3rd place in Details (Found)
The WPJA contest judges presented Kathi Robertson, a Ontario, Canada wedding photographer, with this Master Piece Award as recognition for top wedding photojournalism in the industry.
The leading documentary wedding photographers in the world enter their best photos to the Wedding Photojournalist Association's photography competitions. They want their wedding reportage photographs to be evaluated and selected by some of the most notable and respected working picture editors and photojournalists in the news industry (these are not wedding photographers or other WPJA members judging their work). Winning these competitions is a true accomplishment for a wedding photographer.

- A very creative photo. I liked that the photographer saw something a little different here. The body language of the older man is nice and the projection gives the photo a surreal quality. These are the kinds of photos that the trained eye brings to the wedding day over the amateur.
- I had to look at this several times to figure it out. What appears to be a strange jacket is actually something quite different. A prime example of seeing a detail. It’s very interesting, as the slideshow has become the man’s apparel. It makes you think and it delivers a punchline.
