Munster and Tipperary wedding photography by Enda Guerin of Ireland

I’m a photographer based in Tipperary, Ireland. I photograph in a friendly, relaxed natural photo-documentary style. I still do the formal/traditional stuff but aim to keep it as brief as possible so you're not being dragged around all day doing awkward posing, giving you more time to mingle with your guests. Being passionate about photography helps me capture the moments that matter to you, your family and your friends. I’m always looking for ways to improve my photography and myself. I feel we should try to remain open to ways of improving ourselves either through our work or on other aspects of our selves. I shoot using both natural ambient light and I also use flash when I feel the situation requires it, although when using flash I try not to make it seem apparent as this helps me maintain my own preferred style and feel for images that I like to produce. I’m available for weddings and elopements all over Ireland. I'm also available for destination weddings abroad. I work with couples from all backgrounds and cultures. Whatever your ethnicity or orientation is, is irrelevant, capturing genuine emotion and love between people is what’s more important to me. Outside of photography, my other interests are cooking, travel, keeping fit and the occasional Netflix binge. [Tipperary Wedding Photographer]

Limerick documentary wedding photography by Jamie Gillies - Munster and Ireland Pro

-A wedding photographer who loves the reportage-style. -I will happily travel to photograph for you, in fact, the more adventurous the location, the more I’m up for it! -I recently moved from my home of 30+ years in Kent and now find myself in county Limerick, Ireland! -Normally people say they love things, but I’m going to say I just really like traveling, hiking, football, and photography. -Recently joined a band as the bassist. It’s just a bit of fun. We recently did an 80’s themed Gig, I went in a Miami Heat style suit. -I have a YouTube Channel! It’s me rambling on about landscape photography. Some may say its award-winning, most (ok everyone) will say its unwatchable. [Limerick Wedding Photographer]

Ireland and Dublin documentary wedding photography by Gareth McGaughey of Leinster

I'm a documentary wedding photographer living in North Leinster, Ireland. I have been shooting weddings since 2012 and adore capturing the unique stories that play out at every wedding. I feel very lucky to be given the task of documenting such a big day in a couple's life and creating a piece of history for them and future generations to look through. I aim for honest, timeless images that not only remind you of how your wedding day looked but also how it felt. Quietly observing and capturing the day as it unfolds, I let moments happen organically and without direction. This approach allows couples to be completely absorbed in their day and embrace all the joy and emotion that it brings, rather than it becoming a scripted photo shoot. [Dublin Wedding Photographer]

Photo of the Bride & Groom with the guests caught in the rain running for cover.
You will be told some traditions — Hindu, Maltese — consider rain a good omen on a wedding day. You will be told a wet knot is harder to untie. You may — correctly — think that if the two of you can face the day's elements with aplomb and grace, you're more likely to face life's challenges with strength and flexibility. The truth is, you can plan for the possibility of rain on your wedding day . (If it's an outdoor wedding and depending on the climate, in...Read more
Wedding Photography of Parents - ceremony image showing the handover by the father of the bride to the groom
In the 1950 classic film Father of the Bride , George, played by Spenser Tracy, watches his daughter Annie, played by Elizabeth Taylor, take her wedding vows and says to himself, “I realized at that moment that I was never going to come home again and see Annie at the top of the stairs. Never going to see her again at our breakfast table in her nightgown and socks...Annie was all grown up and leaving us, and something inside began to hurt.” The scene may be fiction, but the emotion behind it is...Read more
Philippe Swiggers, of , is a wedding photographer for Puglia
While wedding party stereotypes still exist, most people realize there’s more to being a bridesmaid than looking beautiful, more to being a groomsman than adding life and excitement to the reception party. But even the bride and groom might not fully understand just how helpful these roles can be, long after the train is bustled and the speeches are given. With a little direction (and not that much effort), members of the wedding party can facilitate great wedding photojournalism —a favor that...Read more

Obviously, the emotional aspect of a wedding isn’t just about the love between the bride and groom. Family plays an important...Read more
Wedding Photograph taken as bridesmaids see bride in her dress for the first time and showing their reactions
To document the best moments of a wedding day, a photographer shouldn’t only focus on the bride and groom , or even on the main event. "Reaction shots," which record the reactions of guests observing the wedding’s activities as they occur, add an invaluable dimension to the visual record of the festivities. “I was constantly given a gentle reminder to look beyond the obvious action while covering sports assignments while on staff at The Hartford Courant newspaper,...Read more
