The elopement ceremony inside the courtyard at the Guelph City Hall in Ontario
The ceremony took place inside the garden courtyard at the Guelph City Hall, surrounded by glass windows of the tall building. Although the courtyard was surrounded by walls, the wind would blow through the courtyard rustling skirts and creating windswept hairstyles.
Although this was the couple's first marriage they wanted an intimate ceremony, surrounded by just close family members. It was important for the bride, to have her father, who had late stage Alzheimer's, and her mother, who lived in a different province, to attend the wedding. With everyone in attendance, the couple said their personal vows on the most beautiful day in the courtyard of the local city hall. The wedding was simple, elegant, intimate and just perfect. It was an honor to capture this special time in their lives.

The bride and her mother hadn't seen each other for awhile due to living in different provinces. It was wonderful to capture the bride and mother (who was chosen as the Matron of Honor) share a laugh together before the ceremony. It was the first time they would see each other upon the mother's arrival.

The wedding ceremony was intimate, attended by a few family members. The couple shared a private moment just before the officiant arrived. The bride wore a beautiful silk pink dress.
