Italian Destination Wedding Photographer Tells Stories with Fine Art

Vincenzo Aiello was born in 1981 in Sorrento, Italy, where from an early age he showed interest in the wonderful colors and the beautiful light of the Amalfi Coast. As a young man, Vincenzo's photographic expertise developed while working as a part-time assistant to a local photographer, taking his first photographs of friends, girlfriends, and for the local newspaper. After earning a degree in Education from University in Naples, he moved to Rome where he worked as a teacher. During this time, he experienced a growing awareness that photography was more than a hobby, and so he entered the Institute of Photography in the beautiful neighborhood of San Lorenzo in Rome. The stimulating environment of Rome - the "Eternal City" - with its narrow streets, squares, churches and works of art rounded out his personality and deepened his sensitivity as an artist. In 2006 he began an assignment for several magazines that lasted four months, traveling throughout Morocco - from Hessauira to Marrakech to Aït Benhaddou, Casablanca, and much of North Africa. Later he moved to the U.S. for a short period where he began a collaboration with several photo agencies. Together with Anthony Boccaccio, a friend and former National Geographic photographer whom he had known in Rome years before, he took a car trip throughout the Northwest and into Canada, discovering and photographing typical American villages, towns, and people far away from what you find in cities like LA or NY. Vincenzo's passion for portraits and his sensitivity to the human figure brought him ever closer to portraiture, his first and most passionate love. In 2008, he moved to London where he now focuses on fashion and beauty, collaborating with key agencies and magazines including, D della Repubblica, Grazia (italy), Gentleman, Sid Magazine, Fault, B Beyond, UMNO, L'autre, BAKU Magazine, etc. In 2018, he moved back to Sorrento, where he continue to work as wedding and portrait photographer in Sorrento, Amalfi Coast and Tuscany.
