WPJA Contests: From Fee To Free

WPJA Contests:
From Fee to Free

WPJA membership is now more valuable than ever before. While other companies are busy trying to figure out ways to reduce costs during these tough economic times, the WPJA has just added more membership benefits! The WPJA is proud to announce its move from fee-based contests to free contests. Beginning Q1 '09, all members will receive 40 FREE contest credits (valued at $400 USD) to be used for the Q1 through Q4 contests. These changes will give every member an opportunity to enter the quarterly contests without an increase in spending. Since page ranking on the WPJA site is based on contest participation and success, every member will be given an equal opportunity to see their listings rise to the top of their home state, additional, and Destination Wedding listing pages. Any contest credits currently in your WPJA bank can be used toward membership renewal or extra listings.

Best of the Best

Show your potential clients that your images are the best of the best! Enter your work for evaluation by our prestigious panel of judges including award-winning photojournalists, picture editors and directors of photography at the world's most recognized newspapers and publications. They are also the best of the best! There are over 30 Pulitzer Prize winners/finalists and 2 Pulitzer Prize Jurors in our list of past WPJA judges.

Founded and focused on the documentation of weddings in a candid, unobtrusive style, the WPJA will continue to assess its policies to ensure the organization remains the best and true to our founding mission. Please visit WPJA.com to learn more about the 2009 Quarterly Contests, read the bios of our judging panels and review past award-winning images.
