We are anxious to create a picture story chronicling your unique, casual, non-traditional, small wedding from beginning to end. In this sense, it is no different from any other event that we have covered. The emphasis is on documenting key moments, capturing spontaneous displays of emotion, telling your real love story, as well as creating artistic portraits and details.

I have way too much energy, but have been told that it is contagious. I spent my childhood running around the woods and trails, and most of my adult life with my toes in the water and ass in the sand. I grew up in Western North Carolina but ended up in the culinary world prior to becoming a photographer. It took me to Florida and ultimately to Key West where I found and created my passion for photography. I love to go hiking, take a vacation to the Philippines to go surfing, then end the year in the mountains of Colorado snowboarding. I am a foodie, and growing plants and gardens are my jam. I am considered a dog whisperer. I also sang onstage at Carnegie Hall, John Ritter’s Requiem Mass to a sold-out Easter Sunday crowd! The Florida Keys and Asheville are home, where I have photographed over 260 weddings, but I still love to travel. I consider myself a global citizen. I have made trips to Steamboat Springs, Breckenridge, Washington DC, and New York for my couples, capturing every meaningful moment of their weekends. I was published in Rolling Stone. I’ve been named one of the Top 150 Wedding Photographers in the World & Top 100 Artistic Wedding Photographers in the World by the Wedding Photojournalist Association and featured on MagMod’s How I Shot It. I have an empathetic and genuine approach to every couple’s relationship. I deep dive, because that’s where the beauty is. I’ve got big energy, and I’ve got a big love for people who embrace living their day to the fullest and aren’t bothered by what mother nature throws at them! [Asheville Wedding Photographer]
Julie's fascination with photography started early. Hanging in her family home were two side-by-side portraits: one of her sister, perfectly coiffed and surrounded by carefully arranged stuffed animals; and one of Julie, tangled hair, one sock falling down and struggling to put on a pair of shoes. Julie passed those photos every day until the idea that people and character should be in photographs was as second nature as bee-bopping to ’80s music. Fast-forward fifteen years and you will meet a self-made, successful, award-winning artists who, despite her interest in all visual mediums, has devoted herself exclusively to candid moment driven photojournalistic photography in Key West. Below the bubbly surface that will charm both bride and groom is a serious professional and incredible artists. [Key West Wedding Photographer]
Since 2012 we take care of capturing the most special moments of the lives of the couple who come to us, their families and the people who make their history unique and special. We capture the extraordinary in the most daily elements for couples and their relationship with the important people for them because we believe that the most significant of the experiences lies in the mundane. On the other hand, it is important that you know that we are not going to intimidate you and your guests with giant cameras and equipment. We went unnoticed to photograph spontaneous and natural moments. We are who we are because of our work and the stories we told before, during and after the big day. We promise that when you get in touch with us, we will give you the best options for your big day. [Miranda Wedding Photographer]
I was born in Los Angeles, California (to Peruvian parents) and have lived throughout Northern and Southern Cali most of my life until about March 2011 when I decided to up & move to Lima, Peru to pursue my dream of being a full-time photographer and documenting social work in the slums of Lima. After graduating from California State University at Fullerton in 2010 with a bachelor's in Visual Communication & minor in Sociology, I attended several photojournalism workshops around the world for years including Look3 Festival of the Photograph workshops (Charlottesville, VA) and Foundry Photojournalism Workshop in Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Mexico City, BodaF in Querétaro, Mexico and Beyond [Wedding Photography] Workshop in Lima, Peru 2016 & 2017. Each of these experiences brought out a different world within me and taught me the value of photography as a tool to help us see, not only things or other people but ourselves. I’ve been photographing couples and families for over 10 years now, but falling in love and having experienced what it’s like to be the bride first-hand has changed the way that I see through my viewfinder at weddings. I am an utterly hopeless romantic and I can see and feel the love around me much more now than ever before. I get it. I offer real, emotive, and breathtaking images that capture who you truly are and all the joy you are feeling on your day. I also love to capture the behind the scenes bits, which I feel are the most interesting and telling; the pre-ceremony jitters, the anxiety in the dressing room, the sheer madness and beauty of it all. I live for these raw moments and am always ready to capture them when you least expect or even notice. Let me share my passion and years of photography experience with you. Maybe we can get a coffee together and you can tell me all about how your story began and how you want to remember it. [Miami Wedding Photographer]
