Behind-The-Scenes Wedding Photography Captures Unforgettable Moments
Documentary-style allows my couples to get "behind the scenes" of their own wedding. I enrolled in college as a young artist where I learned how to create and critique art, which would later become the foundation for my photography career. After graduating in 2008, I took an internship as a photojournalist at The Valley News Dispatch--now known as Trib Total Media--where I fell in love with visual storytelling and the year I shot my first wedding. I spent 8 years working for the newspapers—during the week I was shooting assignments full-time and shooting weddings on my weekends. In 2015, I decided to focus 100% of my energy on weddings. I took what I loved most about photojournalism and carried it to my wedding photography. My appreciation for art taught me composition and awareness of light, and the skills I developed as a photojournalist trained me to document candid moments with ease. I combine these elements in fun ways to help you relax in front of the camera and capture your personality, not poses. I reside in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania in Butler County but I am willing to travel to document your milestone event, whatever or wherever it may be.
