I’m a moment junkie. I studied Journalism in college and I once was a journalist based in Seoul, including for The Associated Press. I strongly believe that the absolute best way to re-live the most special day is by looking at your photos of real moments and emotions. Both my academic and professional backgrounds have influenced my documentary and photojournalistic wedding and elopement photos. And these timeless and priceless photos define who we are and nothing makes me more thrilled than documenting our lives as they are. Life is a series of moments, and those moments are fleeing away from us instantly; that is why photography is incredibly powerful and important to our lives, and I feel extremely honored to be part of every moment. I do what I do, coming from my heart, passion, and love. I love listening to all kinds of music nonstop. I love eating/cooking food - especially noodle soups. I lived in Panama for about 6 years when I was a kid. But my Spanish is really embarrassing. I visited the most secluded country North Korea twice when I was a reporter. I love wandering around and reading books about why we are the way we are. [Los Angeles Wedding Photographer]
I grew up in New York, studied film and photography at Montana State University and spent five years as a newspaper photographer in Montana, New Mexico, and Colorado. Since 2005, I’ve been photographing weddings full time, traveling a lot and falling in love with color photography and Mexico. An old friend once said that "reality is more creative than I am." I love this! It took me a while to learn that my role as a photographer isn't about me or impressing other photographers. It's about the people and places I photograph and capturing what's real, not directed or trendy. Reality, whether pretty or not, is always the most beautiful. I don't use couples as props to win photo contests and will never tell you what to do or where to do it. I want to make art about you! [San Diego Wedding Photographer]
Shaun grew up studying film and television with the dream of becoming a director. He graduated college with six production certificates and his bachelor’s degree in communications. Shortly after his college graduation, Shaun put the video camera down and picked up a DSLR. He was constantly looking for something to photograph. Something with meaning, a purpose. He shot his first wedding in 2009 and never picked up a video camera again. Shaun lived in NYC for 7 years with his wife Keri and their two dogs. They now reside in San Diego, CA. Shaun is very humble about how he makes his living and is honored everytime he is chosen to photograph a wedding. [San Diego Wedding Photographer]
Kristina knew she wanted to be a photographer since before she knew how a camera works. She ruined countless rolls of film as a child because she wanted to take photos but had no idea how to operate a camera. Luckily for you, her passion for photography continued on into her professional career. Her idea of a perfect day is being in a beach house in Baja with friends and family eating Mexican food and sipping on margaritas. She loves being a wife to Eric and mother to their little boy and girl, [San Diego Wedding Photographer]
Being more confident standing behind the camera and creating the stories than writing, I could only help you to understand more about my philosophy about photography. I always believe photographs were a way to "freeze" cherished moments and memories. I think that they cannot be reproduced, and without a camera, they would be gone forever. So, every day, I pursue the love of photography and have learned new ways to see the world through lenses. Presently, I decided to build a milestone in my journey by offering service as a wedding documentary photographer to clients! I look forward to showing them my unique perspective in capturing their precious moments and memories as a way to preserve them for years to come. My journey continues, and I hope you will join me! [Orange County Wedding Photographer]
Howdy, I'm Darren, one half of The Hendrys! I am not a typical wedding photographer, that is for certain! You could say my style is very non-traditional and pretty offbeat. My approach to shooting is simple; I’ll keep it mostly documentary (you can’t beat a good caught-off-guard expression), capture the action as it unfolds throughout the day, avoid cheesy clichés and let everyone have good old knees up without any interference from me. I’m constantly pushing myself creatively and I am incredibly passionate about telling unique stories for each couple, so I aim to go into each wedding with a clear mind and eyes wide open. If I could describe my work in four words they would be the following: Natural. Emotive. Creative. Honest. I am also a sucker for some awesome light. My journey into the world of wedding photography started back in 2011. Prior to that, I was shooting portraits, gigs and architectural stuff (I have a degree in Architecture) and was starting to get slightly bored, not to mention, my lack of creativity was failing me. I randomly put a wedding photography advert on Gumtree and secured my first booking after a few weeks! Since then I have never looked back and have been doing wedding photography full-time for almost 7 years. It sounds slightly clichéd but getting to travel the world and meet loads of new people along the way has been totally inspiring. I have also stepped out of my creative boundaries and change it up at every wedding I capture, which always helps in keeping things fresh. It’s been an awesome experience so far! [Los Angeles Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I'm Tanya! I'm a Los Angeles and destination wedding photographer based out of Santa Monica. I live for documenting real moments and real couples. I have nearly a decade of experience photographing weddings, but a lifetime of passion for photography, especially photojournalism. I grew up being inspired by National Geographic magazines and wedding photographers' work whose style incorporated story-telling elements. As a photographer, I try to think outside of the box to create images that are unique, compelling and celebrate life. [Los Angeles Wedding Photographer]

As a photojournalist, it is Maya’s job to be an observer and storyteller. It is her passion however for the human condition, emotions, relationships, LOVE, that draws her to photographing weddings. Based in Los Angeles, Maya balances her days between photographing weddings and projects in conjunction with local and national organizations focusing on youth advocacy. Her wedding and editorial images have been published both in Print and Web media outlets such as the New York Times, Newsweek, MSN, NBC News, Variety, SELF, Hollywood Reporter, LA Weekly, Style Me Pretty, and the Bridal Bar Blog. Devon is a photojournalist with years of experience working for newspapers such as The Aspen Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, and The Malibu Times. He has won numerous Colorado Press Association Awards. He currently splits his time between southern California and Aspen, Colorado with studios in both areas. When not photographing weddings and news events, Devon plays guitar and sings in his band. [Los Angeles Wedding Photographer]
Aaron has been photographing weddings for over 14 years all over the world. Over the past decade, Aaron has been able to witness the trajectory of wedding photography, where it has been, where it is headed. He is based in Carlsbad, CA where he explores with his wife and two young boys. His free time is spent building art cars for Burning Man and pushing his creative limits. His style can be described as non-traditional photojournalism focused on the genuine and true; natural human moments, nothing contrived. Specializing in same-sex weddings, aaron searches out imagery that illustrates the love and deep connection between his clients. Aaron has mastered the ability to completely disappear; providing non-intrusive yet exquisite wedding coverage. [San Diego Wedding Photographer]
My work as a photographer began back in 2008 as a sports photography intern at Getty Images. As a freelancer, I covered baseball, football, basketball, rowing, tennis, and motorsport. My experience at Getty sharpened my eye for composition, light, and timing. The technical challenges were amazing, but as time passed, the nature of the work became impersonal and systematic. Another touchdown, another home run, another victory lane… I was just one of a gang of photographers trying to capture the same moment. I felt like my life’s work was becoming a commodity. I growingly became frustrated and disillusioned with my professional journey. Something had to change. Then it hit me. How can I be truly passionate about my work when I don’t have any personal connection whatsoever with the people that I'm covering? As a sports photographer, I was always at arm's length from my subjects – leaving me without the ability to truly relate to what they were feeling. At that moment I knew I wanted to work one-on-one with my subjects. There is something so gratifying about capturing two people madly in love, handing them the images and then hearing how their experience brought them even closer in their relationship. This is the joy that wedding photography brings me and it is why I have chosen to dedicate my life to this work. It would be an honor to hear from you! [Los Angeles Wedding Photographer]
I would describe my style of wedding photography as photojournalistic. While capturing formal portraits are important, I also believe that catching the ambiance of your day and the life-force of your invited guests is of equal priority. With a gentle eye, I will steer your formal photographs to best reflect your personalities, while simultaneously documenting those subtle yet profound candid moments that make up such an important day. I keep a keen watch as the day naturally unfolds so you have a document long after the day has passed you by. High school introduced me to photography and there I spent my waking hours deep within the dark room. Upon graduating, I set off to art school to study Fine Art Photography (2001-2005), where I was introduced to art theory and artist's studio practices. After college, I flexed my logistical side and worked with art fair companies (2004-2012) to share contemporary art to communities in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, and New York. Soon I transitioned into a small business owner and realized my goal of becoming a full-time photographer. So if you will, find comfort in knowing that art and photography are a part of my physiological make-up and the path I've taken shows this. Photography is more than a passion for me, it is the frame in which I have chosen to live my life. My camera and I stay vigilant throughout your day, which no doubt will have many moving parts, while maintaining an unobtrusive and honest presence. Stay in the moment and I will do the rest. KIVA LOAN PLEDGE — I pledge to make a Kiva loan for every wedding that I book. This is something that has been important for me to integrate into my wedding photography business model early on. It hasn't escaped me how becoming a small business owner has changed my life for the better and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to see my goals through. I believe when you are given a chance to work hard towards a goal that leads to a better quality of life, a life that you deliberately design for yourself, it can be transformative and ripple positively outwards. The empowerment that results is truly priceless and I believe that all people have the right to choose what they want for themselves and see their goals come to fruition. Struggle is real, I've been through my share, and I feel it's time to do my part to help fellow builders and dreamers. [Los Angeles Wedding Photographer]

She began shooting weddings alongside her father, himself an award winning WPJA photographer. At the age of sixteen she was the youngest member ever admitted to the WPJA. For the past eight years she has photographed weddings on both the east and west coast, from elaborate 200+ guest affairs to more intimate weddings held in parks, restaurants, or at city hall. I am a professional wedding photographer living in San Diego! With over 7 years of experience in working with clients from various cultures, traveling & attending numerous workshops, I capture beauty and moments in the most authentic, subtle & intimate way. I am a Los Angeles based photographer specialized in Wedding Photography, Elopement and Engagement sessions. I love nature and traveling so I will meet you anywhere in the world to photograph your destination wedding. My style is photojournalistic with an emphasis on surprising candid moments with an artistic touch. I’ve always been fascinated by photography and its ability to capture life’s richest moments; and where else do those moments manifest more abundantly other than a wedding? IT COMES FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE Thinking back at my own wedding I understand how important it is to have a photographer that captures the day in a meaningful way, someone I can trust to have eyes for everyone and everything else when I only had eyes for my bride! That is why it’s so important to me to take the time to know my clients, spend time with them beforehand to understand what is important to them and get as much information as possible about how they envision their special day so I can make sure I deliver the best wedding pictures they could ask for – beautiful memories of a beautiful day. Every wedding is unique and I pride myself for being able to make people comfortable in front of the camera so that real inner beauty can come out naturally and organically. I am emphatic and calm under pressure, I understand the emotional charge of the day and I have the professionalism and experience to be the steady ground in a whirlwind of emotions. I am a citizen of the world and I love the variety of different cultures and traditions; I know that love is a universal language and at the same time that every event is unique so it’s important to me to be flexible and adaptable, to combine the artistic vision with the practical requirements of each situation. PART OF MY PERSONALITY I recently came to accept that I am sort of a geek. I’m passionate about technology, gadgets, my cameras and I’m always learning about new ways to improve and streamline my photography process. I love learning from the best wedding photographers – and as such I’m always looking for ways to continue my education. It keeps me engaged and that is one area I’ve always been stubborn about – improving, feeding my inspiration and creativity, always searching for ways to become better. I’m open-minded and always listen carefully to all feed back and reviews as I’m genuinely interested in learning and growing as a professional photographer. I see myself as a channel for creativity in the world and delivering wedding pictures that make you smile and happy for years to come is what gives meaning and purpose to my career. JUST FOR FUN: – In 2008 I started my own beautiful and exciting love story when I met my wife while on a pilgrimage of 450 miles in Spain called The Way of St. James or Camino de Santiago – I don’t understand Vanilla Ice Cream. If I had to choose between Vanilla Ice cream and No Ice cream Ever Again – I would choose No Ice Cream Ever Again (and I LOVE ice cream!) – I have a degree in Management and Marketing. For some reason, my wife still laughs hysterically when I try to talk to her about penetrating the market – I give great speeches. Usually after a couple of glasses of wine (always red) – I love a good Sci-Fi movie or TV show – I’m planning on hiking the John Muir Trail next year – I’m a foodie! I can cook, but I prefer the eating part – I hardly ever get bored. I always find a new project to excite and inspire me [Los Angeles Wedding Photographer]
I am a Southern California storytelling photographer, so my number one goal is to capture your wedding day authentically. For me, it is all about genuine imagery that reflects the emotions and connections. I’ve always been one to document, but my love of photography really blossomed with the birth of our first child. I inherited my first DSLR camera, which I enjoyed, but it wasn’t until a friend taught me how to use the manual mode that I realized pointing and shooting play a very small role in creating a compelling image. So my quest began: to make images — creatively and expertly — that move the viewer emotionally. Soon after, I had more life-changing moments to document: our 2nd daughter’s cleft palate surgery and bringing our son home from the hospital for the first time. But I have realized what I enjoy most is capturing the little things: how she cocks her head when she pushes her palms into the play dough, or how he clambers up onto a bike that is way too big for him. For me, the joy of capturing a moment beautifully and memorably is the most exciting part of photography. My style is photojournalistic for a reason—I believe the images you will cherish over the years are not the posed ones but the genuine, honest ones. Documenting weddings gives me the opportunity to capture the unscripted moments that make life beautiful. [Los Angeles Wedding Photographer]
I was raised in North Carolina, went up north to Boston College to study Studio Art, lived abroad in Florence, Italy, moved to Washington, DC, and now I have been splitting my time on both coasts between Los Angeles and Greensboro, NC. I truly love what I do. It is as much a lifestyle as it is a calling - and I am humbled by the recognition I have received within my industry. In college, I was featured in National Geographic for a photojournalism piece focusing on Americans in the rural Blue Ridge Mountains. For the past 10 years, photography has been my life, my passion, and an ever-changing, creative source of self-expression. By incorporating both love and art, it is an extreme honor to capture the big moments in people's lives. Weddings are the culmination of a love story and a start to a new adventure. What I love most about weddings is I often get to see a couple grow from engagement to marriage to starting a family. To maintain quality work and excellent client relationships, I only book up to 15 weddings a year (both local and international). The other work I get to delve into (mostly in LA) is documenting branding and decor for Hollywood studios and other companies. On those very special days off, I adore spending time with my husband, our new baby boy Julian, and our rescue Shepherd, Zoe. I am very passionate about animal welfare and spend a dedicated amount of time photographing shelter animals and helping place them in forever homes. [Los Angeles Wedding Photographer]
I'm a photographer, editor, and writer based in Los Angeles (in the lovely enclave of Atwater Village). I’m not a traditional photographer by any means—I document experiences and tell stories for artists, musicians, and mindful couples that want to be in the moment and captured as they are. I watch old films, read old books, and collect old cameras to get inspired. Skateboarding, going to gigs, hanging with my wife Sarah, walking our dog Pearl June (or 'Junebug' these days), and spending time with friends and family are things to look forward to. And of course, I'm wildly obsessed with all things punk, love, and DIY. Being mindful and being present is important to me and my work. With a cinematic touch, I tend to look for the quiet and calm in a moment. It's the serene stillness of a boy jumping into a crowd of surf punks or the expression of pure love encapsulated by a bride's smile on her wedding day. Creating a true document of these experiences is what I'm after. [Los Angeles Wedding Photographer]
I am a documentary wedding photographer, based out of Oaxaca (Winter) and the Bay Area in California (Summer), and I also offer my services in international destination wedding photography. My approach focuses on making unique and real images that capture the meaningful moments, raw emotion and pure joy that make up the incredible experience of a wedding, and that also beautifully tell the story of that day. When you look through your images, they will take you right back to the excitement, love and happiness experienced during your celebration. I am madly in-love with documenting love. [Oaxaca Wedding Photographer]
Will is the co-founders of SW Photo Studio. He is a passionate photographer who has grown up and resided in many different places such as Malaysia, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, the USA, Japan, and China. The rich experiences of traveling and crossing between those different cultures have made him a fully open-minded person. Will has not only appreciated those lessons life had taught him but also tried to get inspired and fulfill them into his photography works. [Taipei Wedding Photographer]
I'm a documentary wedding photographer located in the Seattle area of Washington. I live on the rocky beaches of Bremerton Washington and love riding the ferry to Seattle as often as possible. I started my professional photography career shooting for The Daily Evergreen and Columbian Newspapers before shifting my focus to wedding photography. I have been photographing weddings since 2011 now and see no end in sight. In 2016 (my then girlfriend) started shooting wedding alongside me and in 2018 we got married Cannon Beach and Leavenworth Washington. Allie Leaf and I regularly shoot weddings together. When not shooting weddings, I photograph concerts like Taylor Swift, Metallica, Nada Surf, The Black Keys, and Twenty One Pilots for the music publication I started in college called Seattle Music News. [Seattle Wedding Photographer]
Chris has had a great love for art since he was a young boy. At age of 15, he earned his first second-hand camera from his father. Since then, he was always “the photographer” among his friends and family. He finally turned this passion into his profession in 2007. Wedding is one of the events Chris loves to shoot. He believes it is one of the most beautiful and joyful event in life, and he understands how every moment, from engagement to the end of the wedding day, means to the couples and their families. Through his artistic eyes and un-obstructive approach, Chris documents these precious moments into elegant, story-telling photographic images that the couples can cherish. Chris is a destination wedding photographer based in San Francisco, California. [San Francisco Wedding Photographer]
I have had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember. Since a child, I was delighted in how a moment can be captured through the lens of a camera, and how time stands still within the frame of a photograph. I approach every project with professionalism and a will to deliver quality and value to my clients. I believe that exceptional photographs can only be taken in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, and so I make every effort to make sessions as enjoyable as possible and to put clients at ease. When I first used a camera, several years ago, I would never have imagined I could become a wedding photographer. Bang and I opened our first studio in Elk Grove, near Sacramento, experimenting in different styles and adapting to the needs of the local clientele. Little by little, we realized what we were looking for in our photos was emotion, which still life or classical studio photography could not offer. Real people, their expressions, their emotions, this is what we wanted to capture. Choosing wedding photography was a natural consequence, as it offers the unique opportunity to capture human emotions in all their shades I believe it is in the nature of humankind to be attracted, and sometimes, upset, by what is different from us, as in a way it represents our opposite, our contrasting personality. I never found it easy to show my emotions and my sensitivity, to express my real self and let go completely, displaying my vulnerability. I guess this is why what attracts me most in weddings: the ability to capture the emotions expressed without filters, with no fear of showing what you really are and what you are feeling. A smile, a hearty laugh, tears you’d like to hide, an emotional hug, these intimate moments fascinate and seduce me, and this is what I base my photography on. Static poses created with affected emotions are not my cup of tea; I want true spontaneity. [Sacramento Wedding Photographer]
Stephanie received her Master's degree in photojournalism from top-ranked, Ohio University. She was invited to attend the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop, a national forum for top photojournalists. She has also received awards in one of photojournalism's oldest, largest and most highly respected contest, the Annual Pictures of the Year competition of the National Press Photographers Association, among other organizations. [Santa Barbara Wedding Photographer]
I am a Oaxaca destination wedding photographer. My first Oaxaca destination wedding came in 2008, when a Brooklyn bride, with her fiancé, from the Isthmus, came across my photographs of Spain, Morocco, California, and Oaxaca, at an art sale on Alcalá in Oaxaca. She said she loved my style and wanted me to shoot her wedding. Since I had never shot a wedding before, her coordinator, Marcela González, with whom I have collaborated on so many of the most beautiful weddings in Oaxaca since 2008, recommended I be the second shooter to the photographer they had already booked. It was a part-Jewish, part-Istmeña wedding at Casa de Los Pintores and the day was full of so much life and fun and amazing moments that I was hooked. I began investing in my education as a photographer, and in my professional equipment. Soon enough I started giving workshops in English and Spanish and served as a liaison and interpreter for iconic film photographer Mary Ellen Mark's Oaxaca photography workshops. I have exhibited in places like Casa de la Ciudad, with financial support from the Alfredo Harp Helú Foundation, and published in magazines and newspapers like The Wall Street Journal and El País, among many others. I have met the needs of discerning clientele like Casa Oaxaca, Oaxaca Film Fest, and brides from around Mexico and the US looking for something different for their destination wedding photography. So many years later, each new wedding still gives me the same thrill as the first. This is because I push myself to meet the artistic and storytelling challenges each new wedding puts before me. It would be an honor to be your photographer, and tell the story of your day in a way you will love to revisit the rest of your lives. [Oaxaca Wedding Photographer]
My photographs have always been defined by my love of geometry, composition and available light. I’ve spent my life seeking those decisive moments where the interplay of angles and lines come together within the frame. For me a photograph should always be visually stimulating but it must have the ability to take the viewer back to a past moment and evoke an emotional reaction. Born in 1978, in the middle of the summer in Athens.. And fast forward to 2002: I studied Mechanical Engineering at Technological institution of Athens learning how things work and more importantly how to break them. I then worked in this field for 8 years, but this career path left me searching for a creative outlet. I’ve always liked photography but never thought in my wildest dreams I could make a career out of it. In 2010 i came home with a new mindset and determination, to do something more fulfilling and challenging. Something that would engage me creatively. I succeeded in joining the Department of Photography and Audio-visual Arts, making my hobby my life pursuit. I undergraduate with Ηonors in documentary photography . In 2012, I continued to study Documentary Photography and i attended the “Photojournalism and Documentary Photography” program at the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York I completed my studies with a residence in the international research programme of residence in the National School of Photography (Ecole Nationale et superieure de la photographie) the only art school in France dedicated exclusively to photography. I had produced pictures on humanitarian crisis, focusing in social issues around the globe. Some of the countries and projects include India, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, France, Italy, Esthonia, Sweden, Finland, and United States of America among others. Since 2012, my photo projects began to appear in websites, newspapers and magazines worldwide (Le monde, Guardian, Le journal de la photographie, I-D magazine, Vice, National Geographic and others. In 2013 i have been Awarded as one of the best 10 Young Photographers at Athens Photofestival and the following year i was in the 1st Place, at Sony World photography Awards. But it's the story-telling part of working as a documentary photographer that has the most influence on how I now work as a documentary wedding photographer and this is how my editorial photography has shaped my wedding photography. I spent a long time learning about light, about people and about story-telling. It’s not easy, telling a story with pictures. [London Wedding Photographer]
About Me: I crave adventure. The kind that lets me explore the world. The kind of adventure that when I think back about it even years later, I can still hear the laughter I shared. The kind that nurtures and cultivates relationships. The kind of adventure that changes me…and allows me to change others. I’m spontaneous, a little rebellious, and a little follow-the-rules. I FEEL all of the feels, all of the time. I will sing at your sessions…and likely express my excitement with a happy dance. And I’ll probably tell you too much and make you laugh with me (but probably at me). No matter the adventure we are on, I promise it’s going to be a fun one. Wife Life: I met my husband on my very first day of college at Texas Lutheran University. I talked some major smack while playing a competitive game of poker and he sarcastically talked smack right back. It was love. Really though, it’s important to have a partner who balances you. And Justin is that for me. While I’m spontaneous and often unrealistic, he is a thinker, planner and reels me back in when my ideas are not well planned out. But he also supports me and lets me dream. Mom Life: In my daily grind, you’ll find me raising 3 very independent and spirited GIRLS. The kind that will no doubt be capable of running our country one day. Or a gang. Fingers crossed it’s our country though. You’ll also find me editing photos (or answering emails) while my girls are at gymnastics or in the car line for school pick up. What you should know: Epic. Authentic. Creative. Unique. Emotive. These are the words that I use to tell your story through my camera. Your story is not like everyone else’s- so your wedding photos should not be either. And also, my clients become my family…so you should know that upfront too. [San Antonio Wedding Photographer]

I now know what you all are going through and am more understanding than ever when it comes to wedding planning! ;) I backpacked Europe for 3 months after college and ended up living in Spain for a year teaching English afterward! I've always felt like I am more of a dog person, but Jacob and I adopted a cat named Ophelia and I have officially become one of those crazy cat ladies. Every year I travel somewhere new. My most recent trips include Machu Picchu, South Africa, and Ireland. I love traveling and trying new things! This year we are going to Costa Rica! My favorite bands/musicians include Maggie Rogers, Gregory Alan Isakov, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats, The Lumineers, and Johnnyswim I have been vegan for over two years! We started taking lessons last year and had fun swing dancing for our first dance at our wedding in November! I have played piano for 24 years! [Denver Wedding Photographer]
A self-learned photographer, David Zaoui was born in 1982 of Eurasian and Franco-Algerian parents. Growing up, his diverse background provided an ideal environment where artistic sense, open-mindedness and multiculturalism were omnipresent. Through both his grandfather who was a Painter and his mother who attended the Beaux-Arts school, David realized the true impact a simple image can have on a person. During his own wedding, he discovered the art of wedding photography, and became friends with a talented photographer who soon became his mentor. Through his love for both travelling the globe and photography, David is today a confirmed wedding photographer both in France and abroad. Through his images, he tells a story aimed at showing true emotions, cultural diversity and the natural beauty of landscapes all of which emanate from the Ceremonies he captures. In 2014, David became a member of two prestigious International Wedding photographer affiliations, one being the WPJA which has further comforted him in his professional and life choices. In 2015, he became Ambassador to a famous international camera brand. In 2016-17, he won 12 world wedding photography awards, speaker for Nikon France and lives now in Miami. I discovered photography when I was living in Australia. I wanted to show my family and friends the beautiful landscapes of this very singular country and to share my new life and adventure with them. Later on I started taking portraits of people and life scenes. Photography became an excuse to please my curiosity, to discover new angles of human beings and their cultures. I wanted to go where I had never dared to go before. When I take pictures, I am traveling and experiencing new ways of living in which I can express myself and feel fullfiled. With that same idea in mind of taking pictures in the heat of the moment, I started photographing weddings. I first took pictures of my friends’ weddings, and then little by little, through networking, I was brought to this very peculiar wedding universe that I enjoy. What is important for me is to capture the moment and keep it real and authentic; every action has to remain spontaneous, every emotion has to be caught in an instant. That is why I am an active member of the WEDDING PHOTOJOURNALIST ASSOCIATION. Every wedding picture is a challenge. I am 100% involved, living the emotion, and trying to keep it as real as I can in my photo reports. Over the course of one day I tell your story and keep your memories . . . Doug is an award-winning photographer based out of San Francisco Bay. His style is documentary with drops of lifestyle. He is known for his peaceful and positive demeanor, and ability to easily connect with family and guests. Doug has shot near 450 wedding events since 2002 from San Francisco to Seoul and Big Sur to Bangkok. Seen as an extension of the family, he gets in close and comfortable, being quickly accepted and forgotten, while framing the perfect shot at the height of the moment. Departing a bit from his days as a photojournalist, Doug prefers to photograph from 'inside the circle' instead of out... often ending up as a longtime family photographer and friend. Published in leading blogs such as NPR, Brides, Style Me Pretty, Snippet and Ink and Le Magnifique, his images are treasured by the professional community. Doug is listed as one of the top 30 photographers in the world by the Wedding Photojournalist Association and is a preferred talent on premiere venue and coordinator lists along the California coast. My name is Gingi Freeman. I am a photographer, artist, storyteller and mother of two adorable toddlers in Visalia, California. I often shoot alongside my husband Jonathan, where we love to capture real moments and raw emotions. My non-intrusive approach to weddings allows couples to relax and be present in their moments of happiness rather than focusing on posing. That’s what I want to deliver with each assignment, a meaningful and beautiful storyboard. I am a crazy cat person, adventure seeker, Christ follower and overall geek! Some of my hobbies include traveling, gardening, dropping random Mel Brooks movie quotes, going to comic book conventions and making frequent trips to Disneyland. I are located in Visalia, California but travel to many cities and states for wedding photography, my primary passion! [Visalia Wedding Photographer]
I am a Chicago-based photographer living in the Bucktown neighborhood in Chicago with my husband, and closest friend, Shawn. When I was thirteen I picked up my mother's camera and started documenting our lives. The one hour photo lab down the street turned into hours and hours in the b&w darkroom in undergrad, then the color darkroom, then a Masters in photography. Today I still find myself in the darkroom every day with my students at New Trier High School. Photography is more than what I do, it is who I am. I teach so that I may pass that passion onto future generations. I am at home and at ease when I am working with and photographing people; it has always made complete sense to me. I take pride in making my clients feel comfortable during our shoots, even the most camera shy. I have an admiration for beauty, peculiarity, and the everyday stuff of life. I let my intuition lead me and I do not force situations to occur. I allow moments to unfold and adjust myself to the situation. I am humbled and honored to photograph the memories and milestones in people's lives. I know that I will always do my best to document people as they are, so they will look back on the moments and still feel all the love and warmth that went into creating those memories. , [Chicago Wedding Photographer]

I've always been a creative and adventurous person, and have wanted to pursue the arts ever since I can remember. I majored in fine art at the University of California, Santa Cruz, but it wasn't until I met my now-husband, Sean, and he introduced me to the DSLR, that I really found my calling. We enjoyed photographing our adventures together - travels to Europe, biking, camping, and exploring. Photography was a favorite hobby until a friend got married and asked me to photograph her wedding. I instantly fell in love with the unique intersection of creativity and meaning that is wedding photography, and have been shooting weddings ever since. I am passionate about immortalizing the precious minutes of life in a way that is both beautiful and true. Sean and I live and work (and play!) in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. Dan started his photography career at the age of eight, encouraged by his mother's instructions on the workings of the Kodak Brownie II camera. He spent the whole afternoon lying on the grass in the late California summer sun taking pictures of his GI Joe figurines in full battle regalia. Little did he know his love of GI Joe was to be replaced with a love of photography. His formative years are now more affectionately referred to as the Rangefinder, Polaroid and Instamatic years. He majored in journalism in college, beginning his SLR years. He has over 20 years experience in newspapers. He swore he would never shoot weddings but finally caved under the pressure of friends and has now shot more than 730 events in the past 20 years. He has won numerous local, national and international awards. While lying in the grass at a recent wedding capturing the life-changing event before his eyes, he reminisced about an earlier time when he naively discovered his own lifetime passion. I was born in Los Angeles, California (to Peruvian parents) and have lived throughout Northern and Southern Cali most of my life until about March 2011 when I decided to up & move to Lima, Peru to pursue my dream of being a full-time photographer and documenting social work in the slums of Lima. After graduating from California State University at Fullerton in 2010 with a bachelor's in Visual Communication & minor in Sociology, I attended several photojournalism workshops around the world for years including Look3 Festival of the Photograph workshops (Charlottesville, VA) and Foundry Photojournalism Workshop in Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Mexico City, BodaF in Querétaro, Mexico and Beyond [Wedding Photography] Workshop in Lima, Peru 2016 & 2017. Each of these experiences brought out a different world within me and taught me the value of photography as a tool to help us see, not only things or other people but ourselves. I’ve been photographing couples and families for over 10 years now, but falling in love and having experienced what it’s like to be the bride first-hand has changed the way that I see through my viewfinder at weddings. I am an utterly hopeless romantic and I can see and feel the love around me much more now than ever before. I get it. I offer real, emotive, and breathtaking images that capture who you truly are and all the joy you are feeling on your day. I also love to capture the behind the scenes bits, which I feel are the most interesting and telling; the pre-ceremony jitters, the anxiety in the dressing room, the sheer madness and beauty of it all. I live for these raw moments and am always ready to capture them when you least expect or even notice. Let me share my passion and years of photography experience with you. Maybe we can get a coffee together and you can tell me all about how your story began and how you want to remember it. [Miami Wedding Photographer]
Equipped with a background in graphics design, the attention to composition is key to my images. I have a very simple philosophy and style: I shoot life, as it happens. I thrive on shooting split-second moments that mark life-altering experiences: an extended gaze, a touch of the hand, a tearful smile. I capture the details that few people notice, the moments everyone wants to remember, and ultimately the feelings that can be relived, over and over, for years and decades to come. Our lives are all collections of moments and I am a photographer because of moments. Capturing and sharing them is my joy. I'm an award-winning photojournalist available to shoot your wedding or family gathering wherever it is. My documentary approach is unobtrusive, honest and subtle. I blend in. I make my subjects feel comfortable. I watch, I wait and work hard to never miss a moment. I have a master's degree in photojournalism from Ohio University. I worked for newspapers in New Mexico, Maine, Delaware, Virginia, Montana & Washington. My domestic & international photography has been recognized by the National Press Photographers Association, the Society of Professional Journalists, Women in Photojournalism & College Photographer of the Year. Based in the gorgeous state of Colorado (Native here!), I spend my days roaming mountain-tops with Clients, and exploring all that this state has to offer with my little fam (Twin boys, hubby and the coolest German shepherd EVER.)! Being a wedding and elopement photographer in one of the most beautiful states in the country allows me to really pull together my love for documenting the adventure, real-time moments, as well as creating some Epic Environmental portraits! I love problem-solving lighting and all the "think on your toes" aspects of weddings, and thrive on the fact that no two weddings are ever the same! I love the spontaneity of emotions, weather, and all unscripted moments! I have been many times referred to as a "photo-ninja" (probably my most favorite compliment ever...), so you can bet I will be jumping in Rivers, climbing on rocks....or whatever it takes to get the shots! If there are kids at a wedding too...you can also bet I'll take 7689 photos of them...because kids do funny stuff. (Fun fact: Top notch service and experience for my clients is a must! I was a Catering and Events Manager for a high-end hotel chain for years before becoming a photographer...so weddings and service are ingrained in my blood! I like to offer that little "extra" service and experience to all my clients...helping keep planning and the day running absolutely smoothly and just as intended!) [Denver Wedding Photographer]
I have started photography in grade school. My father introduced me to a film DSLR and some dark room techniques. After high school I have not pursued photography for quite few years instead I have concentrated on my athletic career. I represented Poland in the 1988 Olympic Games in diving. I have picked up a camera but this time a digital one in 2002 and I have never looked back. I have been shooting weddings since 2005. My wedding photography career started by shooting for friends and family. But soon I have been approached by clients from all over. In addition to wedding photography I have done commercial stuff for clients like Celine Dion, Cirque du Soleil, Wynn Las Vegas, Wanda Wuchan China, City of Drams Macau to name a few. RAVES, REVIEWS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Maya! You are beyond talented, and we feel a strong sense of gratitude for your amazing work! As you know, Our family comes from a long tradition of top-notch photojournalism, having been close friends with Henri Cartier-Bresson. Elliott Erwitt documented our wedding in his humorous and brilliant style, among other things. When we turned to Elliot for recommendations, he told us to go to the WPJA website. We were so pleased to discover your beautiful, eloquent and spontaneous photographs. You surpassed our expectations on the day of the wedding, and you were such a delight to deal with. When we received your final product, we were just amazed! Alexandra and I immediately knew we had found our match, just by looking at your portfolio, and it became even more obvious after your phone interview with Alexandra when your said, "enjoy your wedding day, do not worry about me, I will be around" it was music to our ears. Your attitude is the key to the natural spontaneity and the emotions clearly expressed in your art. You were such a delight to deal with, and thank you for giving it your all!
