Born in Austin, and raised in Dripping Springs, I learned the small town way-of-life at an early age. Being country at heart, you will often see me dressed in boots. After attending Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, where I met the love of my life, my husband and I decided to plant our roots in New Braunfels, a town full of culture with a strong community. My family grew by one as my daughter joined this world in October of 2013. And just when I thought my heart could not be more full, we added another little girl to our world in November 2015. I am an avid believer in finding that passion, pursuing it, and making your dreams become a reality. Who says you can not make a career doing what you love? That is what photography is to me...my passion, my dream come true. I take pride in being able to connect with my clients and capture their personalities and style. Natural light warms my heart and a gorgeous sunset makes me weak in the knees. I am always creatively challenging myself to take an ordinary moment, an ordinary photo, and make it extraordinary. In 1991 he had his first step on the ladder as a local news photographer and developing and printing his work. Philip also traveled and worked around the world on luxury cruise lines like the Queen Elizabeth II before settling down in San Antonio, Texas. There he photographed actors and models before pursuing weddings full time. Photographers that have shaped and influenced his life include Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa and Steve McCurry. What motivates Philip is the art of anticipation, capturing those unique and special moments throughout the day. Philip works unobtrusively with a strong emphasis on use of geometry, light and shadow throughout his work.. Most importantly the couple can have FUN! [San Antonio Wedding Photographer]

I have had a camera in my hand since I was about 7 years old. Photography is truly a passion for me and I am fortunate enough to mix my work with my passion. I attended Hope College in Holland, MI and graduated with a degree in Art focusing in Photography and Ceramics, and a degree in Psychology. I currently reside in San Antonio, Texas with my husband and son. We are expecting our second child this spring. Thank you for taking the time to look at my work. I would be honored if you would allow me the privilege of sharing your moments and helping tell your story. [San Antonio Wedding Photographer]
I graduated from the University of Houston with my Master’s Degree in Accountancy and started a career as an auditor in 2015. Only a few months after I started, I felt out of place. Photography has always been my passion growing up. When I was little, I would borrow a camera phone from one of my cousins and start taking photos of things around me. In my senior year of high school when one of my good friends got this very awesome Sony camera phone (it was not a smartphone yet), she would let me use it an document our memories of senior years, per my request of course :). I used the paychecks from my very first part-time job to buy myself a DSLR and start taking photos for friends and family. So yes, it would be so much fun and exciting to start a photography business. While people spend 4 years of college trying to learn to do a job, I spent my 4 years to learn how to do a different job, not photography. I started doing wedding photography and fell in love. I fell in love with the exciting and upbeat environment of a wedding, I fell in love with the emotions that a bride goes through on her wedding date, I fell in love with how the guests dance the night away and how the wedding cakes taste just so indulging, and I fell in love with being the one to document all of that. So that was how Half A Rice Studios was born. [Houston Wedding Photographer]
I have had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember. Since a child, I was delighted in how a moment can be captured through the lens of a camera, and how time stands still within the frame of a photograph. I approach every project with professionalism and a will to deliver quality and value to my clients. I believe that exceptional photographs can only be taken in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, and so I make every effort to make sessions as enjoyable as possible and to put clients at ease. When I first used a camera, several years ago, I would never have imagined I could become a wedding photographer. Bang and I opened our first studio in Elk Grove, near Sacramento, experimenting in different styles and adapting to the needs of the local clientele. Little by little, we realized what we were looking for in our photos was emotion, which still life or classical studio photography could not offer. Real people, their expressions, their emotions, this is what we wanted to capture. Choosing wedding photography was a natural consequence, as it offers the unique opportunity to capture human emotions in all their shades I believe it is in the nature of humankind to be attracted, and sometimes, upset, by what is different from us, as in a way it represents our opposite, our contrasting personality. I never found it easy to show my emotions and my sensitivity, to express my real self and let go completely, displaying my vulnerability. I guess this is why what attracts me most in weddings: the ability to capture the emotions expressed without filters, with no fear of showing what you really are and what you are feeling. A smile, a hearty laugh, tears you’d like to hide, an emotional hug, these intimate moments fascinate and seduce me, and this is what I base my photography on. Static poses created with affected emotions are not my cup of tea; I want true spontaneity. [Sacramento Wedding Photographer]
With more than 17 years behind the camera, Robert approaches each and every wedding he photographs with a distinctive, fine art, photo-journalistic style. Fun, Relaxed, Discreet, and Professional are how client's describe their experience working with award-winning and published photographer Robert Walker. Happily married for over 20 years, Robert and his wife share their home in Dallas with their son, and their ever-playful Golden Retriever. [Dallas-Fort Worth Wedding Photographer]
Born and raised in Texas but addicted to travel and shooting small-ish, untraditional weddings all over. Husband. Father. Coffee snob. And I dig all things Seinfield related. I started working as a freelance photographer in 2002 for 2 local news papers and 1 local magazine in my hometown. That time working for those publications helped me learn how to watch and wait for moments to unfold. I approach each wedding as its own unique and original event. No preconceived plans. No cookie-cutter ideas for your wedding day. Just honest moments being photographed undisturbed. My 3 children give me lots of practice photographing life as it unfolds before me in unpredictable fashion. I believe it is in those moments that true beauty is found. That's why I don't believe that I need to try and control your wedding day, but rather let the day unfold without interruption. It's the honest moments you are going to reflect on with true emotion, not the staged and posed. Be real, because life is too short not to be. [Dallas-Fort Worth Wedding Photographer]
When I obsessively started taking tons of photos back in high-school, I never imagined that years later I would have hundreds of amazing weddings in my portfolio. I've always followed my passions, and after spending many years DJing around the world, I wanted to create art that was more original. And I fell in love with photography. Choosing to shoot such glamorous and tear-jerking weddings (no, I am not immune, either) came naturally, partly because I am a bit of a romantic myself, and because I was always drawn to people’s real emotions. I love what I do so much that sometimes I forget it's work, because it’s different every time – no two weddings, locations or couples are the same, and this makes things incredibly exciting for me. Wedding photography has taken me all around the world. I've shot in about a dozen different countries on 4 different continents and had some unforgettable experiences in remote places like Mongolia, Phuket, India, and Belgium. So no matter where your wedding is, whether it's in a village on the other side of the world, an exotic beach, or an intimate backyard wedding in NYC, I'll be there with you. Memorable Images that Will Stay with You Forever I enjoy everything about weddings, but my favorite moments to document are when couples get ready, showing genuine, real emotions. The morning always feels unlike any other part of the day. And portrait sessions, when we can get creative, possibly take an adventurous pursuit to find a unique location, and make photos that can also standalone as works of art. Despite Personal Victories I Never Cease to Strive for Perfection I feel really proud of all the awards I have won over the years for my wedding work, and the shots that have been published in national wedding magazines, but I'm most proud when I can cook a tasty dinner for friends and family without the smoke alarm going off! My Aim - Creating Outstanding Lifetime Memories Feel free to explore STAK Studios, a kaleidoscope of smiles, tears of joy, and people dressed to the nines! If you are getting married, I would be truly honored to capture your big day, so get in touch and share your vision with me. We’ll make a great team and turn your wedding into a work of art. [Manhattan Wedding Photographer]
I am a Dallas based photographer that has been trusted by grooms and brides across the United States, flying me to unique and exotic locations to shoot around the world including Scotland, Thailand and the Virgin Islands. I look forward to doing more of the same so that I can take the creative journalistic style wedding pictures that will make your friends jealous, families envious and blow your minds away. I will be on my feet, cameras to my eyes capturing every special moment of you from the time you're getting your hair ready, right on through until you say your "I Do's!" And it's not over yet...I'll be there for your first dance until the last song where you'll have to be carried out from all of the fun. Whatever happens, I'll be there to marry artful photojournalism with life, love, and laughter. My mission is to bring focused passion in photography through elegant service. [Dallas-Fort Worth Wedding Photographer]
I fell in love with photography when I was in my late teens and living in Mexico City. I always saw photography as an art and as a tool for social change. This led me to spend a couple of decades working as a freelance photojournalist covering news and feature assignments for national and international publications. After my son was born, I chose to scale back on travel. I took time off to get an MFA and started teaching at the college level, and lecturing on writing and photography. I have exhibited nationally, published a couple of novels, and I’m currently learning to play the guitar—it’s not easy! I’ve been photographing weddings for over a decade. I shoot only about a dozen weddings each year, which helps me offer a more personal service. I’m always honored by how families welcome me into their lives. I feel a great sense of responsibility to remain unobtrusive while capturing the moments that will become lifelong memories. For me, photographing a wedding is about telling a story, not just of the day itself, but of two people—and two families—coming together. I’m based in Florida’s Gulf Coast and cover weddings from Miami to Tampa at no additional charge. I’m available for destinations weddings in Mexico, the Caribbean and beyond. I’m fluent in Spanish and French. [Tampa Wedding Photographer]
Hi! I’m Alex, a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Oklahoma City. I accidentally stumbled into photography while in college... You see, I was taking an intro class simply out of necessity as an elective for my declared PR major. At the end of the semester, we were assigned to document something and tell its story with a photo essay. I redid this assignment 3 times before landing on one I liked, which was completely out of my comfort zone. I eventually received my graded project with a handwritten note that read: “I hope you continue to keep telling stories." Well, I did -- and here I am. I would later graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma with a BA in Photographic Arts, under the tutelage of two renown, innovative, and incredibly inspiring professors. Along with shooting weddings, I continue to refine my skills and knowledge by pursuing further education via conferences, lectures, and books from the greatest photography minds past and present. And although this was never my plan, I have now officially stepped into the role of educator myself. From guest teaching in a classroom setting at UCO, to demonstrating on-location posing, to speaking at conferences such as PhotoCon and Photo Expo. Let me tell you, it's probably a relief to all my friends and family that I now have an actual outlet to talk about anything photography/LR related. (I really love talking shop.) Photography is my life, and I'm continually in awe that it's also my career. Everyone wants their dream job, and I can truly say I have mine. [Oklahoma Wedding Photographer]
