The slow shutter speed really adds a sense of drama and intensity to the scene, elevating it above numerous other really great photos of people getting pelted with petals/rice/bubbles/rain when leaving the church. Kudos to the photographer for taking a chance on something different.

Beautiful picture, great framing and composition. The movement on the headdress just completes the frame in a very poetic way.

I love the fact that it feels like the photographer is in the car with the bride, which gives us the chance to see the wedding day through their eyes. The framing through the car window is perfect.
It all comes together in this picture with the bride and her girls framed so nicely from the perspective of inside the car.

This is just so quirky and funny. His eyes draw me in and make the frame for me.

I like the light and the expressions on their faces.

Capturing that look on the bride's face was almost enough to get this image to first place for me. This is an image the couple is so lucky to have and it will always be a treasure for them to look back on. The light coming across her face is icing on the cake! Well done.

The sheer fun and happiness is directly communicated by the photographer getting in so close in this picture. It’s a very simple and full frame.

There were a lot of pictures of people throwing paper or flowers after the ceremony. But this picture for me has a good composition, nice light and the gestures of all the people in it.

I assume it's the father of the bride wiping away a tear, in which case, it's a beautiful example of looking on the edges of the scene for a great moment. Catching the bride walking by just brings all the elements together in such a nice story-telling way. To me this is what sets apart a photojournalist from a photographer.

Clearly this was a fun wedding and this picture really captures that playfulness.

Simple, lovely image off of the main ceremony that captures a quiet pensive atmosphere. Weddings are not all big laughs and booze. Beautiful.

Beautiful image of the bride framed by the groomsmen. The stark, high contrast tones of the brides face and the deep blacks of the tuxedos help make this graphic image rise above many similar photos.

I don’t have too much to say about this picture, just that I really like it. It is very well composed and the mirror on the table is just more than perfect.

I just love the simple beauty of this frame. Nitpicking, I wish the dove that the bride tossed up was caught a half a second earlier against the nice dark backdrop of the open church doors (like the groom's which really helps it pop!).
