is about the obvious moments of the day but also about small details & subtle gestures. [Pyrenees-Orientales Wedding Photographer]
The more life experience I get, the more I realise the importance of being in the moment. Playing with my children rather than observing them over my laptop; Watching a movie with my wife and just enjoying her company, the easy silence, the film and forgetting the stream of social media updates; Taking the dog out for a walk and just enjoying the walk. As they say, "waking up to smell the roses". My approach to photography is a reflection of who I am: in the moment, spontaneous, observant. I look for shards of interest in the ordinary - maybe a touch of humour, a fleck of irony, a cool reflection. I do that because I'm mindful that I'm here right now and there's always something going on - right now! My other half and I have three children and a dog. I've shot weddings all over the British Isles and USA. I'd love to hear from couples who share my passion for photographic storytelling, who use Pinterest for ideas, not rules; and who place importance in images that reflect who they really are, not what trends tell them to be. [London Wedding Photographer]
When I received a photography course from my great love, I didn't know how great that gift actually was. It taught me to look, I see with different eyes and my smile is wider than any camera can be. Being part of human lives, being allowed to watch love and comfort. It's like photographing from the air, it makes you float with pride. The love for photography started with that gift, then my interest expanded to the field of wedding photography with a traineeship at Eppel Photography. Making those special photos for you is what makes me excited! [Gelderland Wedding Photographer]
Fille graduated as a pharmacist in 2010 but soon felt this profession was not his true calling. During his studies, he got fascinated by photography. Two years after his graduation he started taking his hobby to a new level by photographing parties and events he would normally attend as a guest. Especially attracted by beautiful light and human emotions he started photographing big festivals and parties around the globe. After 3 years of combining these 2 jobs, he gradually got drawn into weddings and kept evolving ever since. Today he has shot about 140 weddings in about 7 years time. And he usually shoots about 23 weddings per year nowadays. He has always been inspired by numerous different photographers, which influences his work in a very diverse way. Alex Webb has inspired him to explore the world of layering. Fille's own background as a festival photographer has brought him a very dynamic style of shooting, focussed on human emotion, light, and colors. Fille is also a keen travel photographer and loves to combine this with his job as a wedding photographer. [Antwerpen Wedding Photographer]
My name is Emil and I am a professional documentary wedding photographer. Currently based in Wolverhampton where I live with my wife and 3 children, but I photograph weddings and elopements all over the UK and abroad. My photography style is pure documentary (also referred to as candid, natural or reportage wedding photography) with no direction/interference as I firmly believe that your wedding day belongs to you and your family and photographer should not interfere with it. I will never ask anyone to stop, smile and look at the camera. Documenting weddings from different cultures - including Sikh Weddings, Muslim wedding ceremonies, Hindu weddings, and traditional European church wedding is something that I really enjoy. I am Polish/Canadian with over 25 years of experience, including reportage work for newspapers in Canada and Poland. Covered destination weddings and events in Canada, Poland, France, Spain Italy, and the UK. [Wolverhampton Wedding Photographer]
Welcome to Catching the Moments Photography. My name is Lukas. I describe my style in three words I would say natural, relaxed and unobtrusive. Candid moments, real emotions and reactions, tiny details you've planned for months, atmosphere, love, laughter and tears. I aim to record your wedding day as it happens, without posing or arranging anything, and most importantly without getting in your way. I believe every wedding is unique and should be treated that way. The thing is, the photos are about the day, not the other way around. Your wedding day, without directing or influencing the events. I won’t boss you around lining up for endless group shots. Instead, I will let you enjoy your wedding day with your friends and family. I won’t get in the way or tell you what to do. Instead, I will discreetly accompany you throughout the day. If that sounds like something you’re after, then you’ve come to the right place. COVERING WEDDINGS THROUGHOUT THE UK AND ABROAD Each year I shoot weddings all over Scotland and the rest of the UK, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, St Andrews, Aberdeen, the North of England and London, to name just a few. I'm also available for destination weddings. [Edinburgh Wedding Photographer]
After my personal experience as a bride, telling in pictures about this wonderful moment in the life of a couple who believes in love, mutual trust, and complicity has become my personal "mission". So I ventured into this difficult and complex world, but I immediately understood that wedding photography is an artistically vast, complete and always stimulating field. I admit that I love marriages so much because they bring out the best in people, they are rich with various emotions and the surprise is always around the corner. For this reason, above all, I love the authenticity of moments because magic happens just when you are simply yourself, together with the most important people in your life: real moments that come to life in a completely natural way. People who love me think that I'm cheerful, ironic, genuine and sincere. It's vital for me to spend my free time with the people I love, chat with friends about everything and anything until the most unlikely hours; I love the warm colours of nature in autumn and the summer light; my favourite colour is blue in all its shades. I am passionate about films and TV series that, in addition to entertaining and telling beautiful stories, can teach a lot about photography. Even if I don't have a favourite genre, I listen to a lot of music, a passion that is part of me since I can remember. [Trieste Wedding Photographer]
Paulo Castro began his photographic journey in 2003. It all began as a hobby. In "the National Park of Peneda-Gerês," where his first pictures were taken, he learned to watch the light and understand the photographic technique. He devoted himself to photography of nature and portrait, having stood out in “specialist” magazines and on online sites. Later, between 2005 and 2010, other work was done in other several areas, especially in extreme sports and reporting in nightclubs. In 2010, he conducts his own project, to a momentous register and of memory and also begins to dream of the possibility of becoming a full-time photographer. With the birth of my daughter, Inês Castro in 2013, my greatest dream had come true. Since then my daughter has been the source of my inspiration in my professional career. Every moment is captured naturally and through it, I tell a story of reality. The photograph is what remains to later be remembered. I photograph for passion!!! [Braga Wedding Photographer]
I was born in Trieste, where I have always lived apart from some time in various Italian cities, but worshiping the sea and the climate of our city, my heart has always brought me back here. And that's where I met Lisa, many years ago. Then one day I asked for her hand ... and since then we share everything, even cameras. I followed Lisa in this project of hers and I believed in her from the beginning, also because I was lucky to have a photographer dad who taught me to love photography in all its forms and made me realize how important it is. Precisely for this reason, I wanted to put body and soul, together with Lisa, in this work; for me it is great to meet new people, living with them the emotions during the wedding day and tell the story through the images. I am a great lover of technology, cinema, film, and TV series: I would spend whole days looking at them without interruption and I always find inspiration for work. In my free time, I love being in the company of our family, chatting with friends even late and spending nice evenings with them filling our bellies with good food, at home or in some restaurant. I love traveling, visiting new places, experimenting with new things and tasting typical foods of the place: work permitting I would be perpetually traveling; from America to Oceania, from South Africa to Iceland, my dream is to be able to visit at least a small piece of every continent. [Trieste Wedding Photographer]
Coming from a creative family I started drawing at a very early age. Now I freeze unique moments with my camera instead of a pencil. What I love most as a wedding photographer, is to be able to capture all these emotions and moments during a wedding day. A smile, a kiss, a tear...all these little things makes me feel very privileged to be there and create all these images that will last forever. I love meeting all these new couples, there families and friends and the interactions between them. No wedding day is the same! [Antwerpen Wedding Photographer]
My photography business began in 2012 with auction houses. My subjects are very often objects of art, my passion quickly brought me to the living. I then started my activity as a photographer in more varied fields. Today my main activity as a photographer is around wedding photography, corporate photography and private photoshoots (maternity photos, CV portraits, baptism photos, family portraits, couple photos ...). With mobile studio equipment, you can go to the place of your choice, a real studio photo session. As a wedding photographer, my deepest wish, but also my duty as a photographer, is to offer you images far from the traditional clichés of the wedding photo. My approach is above all the search for emotion and moments present while looking for a particular aesthetic to offer you at the end of this day, the best possible memory. I thank you for your interest in my work and remain at your disposal for any inquiries. [Versailles Wedding Photographer]
When I was a child, my father, Francesco Armocida, used to bring me to his little dark-room in our home in Brooklyn, where I was born. He was working as an artist and re-toucher for a large advertising agency in New York at the time. He had the great fortune to meet photographers like Avedon and Kertesz, who would shoot and print their photos where he worked. The dark-room was like a rebirth for me. It was a magical feeling to see the images appear slowly. This was my fantastic introduction to photography. We soon moved to Calabria, Italy, where I now live with my wife and children. As a young university student I adored photographing the wonderful aspects of nature. I loved using selective focus and shallow depth of field to create magical atmospheres that reminded me of my father’s paintings. I soon developed a great interest in portrait photography and studied lighting techniques. I took portrait courses and followed many wedding photographers helping them during wedding shootings: then I found out that not only in wedding photography you have to be a good photographer but you really should also have a certain behaviour to achieve a certain kind of photography, the one I was and still seeking for today: capture moments with low photographer ‘interference’. I prefer the documentary style, the one that captures the real, emotional moment. Unlike ‘fixed’ pictures and concocted scenarios, I am aiming to capture genuine life-moments. It is an honour to be part of the WPJA. Not only is it a guideline for B&G, but it is also a tool to help photographers meet couples’ needs. [Reggio Calabria Wedding Photographer]
I started photographing weddings as a way to support myself while doing my MA in photography (more years ago then I care to admit) and it stayed with me, more or less thorough all these years. I enjoy taking part in the happiest day of a couple’s life, documenting all the fleeting moments and details. Documenting is a key word here - I don’t want to script your day, choreograph your joy - instead I try to be in the moment, very present, so I don’t miss anything. I give you your space and just wander around with the camera glued to my eye. I’m quietly observing the action so I can capture it without disturbing the flow. I will give you poetic, but honest images that would hold meaning and bring back wonderful memories. [London Wedding Photographer]
My name is Maxime and I have been a wedding photographer since 2014. What makes me special? I am a human photographer. Because what I love above all in my job is meeting you, understanding your history, your favorites, and your desires. I have traveled a lot, observed fabulous monuments, photographed sumptuous landscapes ... but for me, nothing beats the warmth and richness of human encounters. We're all different. Our experience and our sensitivity make us unique. Immortalize the fragile moments, the stolen looks, the tender and discreet gestures that express what you are: this is what drives my work as a wedding photographer. [Hauts-de-Seine Wedding Photographer]
Thanks for checking out my WPJA page, if you've landed here its because we share a genuine passion for photojournalistic wedding photography! I'm based in sunny Lytham St Annes I was blessed growing up by the seaside. I'm a father first to the little legend Chloe Lou and I guess you could say she's the one responsible for my photography. This little lady gave me such an appreciation for life, looking at it completely different and realising constantly that the moments that are always happening won't ever be repeated to embrace every one of them! With that, I decided I wanted to ensure I document as many of those moments and soon realised the value of it not just for myself but for everyone else I was photographing. Very quickly it became apparent people enjoyed what I did and the ball started rolling with me becoming a wedding photographer. I simply love light & moments and combining these to enable me to tell stories is a gift, one I'm so lucky to share with all my couples. With that said I make a promise to my couples before each and every wedding, that is to make sure they don't just recall how it looked but equally important if not more so, how it felt allowing them to relive that day over and over! A little insight: I'm a HUGE basketball fan, I love to travel (I've backpacked around the globe) and meeting new people fascinates me. Experiencing different cultures and their traditions is something I cherish. Thanks for stopping by, Cheers [Lancashire Wedding Photographer]
Photographer and mother of two beautiful children, Leonardo and Emily. I love people and through the lens I try to grasp the essence and uniqueness of each subject. I consider myself very privileged to be able to capture moments in people’s lives and freeze them to last in time. After attending a year's photographic course in London I decided to stay for another 7 years in England, working and experimenting with my camera. I now live in Italy in a small city called Varese where I was born near the beautiful Italian lake district. Since 2008 I have been part of a team of photographers and video makers who help me developing all the time. Even now I am searching and learning! [Varese Wedding Photographer]
I am a Portugal wedding photographer and I love to be attentive to details, light, colors, shapes ... I am passionate about life. I love nature, I love hiking and traveling. I look for balance in my yoga practice, and cinema is my main source of inspiration. It was thirteen years ago that I started photographing weddings and thus I discovered that my passion is to photograph people. I like to see them being themselves and to live happy moments with those they love. I'm an incurable romantic, I can't deny it… eh eh I want to make a difference on a day as special for you as your wedding. More than someone who is there to photograph, I want to be someone who accompanies you in one of the happiest moments of your life. And, of course, I want to immortalize these moments, so that they can be revised and remembered time and time again, and so that with them we can continue to be thrilled for life outside. [Leiria Wedding Photographer]
As far as I can remember, I think I have always observed and photographed people. I fell in love with the creative photojournalism style in 2016, when discovering the work of Victor Lax and later by having workshops with Sebastien Roignant, Franck Boutonnet, Victor and Erika Lax. I discovered that wedding photography could be something so extraordinary for couples. I discovered my type of photography. Since then, I have worked enormously and progressed to reach an international level. For me, being a photographer means progressing every day. Every year, I add something new to my services, like the "photo-clip" of your story for 2020. I am a real passionate who loves his brides and grooms and makes it a very strong condition before any collaboration. I've been covering weddings through the south of France and Paris since the end of 2016. I'm based in Toulouse, southwest of France and ready to travel anywhere, where love will need my artistic sense. [Toulouse Wedding Photographer]
My name is Sasha and when I am not busy traveling the world and capturing the most precious moments in people’s lives, I am a full-time parent to Gosha (the pup on my back). My sole goal is to translate the precious moments my clients invite me to witness: naturally, effortlessly and full of love. When working, I try to be everywhere and nowhere all at once, so I can capture the tiniest details. I am continuously uplifted by the beauty of the world and draw my inspiration from magazines and films. [Moscow Wedding Photographer]
My photographic journey starts a bit differently than usual, by not “owning a camera since I was young” but by a hobby, I used to have since I was little. The curiosity of observation. I always loved to observe people, their surroundings and fill my eyes with pictures and colors. And this simply because a thousand words, emotions, smells as well as music and melodies can fit into a photograph. The biggest part of my cinematic style was formed by my love for cinema. Last but not least music played a big part in me becoming a photographer. Believe it or not, photographs have music within them. Looking at a photograph that evokes emotion is the same as listening to a song that evokes an emotion and these can be combined into one/become one: a photograph that brings to mind a melody or a song. In conclusion, I found a way to transform all the songs that created pictures in my mind by capturing little but significant moments of life. I used to compose music, but when I stopped I had to find a way to bring out all these images in mind, and that’s how my journey into photography begins. [Athens Wedding Photographer]
Born in France, grown between Portugal and Switzerland. As a kid I wanted to become an architect and as an architecture student I wanted to work somewhere in between architecture and photography. Near the end of the course I bought my first dSLR, and as a photo-amateur started shooting in the streets. I worked some time as an architect, then as an architectural photographer and later, by accident, I made my first wedding reportage. A year later I decided to give more attention to that empathy I felt with this area and, together with Raquel, my life companion, initiated "menino conhece menina" (in English it means BOY MEETS GIRL), a project over which we would shoot others boys and girls that love each other. Since then this work and this profession has been increasingly contagious and today we dedicate ourselves in full time to observe the happy lives that seek for our photos. As a wedding photographer I found my expression in the emotions of the people I photograph, looking for an approach emotionally genuine and documental. [Porto Wedding Photographer]

If I do this job, it's to feel happiness and love...I love that. there's no best job than to be a wedding photographer [Lot-et-Garonne Wedding Photographer]

After majoring in advertising, I worked in various fields of art and communication back in my native Brazil. But it was only in wedding photojournalism that I´ve found real vocation and passion. In 2007 I was privileged to be the first Latin American photojournalist to be recognized by a prestigious WPJA. On the very day, I'm a discreet observer in search for the exact instant, applying the best technique, the right angle, the most favourable light, so that couples can hold on to the best moments of their big day. Together with my husband, our two children, horses and dogs I live in beautiful Twente! I love people, walking, a good book by the fireplace and my heart beat faster! In 2011 I completed my education at the Fotovakschool. I still follow workshops and seminars because I believe you have never been taught and in this way I give you the best of myself. With two more photographers / videographers in the family, it is often a camera that hits the clock here. With a film-shooting and photographing son, and a vlogging daughter, you can imagine what that looks like when we travel together, or what the conversations are often about. I am very proud that I can often work together with my son as a videographer and, if necessary, I can outsource some work behind the scenes to my daughter. My husband is good at accounting then;). One of the nicest things I do is to register a marriage. All that love, the special moments, the joy with a smile and a tear, I love it! I will translate your day into atmospheric photographs, special compositions and beautiful details in a relaxed atmosphere. In short, a beautiful image report of your special day! Luca Salvemini was born in Naples in 1981. Second-born of three brothers, he approached photography on the day of his First Communion, thanks to a compact Olympus given to him by an uncle. His passion becomes a life choice when he enrolls in the Faculty of Psychology, where his studies and background allow him to develop an innovative approach to work, a mix of passion, understanding, and emotion. Time and experience will be too strong, and Luca will form part of his method on the ability to establish true and empathetic relationships with couples. After intense training at the Scuola Romana di Fotografia and a very strong apprenticeship in a Photo Studio, he decides to leave Italy and approach a new work experience in Amsterdam. In a few months, he gives his first solo show at the Amsterdam Royal Gallery. After a couple of years in the Netherlands, he returns to Naples where he decides to found Life Photography together with Davide. He is a huge fan of U2 band. It is impossible to count on the fingers of two hands the number of concerts he has assisted to, in Italy and in Europe. Indeed, as soon as he has free time it is likely to find him shooting pictures around the world with his camera living the experiences of the places. [Naples Wedding Photographer]
Always curious and creative. I was born in a small town near Rome and graduated in Oriental languages. I love to travel and good food. A wedding by chance in Malta, one in Sicily in 2011, let me and my husband/ partner in crime Adriano begin an adventure that leads us today to have about 80 weddings a year. People appreciate us the imagination and colors that we put in our photos. With many spouses, beyond the client/photographer relationship, we become friends, confidants, and psychologists, and the honor that touches us is to know people in their year of happiness, that of marriage. We love making them important, and this makes us important too. [Syracuse Wedding Photographer]
I take pictures as long as I can remember. I was obsessed by the light of Rembrandt and the colors of Vincent Van Gogh. The old Dutch Painters were by far my favorites. Since I was not gifted with the talent of the fine brush, I decided to be a photographer. As a little girl weddings always attracted me. The magic of love, emotions and people just the way they are. Those are, for me, the most important ingredients for a wedding. No matter what dress, ring, cake of venue. I shoot weddings in the Netherlands, but if clients want me in other countries, I will do so without hesitation. I adore my husband (and second shooter) and daughter. My 'idol' of wedding photographers is Gerhard Nel. [Zuid Holland Wedding Photographer]

As of now Adam is a London based wedding photographer who shoots weddings in documentary style with a touch of art. Adam obtained his BA in English Literature and MA in Culture Studies in Krakow where he wrote his Masters thesis on Photography. But his story with photography started much earlier. He was given his first camera at the age of 8, it was a Russian made old film camera called Smiena 8. Adam still has photos taken with it, mainly portraits of his immediate family - full of sentiments as you can imagine. Fast forward to 2002 when Adam decided to move to London. He has had various jobs in the UK which gave him great experience and sense of adventure. He worked as a waiter, personal carer of a disabled person, multilingual help-desk analyst, international IT trainer for Oracle and few others. In 2011 he decided to become a wedding photographer - full time. Photography has been his secret dream since he was a child but it wasn’t until 2007 when he photograph his first wedding. It happened that both the bride and the groom loved the pictures so much, they encouraged Adam to pursue this dream and become a photographer. He also loves travelling, either backpacking, or riding a motorcycle which recently has been swapped for a motorhome - much safer and warmer :). He has been to more than 40 countries and still has plenty to visit, some of them for weddings! He is fluent in English, Spanish, Polish with good Russian. London is known for being a melting pot of ethnic diversity, and indeed one of the best aspects of being a London wedding photographer is the variety of weddings Adam has the privilege of shooting. Whether it be a traditional church wedding, an Indian wedding, a Jewish wedding or even a humanist wedding - Adam will do his best to be "fly on the wall" capturing every amazing moment in a way that he hopes his couples love. The timing, the colours, the light and the angles - it takes experience to take pictures which each tell a story. It's about creatively and uniquely capturing real and special moments so you'll never forget the love and laughter of your big day. You can live in this city for many years like Adam has and still feel like there is so much more that is undiscovered. Although he also shoots weddings outside of London, including across the UK and abroad, most of the weddings which he has photographed have been in this great city. After many years working as a London wedding photographer, and almost 200 weddings under his belt, Adam is confident that he can shoot weddings with class and flair. He has plenty of fabulous reviews from past couples and even a few awards :) [London Wedding Photographer]
Photographer for 12 years, this incredible profession makes me enter your lives in the most beautiful way. I specialize in wedding reporting, but also in family photography, to tell stories… How do I approach my reports? … A unique credo; Happiness, a great zest sensitivity, and energy to spare! Together we will enjoy it! My wife and my 13-year-old daughters follow me in this universe with a lot of conviction and they know my love for photography. My loved ones describe me as an idealist, a dreamer and I have recently understood that I will remain the same. My pleasure is to share, to give, to make this happiness that people live through my photos. I have no ego, only the desire to provoke emotions and to capture them. Long before when I was a child, my dad, an amateur photographer, taught me the basics of photography. Framing and light were his golden rules. I was fascinated by the magic and the timelessness that a photo offered. Then, cinema became a passion. I abandoned the photo for almost 25 years and during the meeting with the one who would become my wife, it became obvious again, a need to give, to share through my eyes. I only enjoyed taking pictures of people on the street, or these little scenes of life that I lived. I still regret not being as avant-garde or technical as the new generation, but no, I like this feeling of finding myself in touch with the reality of light, its intrinsic beauty and the effort that this requires us to optimize what we see. “I consider myself a storyteller, documenting your life with sensitivity and authenticity.” [Tours Wedding Photographer]
Talk about my biography & it seemed a little presumptuous to me, because often, reading the bio of the others, I remember a certain sense of inadequacy, because unlike many adults, I have never attended famous and expensive schools of photography, but I have learned through the years, trying and experimenting with everything, while I was attending university and working to win my longed-for journalist's card. Born in 1977, graduated in communication, I began to become familiar with the camera from an early age, using as a first tool a fantastic polaroid, a gift from the first communion. And from that moment I never stopped, studying the technique in the manuals that I passed on hand and practicing in the field, photographing anything that passed under my nose. In the following years then, I switched to the various analog reflexes and finally to the digital ones after 2005. Today I am a professional photojournalist, mainly dealing with Palio photography, reportage, wedding, and photography, collaborating with various local agencies and newspapers. I love weddings! Capturing the essence and the fun of the day is the most rewarding job you can ever imagine. I offer a documentary type of photography with an artistic touch. I’m very relaxed and easy to be around. I respect people and I let them enjoy their big day without being annoying and interrupting. Most of the time I simply melt into the crowd, observe and catch the best moments happening. I love people, I think they’re the essence of every social event. Their energy, smile, openness attracts me most and reflect in my photography. Ewa Figaszewska, born in Poland, graduated from the University of Silesia, moved to the UK in 2003 where started to photograph. Photography has quickly become the greatest joy in her life. In 2007 after mastering her photography skills in the UK, Ewa has moved to Ireland and started working with dance theatre. Capturing dance and movement has become her greatest passion. 9 years ago she has been appointed as the official photographer of the Irish National Youth Ballet and has been photographing all the company productions over the years. She has also worked with Liz Roche Dance Company, Heartbeat of Home- from the producers of Riverdance, Ballet Ireland, John Scott Dance: Irish Modern Dance Theatre, Dance Theatre of Ireland as well as she has photographed many independent dance projects such as The House of Crossed Destinies at Project Arts Centre in Dublin, Nic Green Dublin edition of Trilogy during ABSOLUT Fringe Festival, Admit One, a dance film, a part of RTE Dance on the Box series and many more. Currently, she is a freelance photographer based in Dublin. Her photographs have been published in The Guardian, Aftenposten, The Irish Times, Sunday Business Post, Irish Theatre Magazine, The Irish Examiner, L'Aperitivo Illustrato and many more. You can also read an article by Stefano Guizzardi- Andare Oltre Il Reportage- about her creative wedding photography in the Italian art magazine L'Aperitivo Illustrato. Apart from dance theatre Ewa has also cooperated with festivals: Fringe Festival, Dublin Theatre Festival, Dublin Dance Festival, Dublin Butoh Festival and photographed many charity & social events. Her photographs were featured on CD covers (Luka Bloom, 2 Meters Sessies, Breda Mayock), theatre posters, programmes, and various publications. Over the years she has developed her individual & unique style. She loves reportage and monochrome photography. [Dublin Wedding Photographer]
The study of photography was largely self-taught and inspired by great photographers. I just love the idea of getting that memorable moment. However, to consolidate my knowledge and skills I had a photography workshop with photographer Jorge Silva ( SilvaJorge Photography, and photographer at public newspapers such as Expresso, Visão Magazine, and Correio da Manhã ), a Masterclass with Cradoc Bagshaw (TIME, Forbes, New York Times ) and another with Frederico Martins ( VOGUE Portugal, GQ Portugal, Maxim USA ) and probably the most important, a close relationship with photojournalist Jorge Miguel Gonçalves, nowadays working as freelancer photojournalist at Sábado Magazine. Therefore, it is not surprising that my favorite vision and technique is that of an observer, non-invasion of the moment. I also have a small studio where I do portrait photography with marking only. I cannot claim that I have been surrounded by cameras my whole life. I haven’t been taking photos from a young age. The truth is that while my dad loved taking pictures of me, it wasn’t something that I really picked up until I got married. My uncle was known as the photographer of the family and my father would tend to ask him for advice. I just never really understood the joy of taking a photo. I just thought a camera was another toy that my dad had! Following my wedding, this all changed. I found photography to be something that I could really explore my inner creativity. As I said in the video, watching people and their interactions is a little thing that I love doing to pass my time. So by combining the creativity and the joy of capturing moments led me to a career in Wedding Photography as an Asian Wedding Photographer. In 2011 our family was rocked by the sudden illness of my father. This was where photography really instilled in me the sense of capturing and recording a moment forever. The moments that my father and I had had together were forever imprinted in my mind and also on paper. This is not a sad story and my father fought and battled his way through the hard times. He and my mother are my inspirations for Wedding Photography. More recently, my wife and I were blessed with a beautiful, bouncy son. He and my wife are my rocks. The little person who keeps me grounded at all times. He is the person who can instantly melt me. And we have some of the most amazing photos of us together! When we meet, ask me to share these pictures with you, I will instantly turn into the proud father with LOTS of photos! In the last few years, I have been lucky enough to photograph a range of different Wedding Ceremonies. From colourful Indian Weddings, fun Sikh Weddings, beautiful Greek Weddings and intimate English Weddings. [Essex Wedding Photographer]
Hi, here's a little bit about me... - I love going to Gin Festivals! - I love weddings...I even had one of my own! - I had my five minutes of fame on The Gadget Show. - I love gadgets, Krispy Kremes, lemon drizzle cake, chilli sauce, wearing bright funky socks. - I suppose I’m a bit of a geek...and love my Apple toys. I've been shooting weddings since 2006, and for the last couple of years my wife Leanne has worked with me shooting video. I'm based in Shropshire (UK) and shoot weddings all over the UK and worldwide. I believe a wedding should be a great big party and not a great big performance. I love capturing all the fun, natural moments during a wedding. [Shropshire Wedding Photographer]
I was born in Scotland but have lived in England most of my life, and I’ve been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. I trained and worked as a primary school teacher before working in FE and eventually made my way to where I am now, using my camera to pay the bills full time. I live in the North West of England with my wife Sally and our 3 children who are our pride and joy. Sally and I run the business together. Well, Sally runs it, I take the pictures. We pride ourselves in looking after our clients throughout the whole process and exceeding expectations. Sally also runs our sister company Smileomatic Photobooths which won the best wedding special touch (North West) at the 2018 Wedding Industry Awards. I’m passionate about making people happy through my photography. I’ve loved weddings ever since I started shooting them some 12 years ago because each and every wedding I shoot is unique. Not because of the flowers, the table decorations or the venues, but because of the people involved. The characters in a story that has yet to be written. Over the years I’ve come to realise that the images that are most important to people are those which can really rekindle feelings and emotions. And this applies to all photos, not just wedding photography. It’s my own experiences in life up to this point that makes me release the shutter when I do. And why what’s important to you, will also be important to me. [Lancashire Wedding Photographer]

Manos you made us feel like home from our very first meeting! The truth is that the thought of getting photographed always made us feel uncomfortable and we believed that we wouldn’t meet the expectations and that you would be “tortured”! But with your guidance, patience and discreetness the result surpassed our expectations! The way you use the natural surroundings is unique! We were really impressed on how focused you were on your job We found a professional and a friend in the same person! Magnificent, unique photos! Photographer of our hearts thank you for everything from the very depth of our hearts! T' es magnifique!!!
Fabio and Maria, you were an absolute pleasure to work with from the start – Customer focus: you were very happy to meet us on more than one occasion to understand how we’d like our wedding day captured and were always very prompt to answer any of our emails (and the many queries from our parents!). In particular we were really touched when you sent us sneak previews of a selection of photos while we were on honeymoon. Proactive: you visited the venues independently to scout out the locations and lighting. On the day, you also took the initiative to speak to our priest and understand when they could take discretely photos during the mass. Professional: On the day, you seamlessly blended in with our guests, adapted flexibly to the flow of the day and captured the story and the emotions of the day beautifully. We are so pleased with our album and are so grateful to you for your hard work and patience! Thanks again to you both!
One of a kind! Manos your work is every word of your motto. I believe that If someone is looking for a photographer to take photos at their event, then Manos you are most probably not that guy. But If they want someone to capture the moments, the stories, the emotions, then I cannot recommend you enough! For us, the memories from our wedding might have been different had we chosen someone else; and this is a such a special quality!
Sergio, I can’t thank you enough for everything you have done. You made our entire wedding experience unforgettable. Of course we knew you were a fantastic photographer but working with you was better than I could have ever imagined. You made us feel so comfortable, confident and special. From the bottom of my heart, thank you ❤ These photos are stunning. We can’t stop looking at them. I will never forget how incredible our day was because of you.
When we first saw our wedding photos, we relived the day, moment to moment and all that thanx to you and your lovely images! You are a true artist and a flawless professional! We couldn’t have made a better choice! Friendly, smiley, easy to approach, discreet, with the most beautiful view and photographic approach to little moments happening around you. “You are simply the best... better than all the rest…" You are surely the photographer that speaks to our hearts!
The photos have arrived! And of course, we absolutely love them!!! You've really captured the spirit of the day and all the moments that made it special. We can't stop looking at them - there's just so much to see in every photo, and the longer we look at them, the more there is to see! The composition of some of them is just genius. We had such a fun day, and I'm just delighted that we've got these photos to remember it by - we're so lucky we found you. The presentation box and USB key are also gorgeous, such a lovely touch. I can't even imagine how much work went into the photos, we've spent hours and hours just looking at them! So a MASSIVE thank you and AMAZING work. Cat
