Roee arrived in New York shortly before the new millennium and quickly started working, doing what always intrigued him – photographing people. From nightclubs to theater, the challenges of working under low light and following the action provided an excellent training for what’s to come. In 2001, Roee started photographing weddings alongside some of the leading photographers in New York City. As a photographer who continually strives to produce beautiful and concise imagery, weddings appeal to Roee for their variety of photo opportunities: portraiture, candid/documentary, action, travel and more.

Roee’s style, perfected over the last decade, depicts his subjects naturally. The result is what sets him apart from other photographers - Roee’s images are precise, while still capturing the life and vibrancy of his subjects. When covering an event, Roee utilizes unique view points and shoots throughout the event for a continuous, true and realistic story telling.
His work has been featured in the New York Times, NY Post, Ha'aretz (Israeli daily) among other publications worldwide. In 2010, Roee relocated to the Twin Cities together with his wife and daughter and is having a great time exploring his new home base.
