The WPJA at a glance: The Wedding Photojournalist Association puts the best Vermont wedding photographers at your fingertips, by granting membership only to the most talented professional wedding photographers in the world--photographers who focus solely on using their documentary photography skills to capture ‘the moments’ of your wedding day.
Influenced by a background in photojournalism, I strive to not only make beautiful and creative photographs from your wedding, but photos that capture the real emotion, candid moments, and unique personality of your special day.
Since moving to Vermont in 2012, I have photographed over 100 weddings with my husband. Together we work together to photograph your wedding in a documentary style, capturing the moments that make up your day.
I'm a second-generation wedding photographer, living out my dream of documenting community in the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire and photographing unique weddings around New England.
Joe Brier earned an MS degree in Photojournalism from Syracuse University in 2004. Since that time, Joe has worked as a staff photographer for a daily newspaper in Northern Virginia and produced content for various publications throughout the country.
