With the cool winter sun shining down upon them, Rebecca and Ricc walked back to the manor house after their wedding ceremony to the sounds of a traditional Scottish bag pipe. The piper was arranged by Rebecca, who wanted to pay tribute to her Scottish heritage.

Rather than attempting to plan a large wedding in the midst of continued uncertainty, Rebecca and Ricc opted for an intimate celebration with their closest family members and friends at Bruisyard Hall in Suffolk, England. This ancestral home dates back to the 14th century, and has been used as a manor house, a convent and now, a wedding venue.

While the feel of the event was decidedly English, Rebecca wanted to pay homage to her Scottish roots as well. She arranged for a traditional Scottish piper to pipe them from their ceremony back to the main house, adding a touch of romance and whimsy to their wedding day.

The couple sprinkled personal touches throughout the entire event, but perhaps the most moving moment was when Rebecca walked down the aisle wearing the hand-stitched silk wedding gown that her own mother had worn at her wedding.
