This was a strong category. This is a funny contrast of expression between the generations. This wedding couple is nicely framed with an older couple gazing over at them. The older generation is statuesque as if they are bookends that don’t really exist. The evening light shines beautifully on this sweet couple and their love for each other.
I would hang this photo in my home. I love this dreamlike state created with the flow of the curtain and the wedding decorations as they swing in the breeze. The layers in this photo bring you back and forth as you study the mountains and water along the horizon and back to the curtains that frame the window. The tranquil evening light color adds to the beauty of image.
The detail was beautiful. A simple shot of the lights gets energy from the curtain – just a piece of artistic fun.
Oh my goodness! This image could bedeck the walls of the very space it portrays. It is a rapturous play of pattern and shape - a sliver of time revealing a pastoral, dreamlike gust of wind. It is so sumptuously beautiful that any viewer of this image has been extended an open invitation to spontaneous worship. Take me to this place.
This imaginative shot is not only beautifully balanced with the sun through the dark clouds, but raises many questions of what it says about the bride. The cat is like out of a Salvatore Dali moment.,
The light breaking through the clouds is very dramatic and is a very strong compliment to the foreground. Nice job.
