In 1997 I started shooting weddings as an assistant while in college for photojournalism. I will honestly admit I never wanted to shoot weddings and stopped assisting in 2001. In 2004, I and three of my friends each got married. After going through the experience as a groom and shooting my friends weddings, I started looking at the wedding process differently.
