Shooting an elopement or small Northern Ireland wedding event is a wedding photojournalist’s dream: a fairly open schedule with lots of breathing space for creativity – it’s just the photographer, the couple, the officiant, and perhaps a few select companions.
Members are ready to document any civil ceremony, town hall, pop-up, or elopement wedding, even if it is a Monday-Thursday ceremony. Search for the “Can Shoot Weddings on Short Notice!” message on the listings below.
We are anxious to create a picture story chronicling your modern, symbolic, intimate, small wedding from beginning to end. In this sense, it is no different from any other event that we have covered. The emphasis is on documenting key moments, capturing spontaneous displays of emotion, telling your real love story, as well as creating artistic portraits and details.

I've been a full-time photographer for over 6 years now. Photographing people being people is the best thing ever and I know I'll still be doing it long after I've photographed my last wedding. I'm married to my best friend, Róisín. Somehow she gets me and I'm lucky I have her. We live in Belfast with our two kids, Dáithí and Isla, in an old townhouse that's got bags of charm (and NO space). The kids are everything to us. On weekends off, we fuel-up with coffee and take them out adventuring. [Belfast Wedding Photographer]

I haven't known much else in life except photographing weddings for a living, I have had a camera glued to my hand since I was a kid and shot my first wedding when I was only 14 years old, fast forward the clock 16 years and over 700 weddings later and I am more passionate than ever about capturing epic moments from your wedding day as I continue my journey to being the best photographer, husband, and dad I can possibly be. Wedding photography has been my full-time profession and it’s incredibly rewarding delivering images to my clients that they will cherish forever. I love to work in the most creative way I can capture moments that display the beauty and evoke emotion. For me, wedding photography is such a personal thing and I love having the opportunity to build that rapport with my couples for them to feel relaxed on their wedding day. Which is why I like to meet my couples when possible and build up a relationship long before the big day. [County Antrim Wedding Photographer]

Dom began York Place Studios at the tender age of 21 along with elder brother Liam. With her film photography background and fine art influences she entered the world of weddings with the idea of doing things a little differently and in doing so created the founding principles of the York Place Style. Her passion, bubbly personality and sense of romance puts emotion at the centre of her imagery. [London Wedding Photographer]
