Young Photographer Discovers Passion, Starts Successful Business

Hello, I'm Benjamin and I welcome you to my photographic universe!

I am a young Dwarven, I have always lived in my little village which has seen me walk, grow, learn, and laugh ... By nature to frolic everywhere around my home, I know every little nook of the forest, every little path as long as I surveyed them and photographed them.

Is holding! Let's talk about it, how did photography come into my life?

It's an altogether banal story, when I entered 6th grade I spent a lot of time on YouTube watching various content, each more or less interesting than the other (I was young, don't blame me... ). This is how I naturally wanted to make my own videos that I could post on YouTube!

So I saved up a whole year to buy my first camera, a Canon EOS 600D which did me great service and without which I wouldn't be where I am today!

Little by little, I turned more and more towards photography, abandoning YouTube videos for nocturnal photo outings, or hunting for my first photos of dragonflies!

It was at the age of 16 that I participated in my first photo contest at the French Photographic Federation (FPF). The latter organized in Cognac, I took part in the “Color Paper Image” category, which I won against people with 15 to 30 years of more photo practice than me.

This competition made me aware of the legitimacy that I should have for my work and gave me a huge boost for the rest of my career.

In 2020, when the Covid 19 burst into all of our lives and we all found ourselves caulked at home, I took the opportunity to ask myself what I really wanted in my near future and if I was really thriving. in the formation in which I was.  The answer is no. So I made the decision to leave the General Baccalaureate in which I was launched by applying to integrate a Professional Photography Baccalaureate in Tours, which I integrated with flying colors!

It was a trigger for me because I was able to meet people and spend moments that changed my life and my vision of photography. And at the same time the two best school years of my life. I felt in my place and in an area that I appreciated more than anything! This in part contributed to the fact that I obtained my training with honors VERY GOOD!

It was during my various internships that I was able to rub shoulders with photography professionals from all walks of life and this really pushed me to start my own business. Indeed, I already have 7 years of experience in photography and a very solid technical background that allows me to professionalize myself and live fully from my passion!

From now on, I am a happy man who lives from his passion at 20 years old, and that is priceless!
