I am an English photographer originally from London and have been based in Nantes, western France for the last 15 years. I have been shooting weddings for over a decade in my own personal style: a marriage of British humour and French romance!
Reportage photography is what comes naturally to me, and what I do best. I follow my visual instinct in capturing the flow of events that constitute the rhythmic journey of a wedding day. Passionate about photographing people, I seek to express the spontaneity and full force of emotion that truly define a wedding as a once in a lifetime experience.
Being completely bilingual, my cultural and communication skills allow English-speaking couples, getting married in France, to feel totally at ease in front of the camera, essential for creating natural and dynamic photos.
Aside from covering weddings, I have worked in the UK and France in the fields of social, documentary and travel photography and am a regular contributor to national press publications such as Capital, Le Point and Le Nouvel Observateur. I am also a teacher of photography to graphic design students.
