This is a good portrait of a wedding party which uses shallow depth of field and composition to let us know who the groom is. (I hope. If he isn't the guy in the middle, then the photographer should re-think the image.) It's worth noting how using depth of field can still allow a viewer to differentiate between elements even when they are all so similar.

Postcard perfect. This is a fun idea that I'm sure the couple loved. My only criticism of this image is that a slightly tighter crop would have helped.

This is a good combination of slow shutter speed and flash exposure to bring out the church and the stars. The photographer obviously thought ahead before making this image. The only thing that troubles me about this, however, is how bright the church entrance is.

There were a lot of great portraits. This image offered a quiet yet unconventional composition which added to a feeling that this couple is together in their own, special world for this instant.

I went back and forth on this one and finally decided that I liked it alot. Great shot. and the red against the clouds just works. I also don't know exactly how the photographer did it and I like that. There's a mystery to this shot and if I were the bride I would love this shot.

Fun use of the surfboard. The image captures a sense of where the wedding is being held.

This is a fun idea for a portrait of this couple. there are lots of problems inherent with images through glass, but this photographer has succeeded in limiting reflection, and pulled off a fun and memorable image.

Running...emotion...fun...energy...all into one...when they can't remember this will help spur them to remember what it was like to be young or somewhat young. Dont think that it's put together as well as some of the other pictures, but I liked the energy and feeling.

This one is fun. Very set up, but that can be hard with such little time and this works. The dress looks great in this shot, but to me it's graphic, but lacks a certain emotion.

This portrait uses camera angle to help make it simple, and all about the subjects. The photographer gets credit for understanding how to control his background using the high angle, and then how to even use the reflection as a framing element for the couple. This is a beautiful portrait with a great feel.

It's hard to capture couples this relaxed. There's a timeless quality in their expressions.

Great mood and composition. Photograph creates a feeling of heading into the future together and would be a nice ender to the day's story line.

COMMENTS: It's important to use humor whenever you can but it's hard to pull off. Well done.
