  • I really like the moment and the composition in this photograph. Most photographs of the wedding couple on the dais are messy. There is often too much clutter in either the foreground of the background to get a clean shot. But this photogapher didn't have that problem. Or if he did, it isn't evident from this photograph. The moment in this image is a very good one. The bride is leaning in strongly from the left. Her husband is in the center with his arm around the young man seated next to him. The young man is smiling brightly and looking straight ahead. The bride and groom are looking straight into his eyes with strong admiration. You can tell they are very fond of him. Behind them is a mirror, which reflects the wedding party seated at their tables. That is an added touch which helps give the viewer a feel for the room and the couple. This is a formal wedding. Because of the attractive, seemingly well-off couple, it feels somewhat “Kennedyesque.”
