Small wedding ceremony on the beach in Corolla, Outer Banks, NC.

Teri and Michael simply wanted to elope, maybe travel to Yosemite National Park or the Grand Canyon or an exotic place like Bora Bora or the Maldives or Seychelles, and just send everyone they love an epic picture of themselves as a wedding announcement… but they also wanted their family to be able to attend because they have been their greatest support system and they didn’t feel that they would be where they are today were it not for them.

After months of searching, they discovered the idea of getting married on the beaches of the Outer Banks, a beautiful coastal destination, near enough to allow their family to attend, and the perfect setting for a small and intimate event. Following their wedding, they dedicated their honeymoon as an amazing time to travel together and gain new experiences.

Located in Duck, NC at the narrowest point of the Outer Banks, “Poseidon” is a unique and beautiful vacation home designed to provide an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean along with breathtaking sunsets over the Currituck Sound. Teri and Michael chose this incredible location as the site of their intimate wedding, sharing their vows on the beach in the late afternoon sunlight with a small group of their closest friends and family.
