  • Expression speaks volumes even when human is not your native tongue. Tonal range works to blend the bride and her slightly embarrassed pooch into one attire in which the fur seems part of the fabric of her dress.

  • Very atmospheric and lyrical feeling. Nice even light with a nice moment. Captured a nice natural moment. A nice casual portrait in an interesting setting. The dog running alongside is nice. A sweet moment that is perfectly timed with each person, and the dog, in an active stride.

Judges

  • It's one of those images where everything adds to the image, and because of the angle the photographer took, all of the details are included. The shoes, the dog, the flowers spread around, and the composition all helped to make this shot of the sleeping young boy.
  • Two sleepyheads mirror one another in this beautiful, sensitive image. The photo has strong compositional elements that speak to the relationship between boy and dog.
