I don't like having my picture taken. So, if you feel a bit awkward having your photo taken, I feel your pain. I have been photographing weddings and events for nearly 20 years, and I always aim to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible throughout the process (before, during, and after the wedding day).
My vision is influenced by my background in the performing arts (music and theater), and my photography career sprang from that background (photographing live music/band and theatrical performances). After snapping pictures at the weddings of some friends in the late 1990s, I developed a true passion for wedding photography. Now I shoot between 25-30 weddings per year, and my work has been featured in The Knot Magazine as well blogs like Style Me Pretty, Wedding Chicks, Snippet & Ink, Brooklyn Bride, and Rock & Roll Bride. My non-wedding work has been shown in galleries and shows as well as being featured in international art publications.

You and your entire crew were so phenomenal yesterday. Thank you so much for all your help and being so dedicated and helpful and cheerful and energetic. When the weather opened up out of nowhere, it was a shock and I didn't see how the day was going to turn around. But you guys made it so nice and put so much effort into getting us the shots we were hoping for despite the curveball. I just wanted to extend a big thank you and let you know how much we appreciated it.

"I know I say I’m happy with (the pictures), but to be more specific: What I appreciate about them is their playfulness, both in the subject’s attitudes and the way you captured the images. Your artistic taste, and the way you intuitively captured each little moment, brings the emotions of the day back to me every time I look at them. Even people who weren’t there tell me they feel like they are there when looking at the pictures. And your artistic shots are absolutely beautiful. They are all deserving of being made into large-sized wall-hung displays of art. I am so proud to show off these photographs. The quality reminds me of a photo spread from some haut couture designer’s magazine shoot. So thanks again for the incredible job you did for us!" George G. ( father of the bride )
