4th place in Reception Ambiance
The WPJA contest judges presented Christian Keenan, a London, United Kingdom wedding photographer, with this Master Piece Award as recognition for top wedding photojournalism in the industry.
The leading documentary wedding photographers in the world enter their best photos to the Wedding Photojournalist Association's photography competitions. They want their wedding reportage photographs to be evaluated and selected by some of the most notable and respected working picture editors and photojournalists in the news industry (these are not wedding photographers or other WPJA members judging their work). Winning these competitions is a true accomplishment for a wedding photographer.

- Clearly a very elegant and formal wedding. I like the way the photographer captured the couple dancing outside the tent. An image that says it all beautifully - the setting, the guests and the dancing bride and groom. Nice color palette and quality of light, but the image would have benefited from a bit more technical control over the balance of light, depth of field and the motion. In other words there is more overall softness than is desirable.
