It is important to me that I can be honest and authentic with others. Everyone is unique and shouldn't have to bend or pretend for others. I also look for this honesty in photography and celebrate real goosebump moments in life.
When I started my photography journey, I thought of myself as an introvert and was mainly drawn to architecture & landscape. But then I got braver and started to experience what it means to capture people, their emotions and their stories. I guess you can say I fell in love - and I haven't looked back since!
In addition to photography, I am a passionate craftsman! Construction sites in and around the house are my jam and I love creating tangible things with my hands. After the project is before the next project, right? I prefer to leave the cooking to my husband though.
I'm practically a Bavarian in exile because I don't like beer or white sausages.
Sport and I have always had a difficult relationship. It only sparked when I was dancing – from Ballroom to Latin to Lindy Hop, that's my world.
When I imagine a place to recharge my batteries, it's somewhere with a view of the sea. The sound of the surf, a good coffee in hand - or a glass of wine, depending on the time of day.
