I am a Surrey Wedding Photographer based in the UK. It's a familiar story, but I discovered photography aged about sixteen when I found my grandfather’s old camera lying unused and unloved in a desk drawer. Ever since that day I have rarely been seen without a camera around my neck.
I went on to study Photography at the University for the Creative Arts in Surrey, achieving a 1st Class Honours Degree. After that, I became a teacher and freelance photographer. I was fortunate enough to have my work exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery and Somerset House and featured in a number of magazines. Until I photographed my first few weddings, I didn’t think anything could compare to the buzz and excitement of photographing at London or Paris fashion, but in 2007 I set up Married to my Camera and haven’t looked back since!
I believe in taking unobtrusive reportage style pictures that capture the most important events of the day, as well as those spontaneous and sometimes humorous moments that make every wedding unique. To date, I've shot well over 200 weddings.
