Bio: A US native, Elizabeth first visited the Yucatan Peninsula during a semester abroad though Michigan State University; never expecting to establish roots and family ties as a permanent resident of Mexico. A creative and artistic photographer, Elizabeth has had many gallery shows of her fine art work during the past decade, ranging from Polaroid transfers to hand made silver gelatin prints. Although well known and respected as a fine art portrait photographer, Elizabeth now specializes only in wedding photojournalism.
Photographing throughout Mexico in locations as diverse as historic haciendas and incredible beaches in places as far flung as the Maya Rivera, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta, she rejoices in focusing on the unique moments that make each couple and event incomparable. In order to give each couple and wedding her full attention, Elizabeth accepts a limited number of commissions each year and photographs each event personally. As a member of two cultures, Elizabeth is well versed in the customs and traditions of both traditional Mexican weddings and international destination weddings, and is very fluent in both English and Spanish.
