My Name is Thomas Weber. I am a native of Berlin, born in 1979 and have been living in Oldenburg since 2002. I´ve been involved with potography since 2005, disvovering my passion for wedding photography.
My fotographic path first led my through different themes. The press became attentive to me quite fast – reporting and awarding some of my photographs. After these roundabouts I recognized my interest in the art of lively and emotional wedding photojournalism.
Therefore, at the end of 2009, I decided to differenciate between wedding photography and my other works and am now presenting it on my wedding-website.
Award Winning Photos
The Wedding Photojournalist Association proudly recognizes the accomplishments and creative excellence of Thomas. The following awards have been earned by Thomas from the WPJA. These achievements come with great merit considering the high level of competition that a member faces in the contests.
Simplicity is best sometimes. Just a pretty image.
We’ve all seen images like this and often that alone can produce a chilling effect upon our image selections. Never underestimate the power of a real moment. Each is unique in character and quality and each carries with it the forbearance of truth.
It takes a deeper look to realize that the rich textures that imbue this photo are a natural result of light, reflection and surrounding. The result is an image laden with passionate romance, “painted” with the camera’s broad brush onto a canvas of life and love.
I just want to know how she got there! Very funny! The photographer kept enough in the frame so that we know what event we are looking at, but not so much that it would take away from the girl.
Maybe I should not like this photo as much as I do (I don’t advocate toddlers drinking!) but this image is like a scene from a movie! I really loved the moment and the reaction of both adult and child. Just a funny photo.
Love this little face and the curled lips which mimic the flower (I think?) at the edge of the pew. The adults look pretty bored themselves.
Excellent photo. Love the dog's eyes.
Nice to have a patient and obedient dog. I'm sure the dog was part of the family. I think it could have used a bit of cropping on top, but still a winner.
This was a nice sign-of-the-times photo. I liked the humor and the composition.
The painterly light combined with a bride who is comfortable in her own skin (and with the photographer) makes for a wonderful portrait. The low perspective adds drama.
