Hello there. I’m Ola, a documentary wedding photographer based in London, UK.
My love for photography started as a hobby, going on long walks in the evening with my camera along the river Thames and other iconic buildings and monuments in London.
This soon led to me covering events and celebrations for friends and family.
I began receiving requests to take pictures of weddings and quickly realised the beauty in telling the love story of a couple and capturing these memorable moments. This prompted me to invest in further developing my skill set by attending various photography workshops and mentoring sessions. The dedication to what started as a hobby has now seen me covering weddings across the UK and abroad.
Apart from photography, I’m married with two children (a little boy and a girl) and spend my free time watching them flourish. I enjoy watching football and have a varied taste in pretty much any genre of music. You’ll often find me listening to classical music one day and then soca music the next, it usually serves as a backdrop while editing photos.
My approach is to document the day in a way that isn’t intrusive. The aim is to create images that will enable my couple to relive their wedding day by delivering pictures that convey, not just what happened on the day, but what it felt like to witness it.
