I know the feeling, little dude. Something's not quite right with your fashion, and the girls will make sure to point it out. That's why I like this picture - it reminds me of days when my fashion was not quite right. A nice moment caught, and I wish these pictures had captions attached so I could learn more about what they've decided to point out.

Next to children dancing, kids sleeping was available at every wedding. What's different or better about this frame? It is the simplicity, the child looks like she's floating and her dress is perfectly fanned out on the sofa, a dark sofa which contrasts perfectly with her white dress. Impeccable technical quality and a dreamlike frame in a tough category.

If you don't look closely, you could miss the really great moment happening in the lower left corner of this picture. Because the little boy's face is turned and we see his profile, it makes this picture really complete. If he was looking straight ahead, it wouldn't be nearly as strong.

A good example of shooting on the edges.

The tilting of the frame cleaned this image up, so that the focus of the frame is the distinct personality of the overly proud little girl in her finery. I'm not just awarding the personality of the girl, because it's not that he/she shot this moment, it's the way he/she shot it that makes it so high in the category.

Who's getting married here?? This one grabbed me due to the image looking like it was the bride and groom, and the best man who lost the hand of his desired bride.

If there is one aspect of the images that leaps out at me, it's clean framing. But when other elements are added like mood and expression as in this picture you have a simple, yet powerful frame of a child holding flowers on a beach.

The shear joy of the girls running captures both the exuberance of youth and the happiness of the event. Had it been tighter with the children in the foreground as the procession strolled behind them, it could have risen higher.

Getting close, getting personal. Great composition with an equally strong crop.

The photographer was able to document rather than be a distraction as this little girl is dressed up like a little doll. It is hard to photograph children because they often times give you that half-smile stare. This photographer was able to be a fly on the wall.

Yet another nice moment happening here. I am a sucker for real original moments, and this sure is one.

Great composition away from the main crowd.

This is a cute picture of a nice moment. I think the woman's hand on the child's head is a subtle, but key component contributing to the success of this image.

Isn't this one of the reasons we create these elaborate ceremonies of marriage, to create iconic images that appear in our mind's eye when we think of weddings? This is a great example of creating a memory with a still image. A beautiful photo.
