I found myself leaning into this image, much like the children seen here, who have waited for this moment that is finally here. Whew. It's time to cut the cake. That's the success of this image, that is conveys such anticipation we wait for our slice too.

Judges

Strong pictures tell the whole story in a single frame. This image did that very well. Nice focus on the groom's emotion.
This image is unexpected and I applaud the photographer for looking for less obvious (and less visual) displays of emotion. Though it's subtle, this guy really seems nervous. I like all the information in the background too.
