Some pictures are so close to being at the top of the category, but something is missing. In this case it's a photograph that has it all, flower pedals floating all around and a couple caught in the moment. Right lens, good angle, but their eyes are closed and although it feels like the timing is a little off, it still rose to one of the best images in the mix.

Here we go again, another image I kept looking forward to revisiting. A really simple moment, but the expression, the veil shooting out of the frame, the nice background all add up to a very nice image.

Great expression, funny moment and nice use of color. I really like this moment. The broad sky and big landscape are tamed by her great laugh, then you work for a second on realizing what is making her laugh..a little intimate moment that makes this couple feel all that more human.

Now this is action! Very nice light, nice moment and framing. The sun in the background isn't overpowering - instead it enhances what is going on in the foreground. The long shadow caused by the adult in the picture helps to bring your eye back into the center of the frame. There are a lot of good things happening in this picture

The light, color, framing and non-interest of the bridesmaids lifted this image. The couple is gliding through the frame and three bridesmaids looking out the window. It has a sense of place but something more and the photographer captured that delightfully.

Carrying the bride around the dance floor seems straightforward and easy to record, but it's not and doing it with movement and filling the frame perfectly takes timing and grace which make this a really nice frame.

Another one of those really simple, yet complex, images that has a lot going for it. The bridesmaids tapering out of the photo on the left forces the eye to the already obvious..the couple on the steps. The lighting is gorgeous, the moment is perfect, the structuring of the image is great

There were a couple of groom leaping in the air and many couples who caught lots of air. The tilting of the frame, just outside the limo and the spontaneity of the leap make this a genuine moment caught at the peak moment. It is the definition of action and was better than some other peak leaps.

I like the framing of this image. Even though the bride is out of focus, you can tell clearly what is going on. The action in the background is a nice fun moment. Great layering, great timing, nice job.

What seems like a basic overall of the church exterior is made extra special by the little high-fiving moment going on in the front of the church. A nice stroke of luck for the photographer, by adding a moment to an overall. Good stuff.

This picture is a nice result of a windy day, which would normally be quite annoying when you're trying to shoot a normal picture. However, in this situation, it creates a nice moment, with a bit of humor. Nicely shot, stepping back a few feet to include more of the surrounding areas

This is one of those moments you hope for…and everything is going nicely in this image. The light on the wall, and on her smile, forces your eye into the center where it can follow the action to the glass and his wet face

Leaning over a table to offer a congratulatory hug, and in-law caught in the middle has a wonderful expression on her face, and the photographer captured it wonderfully.

The slow shutter speed adds movement. This kind of dancing photo can be difficult to do well. This one has nice expressions, composition and color.

The drops coming out of the groom's glass really makes this picture a winner. Without that, it would be just a simple standard picture - but with it, it is special. A bit of luck and a lot of good timing makes this a success.
