Rachel and Tyler originally planned to have their big dream wedding - over 100 guests, a huge bridal party, assigned tables, dance floor, the whole thing. They had already booked the Lake Tahoe Golf Course in preparation for their big wedding. Alas, the Covid-19 pandemic hit earlier this year and forced them to change their plans.
Within weeks, they had canceled all the reservations for their big wedding and pivoted to doing a family-only ceremony at the beach in South Lake Tahoe, CA. They had 25 guests in total compared to their original big wedding, and the rest of the guests watched on through a live Zoom video stream. They provided masks, hand sanitizer, and tissues for wedding favors and told everyone to "Spread Love, Not Germs". They took the news of this year and managed to turn it into a fun and heartfelt event with their family and closest friends.
