Occitanie elopement and wedding photography by Ludovic Lieffrig, of France

I am a photographer since 2016, the photography is a professional reconversion, before that I worked in the automobile. A few days after buying my first SLR camera, I announced to my wife that I was going to change my life and become a photographer! This choice might seem a little crazy, but I knew deep down that it was my way, I was made for that! I worked very hard, I followed several pieces of training, I read a lot to reach the level of knowledge necessary in this job. Today, I still participate regularly in training and I like meeting and interacting with other photographers, it helps me to try to do better. Why did you choose to be a wedding photographer? Simply because this passion job is all that I love! Being able to be with you to live all these moments during your wedding day, is just exceptional! The eye in the viewfinder, ready to capture and immortalize all your emotions, my pleasure is to succeed in capturing the smallest details of your day. To offer you an authentic and timeless wedding report is my main source of motivation. [Occitanie Wedding Photographer]

France Elopement and Wedding Photographer Hong-Phuc Bui, for Bretagne

My name is Hong-Phuc, but call me HP. It's much easier to remember, but also to pronounce. Especially since it sounds pretty good, while recalling a famous brand of computers that I will not mention the name, Harry Potter or HP sauce. I'm a photographer, and I like martial arts and table tennis. A little cliche, you say. I'm French Wedding photographer in Brittany based Côtes-d'Armor area and close to Saint Brieuc. All the most moving moments that life can offer are my inspiration and make me vibrate. So I chose to share with you the happiness, simply. Listen, discover, exchange ... and sit on a bench to contemplate people, life landscapes. Most often with my camera in hand, and sometimes without. I like to enjoy the moment, the spontaneity of expressions, the magic of a gesture or a look. And beyond photography, I also like to share these moments with you. Emotion - natural - spontaneous wedding photographer For that, I opted for a natural, spontaneous and lively photographic style that suits me as a person and a wedding photographer. The captured photos are always taken on the spot with spontaneity and sensitivity. Every detail is important, and some tend to make the day of your wedding or your photo shoot absolutely unique. Paris wedding photography by Elodie Ruelleux-Dagorne of Île-de-France

Hi all! I’m Elodie and I have been photographing happy people for 4 years! I’m a typical Parisian: love my city to bits but also very happy to leave it, grab my backpack and go, often to unusual places like Svalbard or Vanuatu. Capturing moments and emotions is what I love about my job. For one whole day - sometimes more - you immerse yourself into one of the most beautiful days of a couple’s life and to be able to capture it and offer them memories of that is a privilege. I love getting to know people’s stories and characters and would always aim at meeting up around a drink to discuss their forthcoming wedding (also because I’m biased to a glass of wine!) or do a skype call for people who are further: it’s important that characters match as I will be the closest thing you will have to you on your special day – getting along, laughing together will make your pictures that bit nicer. Before being a photographer I spent years working in the music industry, which I think contributed to the fun and modern outlook I try and inject into your pictures. I'm also a massive traveler and aside from weddings shoot nature and wildlife, mainly cold places where you can find northern lights or polar bears. I sleep very well on planes so will be the first to jump at any opportunity to photograph a wedding abroad, but will be just as happy to photograph you in our beautiful country. So get in touch, let's have a little chat, and see where things take us from there! [Paris Wedding Photographer]

WPJA Communiqué: Features
While some of us were fortunate enough to be born as extroverts, not everyone feels the same way. For a good chunk of the population, any number of the typical wedding day traditions can inspire anxiety and existential dread. This day is all about you, yes, but does that mean all the attention has to be on you as well? FROM VOWS TO CHITCHAT, WHICH REMAINS SACRED? Traditional weddings often require some degree of performance on the part of the couple, whether that is in the form of reciting...Read more
WHAT EXACTLY DOES IT MEAN TO ELOPE? If you look up the definition of “elope” in the Merriam-Webster dictionary , you’ll find a plethora of meanings making it quite clear how polarizing the word has become, and how it has transformed and evolved with the passage of time and even personal preference.Read more

Everyone always says that your wedding day is all about you. But let’s face it; that’s not always actually the case. Many couples stress over guest lists, planning, expenses, and all the frills and traditions of your standard large wedding that they may or may not even be interested in. Fortunately, though, the concept of small weddings is becoming increasingly popular for couples who either want to be able to completely customize their day where and when they want with the option...Read more
Not everyone has a lagoon or glacier next door, but there's no rule saying you can't have a small wedding in the great outdoors. Take advantage of natural sunshine and that open, airy feeling and give your guests some room to breathe! LESS IS MORE Instead of hemming your guests in on all sides, give them some elbow room, and legroom, too. There's no need to induce claustrophobia when you've got a wide, open space. Let your guests take in the view, especially if you've got a spectacular one. You...Read more
Traditionally speaking, often times it is the couple’s families who help pay for their wedding. However, unfortunately that’s just not possible for everyone, especially these days when the cost of weddings can quickly and easily get out of control. Some couples find themselves in the position of paying for all of their own wedding expenses, which can be quite the financial burden to take on, and about 40% of Millennials end up in this boat. So, how can you stick to your allotted...Read more
It’s no secret that these are strange times we’re going through right now, and there are many couples out there with weddings set in the near future who are left feeling uncertain and concerned about their futures. While that’s understandable, it’s also important to remember the reason you’re getting married in the first place; not for the grand celebration, but because you love each other and want to be together. REMEMBER WHAT'S IMPORTANT You’re in this position now, about to get married, for...Read more
