Top Denver Wedding Photographer Justin Edmonds

Working as a photojournalist for the past 11 years for clients like Getty Images, The New York Times, Sports Illustrated, Major League Baseball, NASCAR and The Denver Post, to name a few, I've had the opportunity to document stories, events and people all over the country. I bring that level of experience, problem-solving and hard work to each and every wedding that I photograph. I've shot more than 130 weddings in my career which is something I can admit that I didn't see coming as a business student at the University of Denver, CO. I definitely thought I would end up in the advertising industry but I picked up a camera while studying abroad in Rome, Italy and haven't put it down since. I love spending time with my fianceé, Amy, and our families. When I have some free time I can usually be found on the golf course, riding one of my three bikes or snowboarding. I am passionate about cooking and craft beer, having tried more than 2,000 unique beers to date. [Denver Wedding Photographer]

Denver Wedding Photographer Carl Bower

I am a photojournalist and Pulitzer finalist who approaches weddings with a quiet presence and an eye for authenticity. I work with a calm demeanor and a desire to remain unnoticed, finding small moments of intimacy in the midst of public celebrations. While environment and ritual play an important part in my wedding coverage, I also focus on the personal connections and latent emotions brought to the surface by such pivotal moments in life. I feel my task is to anticipate and document moments as they naturally occur, without direction or interference. My ultimate goal is a highly personal book that is both beautiful and meaningful, authentic to the moment and revealing of those depicted. I'm a recent transplant to Denver, CO from Washington DC and I continue to cover weddings nationwide. [Denver Wedding Photographer]

LA wedding photographer Darren Hendry serves couples in CA via The Hendrys Photography.

Howdy, I'm Darren, one half of The Hendrys! I am not a typical wedding photographer, that is for certain! You could say my style is very non-traditional and pretty offbeat. My approach to shooting is simple; I’ll keep it mostly documentary (you can’t beat a good caught-off-guard expression), capture the action as it unfolds throughout the day, avoid cheesy clichés and let everyone have good old knees up without any interference from me. I’m constantly pushing myself creatively and I am incredibly passionate about telling unique stories for each couple, so I aim to go into each wedding with a clear mind and eyes wide open. If I could describe my work in four words they would be the following: Natural. Emotive. Creative. Honest. I am also a sucker for some awesome light. My journey into the world of wedding photography started back in 2011. Prior to that, I was shooting portraits, gigs and architectural stuff (I have a degree in Architecture) and was starting to get slightly bored, not to mention, my lack of creativity was failing me. I randomly put a wedding photography advert on Gumtree and secured my first booking after a few weeks! Since then I have never looked back and have been doing wedding photography full-time for almost 7 years. It sounds slightly clichéd but getting to travel the world and meet loads of new people along the way has been totally inspiring. I have also stepped out of my creative boundaries and change it up at every wedding I capture, which always helps in keeping things fresh. It’s been an awesome experience so far! Denver wedding photography by Leona Campbell - Colorado WPJA

My style of wedding photography is best described as creative wedding photojournalism. I care deeply about documenting the fleeting moments that make your wedding or elopement day uniquely and authentically yours. When I'm not busy photographing weddings, my husband and I love to spend time in the outdoors. A typical vacation for us usually features a multi-day backcountry trek, unseasonably inclement weather, and more freeze-dried meals than I'd care to admit. I am also a certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide through the Association for Nature and Forest Therapy. I offer public and private guided shinrin-yoku experiences (aka forest bathing or forest therapy). I specialize in private walks for couples, which can be a wonderful way to relax in nature and reconnect with each other in advance of or just following your wedding or elopement celebrations. My guiding business is called Wind in Pines LLC. If you’re interested in adding a forest bathing walk to your wedding celebrations, whether as a couple or for your wedding party or bridal shower, let me know! In addition to my work as a photographer and forest bathing guide, I volunteer as a bird handler with a local raptor educational organization called HawkQuest. If you think I might be the right photographer for your wedding, I’d love to hear from you. [Denver Wedding Photographer]

Los Angeles Wedding Photographer James Juarez, of Southern California

I'm a photographer, editor, and writer based in Los Angeles (in the lovely enclave of Atwater Village). I’m not a traditional photographer by any means—I document experiences and tell stories for artists, musicians, and mindful couples that want to be in the moment and captured as they are. I watch old films, read old books, and collect old cameras to get inspired. Skateboarding, going to gigs, hanging with my wife Sarah, walking our dog Pearl June (or 'Junebug' these days), and spending time with friends and family are things to look forward to. And of course, I'm wildly obsessed with all things punk, love, and DIY. Being mindful and being present is important to me and my work. With a cinematic touch, I tend to look for the quiet and calm in a moment. It's the serene stillness of a boy jumping into a crowd of surf punks or the expression of pure love encapsulated by a bride's smile on her wedding day. Creating a true document of these experiences is what I'm after. [Los Angeles Wedding Photographer]

Las Vegas wedding photographer Tomasz Rossa - Nevada

After high school I have not pursued photography for quite few years instead I have concentrated on my athletic career. I represented Poland in the 1988 Olympic Games in diving. I have picked up a camera but this time a digital one in 2002 and I have never looked back. I have been shooting weddings since 2005. My wedding photography career started by shooting for friends and family. But soon I have been approached by clients from all over. David Braun - California and Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographer

Calm and unobtrusive, yet determined to get the shot. Initially, I was somewhat intimidated at the prospect of shooting weddings professionally, as a business. Fortunately, that changed after my first summer as a wedding photographer in South Lake Tahoe, California and I never looked back. The feedback I received during weddings and upon delivery of the final product motivated me to continue my pursuit of wedding photography. Today, I am an experienced wedding photographer, having shot weddings in downtown Sacramento, the California foothills, Quincy, Truckee, Reno, and almost every venue in Lake Tahoe. I am deeply passionate about photography and capturing the most meaningful moments of your wedding. I specialize in a photojournalistic approach, documenting your day as it unfolds. As a seasoned photographer with a wide range of freelance experience, I know how to anticipate the unique, natural moments of a dynamic event. I spot the key moments, big and small, that you will want stunningly, permanently recorded. Creativity, attention to detail, and dedication define the services provided. Whenever possible, I utilize both my artistic skill for shooting the natural environment and my experience as a wedding and event photographer to produce timeless, compelling imagery that truly captures the moment and the place you have chosen to get married. Formal or casual, you have a vision for your wedding and I would like to be there to tell your story with my camera ... [Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographer]

Houston wedding photography by Jill Goehring of Texas

I graduated from the University of Houston with my Master’s Degree in Accountancy and started a career as an auditor in 2015. Only a few months after I started, I felt out of place. Photography has always been my passion growing up. When I was little, I would borrow a camera phone from one of my cousins and start taking photos of things around me. In my senior year of high school when one of my good friends got this very awesome Sony camera phone (it was not a smartphone yet), she would let me use it an document our memories of senior years, per my request of course :). I used the paychecks from my very first part-time job to buy myself a DSLR and start taking photos for friends and family. So yes, it would be so much fun and exciting to start a photography business. While people spend 4 years of college trying to learn to do a job, I spent my 4 years to learn how to do a different job, not photography. I started doing wedding photography and fell in love. I fell in love with the exciting and upbeat environment of a wedding, I fell in love with the emotions that a bride goes through on her wedding date, I fell in love with how the guests dance the night away and how the wedding cakes taste just so indulging, and I fell in love with being the one to document all of that. So that was how Half A Rice Studios was born. [Houston Wedding Photographer]

Colorado and Durango wedding photography by Colt Fetters

We’re a soon-to-be husband and wife wedding photography team based in Durango, CO! We met in sweet home Alabama, fell in love, and moved our sweet tea and buttered biscuits to Southwest Colorado and now aim to be the very best Durango wedding photographers! We love exploring new places and capturing love stories among natural scenes. Together, we’ve been lucky enough to have traveled in beautiful places by bicycle - from the colorful towns of Cuba, the towering mountains of Peru, and the quaint countryside in Italy. One of our favorite landscapes to explore happens to be in our very own backyard, The San Juan Mountains and the desert of Southern Utah. We believe there is no better way of creating meaningful experiences with the people you love than by sharing your stories, exploring your passions, and surrounding yourself with the ones you love under the big starry western sky. A woman holds a little girl's hand while the bride kneels down and smiles at her before the ceremony in this wedding photo | Children photography at weddings.
The start of the great divide between the sexes can be witnessed a lot earlier in life than most believe. Girls and boys participating in weddings around the world demonstrate this time and time again. Frequently, little girls will relish the opportunity to dress up in their finest, while the boys do so begrudgingly, kicking and screaming all the way to the altar, so to speak. However, it doesn’t take long before that divide is bridged, and children are children again, with neither girls nor...Read more
Philippe Swiggers, of , is a wedding photographer for Puglia
While wedding party stereotypes still exist, most people realize there’s more to being a bridesmaid than looking beautiful, more to being a groomsman than adding life and excitement to the reception party. But even the bride and groom might not fully understand just how helpful these roles can be, long after the train is bustled and the speeches are given. With a little direction (and not that much effort), members of the wedding party can facilitate great wedding photojournalism —a favor that...Read more

Never going to see her again at our breakfast table in her nightgown and socks...Annie was all grown up and leaving us, and something inside began to hurt.” The scene may be fiction, but the emotion behind it is...Read more

With the snap of a shutter, a camera lens captures a single moment in time; one that can never occur again in the exact same way. At any given wedding, there are an infinite number of these moments that pass us by. Some hold in place longer than others; some come and go in the blink of an eye. It is through such fleeting details that some wedding photojournalists earn their keep. With a professional eye honed through years of visual training and practice, they constantly scan the wedding scene...Read more

Choosing you was the easiest part of the shit show that was wedding planning. Working with you is something I would choose over a hundred times, you get how silly and impulsive we are . And You’re so damn tall, but you move like a ghost to get a shot that is as if it was taken from right in front of me. I remember dancing with you for like two seconds, and otherwise, don’t remember seeing you. It’s unbelievable. Thank you for capturing our wedding so perfectly. I would love to buy you a drink whenever you’re in town and are free.

Every shot you took was a cut above.  Not only are you a master technically, you're an artist.  You understand how objects and shapes come together to create a powerful image and tell a story.  You've also obviously carefully studied how people interact.  The photos are so well-timed... it's almost as if you knew what I was going to do before I did it.  That takes quite a trigger finger. You not only took photos of everyone who's important to me... you captured who those people are.  My panic.  Greg's graciousness.  My mother's goofiness. My wedding is the first time I've ever seen my father cry… I know it was just another Saturday at work for you, but that album is the best wedding present I received.  I'm so grateful I found you. On top of the compliments regarding your work, I just wanted to say that both Greg and I really enjoyed your company.  You have a good spirit about you.

I absolutely ADORE these photos!! You did an amazing job and I just want to show you one simple shot that just gave goosebumps because it was basically a recreation of my best friend and I's favorite picture from graduating high school. I just feel the love and growth and maturity we've got through together in your picture. I wanted to let you know and let you know you're doing such a great job with your work even in these small moments-- whether you know it or not!
