I was the WPJA's top placed "UK" Wedding Photographer in the 2009 competition and the first ever UK photographer to finish in the top three of the WPJA's International Photographer of the Year competition in that same year. My ethos is to document weddings by simply observing and anticipating moments as they happen throughout the day and to deliver an honest and emotive narrative. This approach enables my couples and their guests to get on and enjoy the wedding without worrying about the photography taking over. Based out of Loughborough, Leicestershire, I'm ideally placed to shoot weddings all over the UK. [Leicestershire Wedding Photographer]

Hi, I'm Nick originally from Liverpool but now based out of Lincoln where I live with my partner and two young daughters. Photography started as a hobby for me nearly 11 years ago photographing mostly landscapes, cityscapes & architecture. Whilst I was still serving in the Royal Marines I began the journey into weddings by second shooting and then when I had gained enough experience I decided to take the plunge and start my own Wedding Photography business. I love to shoot weddings in a totally candid, documentary-style not only capturing the emotion of the day but also the FUN and lots of it! Although I'm based in Lincolnshire I also shoot weddings throughout the UK and Europe. [Lincolnshire Wedding Photographer]

Hi there! I'm Andy a documentary wedding photographer based in sunny Nottingham in the UK. I've tried a few different jobs in my time, it all started as a drum teacher; having played the drums for around 15 years. After that, it was an accountant for a long 13 years... In 2014, I shot my first wedding, and like most wedding photographers, it was a friend's wedding. I did all my research; I did all the planning, I completed the youtube university degree on wedding photography by watching days and days of wedding photography tutorials. But, I realised after my first wedding that I didn't want to be a 'traditional wedding photographer' I didn't want to spend hours and hours waiting for Uncle John to come back from the bar so we can get yet another family formal group shot. My calling is documenting the wedding day as a guest, to give my couples a view of their wedding, which is unique. Yes, there will also ways be the odd groups shot here or there, but for 99% of a wedding day, I'm there as a guest capturing all the wedding moments that the Bride and Groom would never see. Photographing weddings takes up so much of my life, I live and breathe it every single day. I never stop thinking about pictures of weddings and the excitement about the next wedding. When I do have spare time, I'm either out running or out walking the dog - Rufus who is a fox red Labrador, but even then - I'm always thinking about weddings. Hopefully, this little snippet gives you an idea about me and I can guarantee that I will not be climbing up a ladder to organise your wedding guests into a heart shape, to get a group shot! Hi Ian, What a day!! Can't believe it has been and gone, it seems like only a blink of an eye that it was the day before the wedding... Thank you so, so much for your time and hard work on Friday making sure you captured everything and that things went smoothly...your head must hurt by the end of the day from watching and anticipating moments; you're so clever how you ensure you capture everything. I was trying not to watch you but it was fascinating to see!! Aside from taking photos, it was lovely to spend the day with you! You're so lovely and such good fun, one of my all time favourite moments was Mark's catalogue pose in the garden!! Oh and laughing when you got the licking the suit moment! Thanks for making us feel so comfortable and at ease. I really had a great morning with the team, it really makes all the difference and sets the tone for the rest of the day. Thanks for all the little things which really helped: putting my mind at ease with my silly hair worries, constantly telling me the time when I felt nervous when it was getting to crunch time, chatting to my mum, helping to fetch things, advice with questions (from all angles!) from the bridal party, oh and finding that all important hair grip on the floor - incredible! ...filling me in on how the lads were... you fitted in a treat, I hope we weren't too mad for you! Everyone thought you were great! Especially my Mum, bless her. So sorry I put the extra pressure on you re the Dad reaction photo, looking back I should have just gone with the flow but at the time thought it was so important to have that one downstairs. I hope you understand. It's weird looking back knowing your day was perfect those things really do fall into insignificance, agh!! It was such a special moment for me being able to walk up to him and see his face, something I'll remember and cherish forever. Thanks for putting up with me!!! Thanks so much for keeping everything running to schedule (I know it was tough at times) and for staying as late as you did. It was sad seeing you go because it hit home that it was very nearly over! I'm so pleased with how the day went though, it really was perfect, so thank you so, so much for everything you did for us on Friday which extends beyond your incredible photography. So, as everyone always says, we can't wait to see the photos! (Take your time, no pressure!) We hope you enjoyed our wedding day too... Thanks so much for everything, Jen and Mark
