What’s better than getting married on the beach? How about having the reception on the beach as well—late-night beach party style!
Megan first went to Costa Rica in 2004 when she visited with her high school rotary club to donate and deliver wheelchairs to schools and families in small towns.
She left the country enamored with the people, the culture, the pace of life, and, of course, the rainforest. Ever since then, she has always wanted to return and take Anthony with her. So, naturally, they decided to visit and see if Costa Rica might be a possible venue for their wedding.
It was love at first sight when they arrived at the lobby of Arenas del Mar. Without even seeing the beach or the rest of the hotel, they knew this was the perfect spot for them and 20 of their closest family members and friends.
A beach reception feels like a late-night beach party, but you need to know how to dress it up. The wooden tables and chairs set the stage and the quaint dessert cart was a nice touch. What really decked out the party, however, was the tent covered in hundreds of tiny little lights. They added a special glow to the reception that was simply stunning.
