Photographer Captures Couples' Unique Love in Captivating Images

I'm a photographer and fine art framer originally from a small farm town on the western edge of Southwestern PA. After temporary moves to New York City, Minneapolis, and Los Angeles, I returned to the Rust Belt to settle in Wilkinsburg, a borough just outside Pittsburgh city limits. I first developed an interest in photojournalism as a child from reading local and national newspapers at home and at the library. The candid, truthful, and potent images I saw in those publications were instantly appealing to me. I love the intimacy and intense emotions inherent to weddings, which are my favorite events to photograph. I place an emphasis on spontaneous, unposed documentary-style photos which together tell a coherent story of the day as it truthfully unfolds. My work has been published in several outlets, including WESA.com, The Pittsburgh Current, The Pittsburgh City Paper, and The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. I have contributed photography for nonprofits such as PA Women Work, the refugee resettlement organizations AJAPO and NAMS, and the theatre companies Throughline, The Vagrancy, and The Summer Company at Duquesne University. In addition to photography and framing, I'm an actor, improv performer, and occasional standup comic.
