As a photographer, I always look for genuine moments that tell stories. The moments that reflect feelings or how the subjects I am working on are connected with one another, or with others are the main reason for me to press the shutter. Mostly, not for how they look. Normally I don't direct my clients what to do. Basically it is just me be there seeing how the event or the day unfolds, find its natural beauty and capture the selected moments from my perspective. That is my style of photography. Photography to me is a visual language. A photograph is like a massage expressing our thoughts and feelings. I prefer taking pictures that tell stories, pictures that reflect not just how do we look at a particular moment but how we feel, what we think and how do we connect with each other. I found that a photograph, well captured, could be very powerful. It reinforces our memory without having to describe a situation in words. As a father of two. I found documentary photography is the best way to capture pictures of my family. I believe that the best smiles are those we are not forced to. Although it takes a lot of effort and anticipation to capture the moment with this photography style, the outcomes are authentic and much more meaningful. [Bangkok Wedding Photographer]

I fell in love with the moments I saw through my lens…this is the reason that makes me become a visual storyteller. Back to the very first step, my shooting journey has begun with techniques and shooting tips like everyone who loves taking photos. Practices…trainings…lessons…are my daily life since I was a student of architecture and design. My shooting passion also drove me to live and learn in London which gives me opportunities to explore the perspective of my lens. Step by step throughout the journey in London, I got a chance to work with the leading professional photographer of wedding photojournalist of the UK. My chance also wide opened for the fashion shoot. It’s come with opportunities which let me explore more on the photography road map to work with leading magazines and do advertising photoshoot for the famous brands in various industries. During the time, I also had chances to do portrait photography for individuals, couples, families, friends. I’ve learned a lot more about how to capture the very touchy-feely moments from portrait shooting. I am still learning from every shot that I take to continue my visual storytelling journey. For me, all chances were not just a chance, they were significant experiences that have made me believe that a photographer is an engaged storyteller who has a trained, creative, and talented eye to see a photographic opportunity and make a decision for the moment. With the strong feeling and belief that every moment is precious and perfect in itself, I wish I will put myself more engaged in demonstrating the moments like creating genuine art…to tell the story from time to time Today, it’s more than 10 years of shooting experience, there is ONE THING that I’ve found. This ONE THING has never changed, and this ONE THING makes me believe in what I do and make me be who I am. This ONE THING is THE TRUE MOMENT. It is real. It happens only once. It stays forever. Therefore, for me, a perfect photo is a capture of the TRUE MOMENT which will keep and tell the story. TRUE MOMENT is my inspiration for shooting every single photo. It’s not just a shooting style…it’s beyond a signature…it is my honest to capture the once in a lifetime moment that I fell in love since the beginning and I will continue my journey as a man who loves capturing the moments. I'm Vu Nguyen, founder, and photographer at Emo Wedding Studio. I love photography and design as well. Wedding photography is one of my passion and my job in life. I was born in Sai Gon - Vietnam, but I have influence in wedding photography of foreign countries very much. It happened in the period of my working time in New Zealand. That had been a great time in my life and it informs my style in wedding photography. Emo Wedding is an idea when I had lived in New Zealand. It kind of my child that I have spent a lot of time to build it up. It takes a long time to inform and grow up until now. Fine Art, Hipster, Boho in engagement and mix of modern in wedding journalism are things I am following in photography. I photograph emotion and natural moments. I'm searching, observing, predicting to capture a unique moment in every photoshoot. To me, each couple will have different stories and emotions. My role is to capture all moments happens and to be a storyteller. [Ho Chi Minh Wedding Photographer]
Ambient Wedding Photography is established in 2013, when Dzang Tran – the founder – had the chance to take photos for a couple in their wedding, and became enchanted by the feelings, loving moments that they shared for each other. Ever since, we’ve been trying to keep our approach organic – because we think there should always be real emotions and real moments in our photographs. At Ambient Wedding Photography, we embrace the imperfections – we’d like to take photos of real humans, after all; so we are welcoming couples to come as they are, and share their stories with us. Until now, when we have managed to grow into a bigger group, and we are still, more than ever, exciting to understand people through our photography. [Ho Chi Minh Wedding Photographer]
My name is Thanh and I am the owner of Ineffable Studios. I first fell in love with Hollywood movies and the art of films before transitioning to photography. I believe that's how I develop my style and my approach to wedding photography because I love to tell stories. Since my couples are the story, I want to be able to tell it as genuinely as possible. I want to say that my style is photojournalistic with a touch of ineffable. I don't want to just capture the moment, I want to capture it from a unique perspective. I challenge myself to see and shoot each wedding differently because each wedding is uniquely it's own. The venues and locations can be the same, but each couple is not. I really enjoy being able to document the story of my couples and capture all the emotions throughout the day/s by being in the background. My team tries to work like ninjas so that you can fully enjoy your day. I feel like that's how we able to get everybody to be comfortable enough to show their real emotions because they don't feel our presence. [San Jose Wedding Photographer]

Hi, I'm Ronnie, born and grown up in Hong Kong, a tiny spot on our planet where 'East meets West'~ I studied History back in my University time, but besides my major study, I joined a documentary filmmaking course taught by a local veteran producer. That was when I started to discover my interest in videography and photography. Once graduated in 2008, I saved most of my salary from my first job, and bought my first ever camera. I became more addicted to photography, and especially photojournalism, because it has the magic to freeze a moment and tell a great story. Thanks to another experienced teacher, I was able to learn from him more advanced photographic technique and philosophy, and gradually I have engaged myself with wedding photography. Since then, I was lucky enough to cover weddings not only in Hong Kong, but also in Germany, Australia and China, with couples from various countries including France, Netherlands, Canada, South Korea and more. It's not an easy ride for sure, but I am glad that I have came through all these years and my love of wedding photojournalism simply grows with time! Besides photography, I'm a travelholic, although there are so many wonderful places yet for me to discover. Just like wedding photojournalism, I will never get bored of it! Huge hugs and thanks Tanarak and your team for capturing all the sweet and unforgettable moments of our wedding on Christmas Eve in 2014. Ronnie, thank you for being our photographer and documenting our wedding in Hong Kong. We are thankful for the communication and the way you try to understand our wants in the consultation process. The locations you scouted for us were aptly chosen and fit well with our story and background. The candid moments you captured in our homes, the banquet hall, and on the streets of Hong Kong gave us much bragging rights and most of all, the perfect way to cherish a special day. We are also thankful for the extra effort you took in creating the custom-made memory drive and photo box. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much Ronnie for photographing our wedding registration in October. We are absolutely delighted with the results! You are very professional and took a lot of candid photos of us. This is exactly what we are looking for, a photographer who can capture the real moment and emotion of the day for us. You certainly has a knack for capturing natural and fun memories and producing very high quality images that we will cherish for the rest of our lives . We highly recommend you to others looking for a professional and fun photographer!
Dear Vincent: Thank you so much for capturing the best day of our lives...We are so grateful to you and your team for your dedication and professionalism. These little gifts are just a small token of appreciation to you for giving us the souvenirs of your wedding that will last a lifetime.
"Thank you to Vincent and his team for capturing our wedding day so perfectly! It wasn’t an easy job, I know! We gave you very little guidance on what we wanted and what was going to happen during our fun but chaotic wedding. But you went ahead and improvised when needed and the memories you captured are so real and wonderful! It was everything I had hoped for and more!"
I can’t believe that the week has gone but we both just wanted to write and say thank you so much to your team for those fantastic photos. You were a pleasure to have at our wedding, nothing was too much to ask. You made us feel comfortable and at ease. I’m pleased to say that your team made quite the impression on our guests whom all stated how professional you were and we have recommended you to our family and friends :). Thank you so much. Keep in touch with us :) All the best, Dieu & Nguyen Ps: Hope that we can "co-op" again in parents and baby shoot (soon) lol
Love all the captures, and people’s reactions and emotions. Priceless! Thank you so much Ronnie for being a huge part in our multiple wedding events! We are so thankful that we have found you and guess what, it's only the beginning. Many more events we love to have your help in documenting!! Through your lens, we were able to see what we didn't on those days and get to relive in those moments again.
After the wedding date was set, we’d been looking for the professionals that could make the ‘once in a life time’ ceremony most memorable. We both gave importance to the photographer as we needed the natural looking portraits that groom and bride don’t need to overact (and of course this would come out from the skillful photographer) . Your Portfolio reviews impressed us and that was without hesitation to contact and decided right away to use your service since our first talk. Woodyalens is the real professional that delivered best service and photography. Thank you very much for taking beautiful snapshots of our most important day.
I’m always obsessed with having good photos on my special occasion because a single photo can tell a thousand words and always bring back good old memories every time we look at it. Thus, I chose you to picture my wedding because your work has shown me that you tell good story through pictures. And yes, I made the right decision. Every time I look at my wedding pictures now, I can still feel the day because all the emotions and stories were pictured perfectly. I can recall all the smiles, happiness, romance on my big day. Moreover, what I like most is that I can be myself all the time and you just find the right time, right place, right angles to photo me. That’s make things went on smoothly and naturally so that I really have a beautiful ‘story-telling photo essay’ of my wedding days. Thanks so much for making my memories live forever in the pictures.
Dear Tanarak, A heartfelt thanks for being our photographer on our wedding day. We enjoy it a lot every single time going through the photo album. It has definitely been a true pleasure – thanks again, Tanarak! - Ariel & Jason-
