Getting Married in Wisconsin

Wisconsin is located in north central portion of the United States, surrounded by two of the five Great Lakes, Lake Superior and Michigan, and borders the states of Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan and Illinois. You will find a variety of cities to choose from to host your wedding festivities, from Green Bay and Kenosha to the capital city of Madison and the largest city in the state, Milwaukee.

With over 46% of the state covered by forestry, couples have no trouble getting wedding pictures taken of them with a backdrop of vast greenery surrounding them. Your wedding photographer will be able to use areas of natural beauty to enhance your wedding photographs; from the rivers of Wisconsin—the Mississippi River, St. Croix River, the Montreal River and the Menominee River—to the thousands of glacial lakes scattered across the state. Famous for cheese production and breweries, Wisconsin also offers a great deal of entertainment options to help bring in family fun to surround your wedding celebration. In addition, the state is known for its famous Green Bay Packers football team, the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team and the Bucks basketball team, giving you possible entertainment options along with great restaurants to choose from. Weddings are certainly memorable in Wisconsin, and you’ll be sure to have them captured by your highly skilled wedding photojournalist.
