  • If the gaze between the bride and groom wasn’t enough to produce some sizzle, add the blare of a sax and some gorgeous flair that encapsulates both gaze and blare.
  • This photo was by far and away the best of the category. A nice moment beautifully accentuated by the creative use of light.

WPJA contest judges have been recognized by their industry peers, winning top awards as staff picture editors, staff photojournalists, and newsroom mentors while working for these and other leading publications and journalism organizations.
