      • Simple yet elegant. Getting out of a car, who thought that would make a great picture? The photographer noticed the blue shoe, and caught this image at just the right moment, where the action is still anticipated. Nicely done! Someone is paying attention to their surroundings.
      • What makes this photo work is the decisive moment, one hand on the door and one hand reaching for her. Her foot placement is perfect. It does not hurt that there was soft light and she was wearing a blue shoe!
      • In this image, all you see at first is the shoe. Upon closer look, there’s a complexity within the scene. There’s a second detail here…the triad of hands, all doing something.

      • The light seems to whisper to us through the delicate form and subtle arcs of the gown’s fabric. It is natural and graceful like the eddies that gather fallen leaves from the river’s current, wrapping themselves into circular shape that seems to go nowhere - until moments later when they have rejoined the stream. In short, this image evokes a form of visual poetry as light and shadow co-mingle with undaunted grace.
