Rick you are unbelievably great. Your images are stunning, and you caught them all without interrupting the wedding at all. All of our images are beautifully composed. These are all artbook shots, without a hint of cheese anywhere! I have many loves about the entire experience with you. Here are but a few: I love how you are a true photojournalist, not interrupting anything, ever! Many photogs claim to be photojournalists but then make you re-do the ring exchange after the ceremony. Our shots are all true and very special moments captured as they actually happened. And I love how flexible you are in working out options for us that we could afford. Thank you for that! And finally, I love the fact that you love shooting. You stayed through the whole party and dare I say looked like you were having fun. Dear Rick, I have one word to describe you and Cheryl: amazing! Photography was by far the most important aspect of our wedding and I spent months researching photographers for our destination wedding in Mexico. We wanted to capture the true essence of our day in a photojournalistic and modern style. You guys were absolutely the perfect fit! Not only are you an extraordinarily talented artist, but you and Cheryl have such amazing energy! Rick, once we decided on a location for our wedding, our immediate priority was to find a photographer with a fresh, journalistic approach. Our overriding requirement was to find someone that would be able to capture the slightly off-kilter nature of a destination wedding, and not simply take formulaic wedding shots that happen to have palm trees in the background. After searching through literally hundreds of online portfolios, our decision was instantly made as soon as we encountered the first picture on your site. It may be true that a picture is worth a thousand words, but in your case, the number is much, much higher. Rick, you magically encapsulated the entirety of our emotion and experience into pictures. Your visual style is nothing short of jaw-dropping. The thing we appreciated most was how you were immediately able to insinuate yourself within our group - so much so that a few people asked us if you were an invited guest with a nice camera. :) Yet you remained constantly vigilant for the next photo-op. This split personality allowed you to unobtrusively be omnipresent throughout the weekend - you didn't miss a shot! And you quickly sussed out our personalities and milieu, and were able to capture both. You were such a part of the crowd that we missed you when you left - it felt like the show was over! Thanks again. Lauren and Keith Sorting through our photos is incredibly difficult, because each one indelibly captures a moment and a memory, and we're loathe to leave even a single one out.
