Opting for simplicity over grandeur, Zontee and Hardien eloped on the shores of the East River underneath the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO, a neighborhood in the borough of Brooklyn in New York City. While a handful of close friends and relatives were able to witness the outdoor ceremony in person, the rest of their family overseas were able to watch it virtually via a live stream.
