Top Denver Wedding Photographer Justin Edmonds

Working as a photojournalist for the past 11 years for clients like Getty Images, The New York Times, Sports Illustrated, Major League Baseball, NASCAR and The Denver Post, to name a few, I've had the opportunity to document stories, events and people all over the country. I bring that level of experience, problem-solving and hard work to each and every wedding that I photograph. I've shot more than 130 weddings in my career which is something I can admit that I didn't see coming as a business student at the University of Denver, CO. I definitely thought I would end up in the advertising industry but I picked up a camera while studying abroad in Rome, Italy and haven't put it down since. I love spending time with my fianceé, Amy, and our families. When I have some free time I can usually be found on the golf course, riding one of my three bikes or snowboarding. I am passionate about cooking and craft beer, having tried more than 2,000 unique beers to date. [Denver Wedding Photographer]

Denver Wedding Photographer Carl Bower

I am a photojournalist and Pulitzer finalist who approaches weddings with a quiet presence and an eye for authenticity. I work with a calm demeanor and a desire to remain unnoticed, finding small moments of intimacy in the midst of public celebrations. While environment and ritual play an important part in my wedding coverage, I also focus on the personal connections and latent emotions brought to the surface by such pivotal moments in life. I feel my task is to anticipate and document moments as they naturally occur, without direction or interference. My ultimate goal is a highly personal book that is both beautiful and meaningful, authentic to the moment and revealing of those depicted. I'm a recent transplant to Denver, CO from Washington DC and I continue to cover weddings nationwide. [Denver Wedding Photographer]

About Me: I crave adventure. The kind that lets me explore the world. The kind of adventure that when I think back about it even years later, I can still hear the laughter I shared. The kind that nurtures and cultivates relationships. The kind of adventure that changes me…and allows me to change others. I’m spontaneous, a little rebellious, and a little follow-the-rules. I FEEL all of the feels, all of the time. I will sing at your sessions…and likely express my excitement with a happy dance. And I’ll probably tell you too much and make you laugh with me (but probably at me). No matter the adventure we are on, I promise it’s going to be a fun one. Wife Life: I met my husband on my very first day of college at Texas Lutheran University. I talked some major smack while playing a competitive game of poker and he sarcastically talked smack right back. It was love. Really though, it’s important to have a partner who balances you. And Justin is that for me. While I’m spontaneous and often unrealistic, he is a thinker, planner and reels me back in when my ideas are not well planned out. But he also supports me and lets me dream. Mom Life: In my daily grind, you’ll find me raising 3 very independent and spirited GIRLS. The kind that will no doubt be capable of running our country one day. Or a gang. Fingers crossed it’s our country though. You’ll also find me editing photos (or answering emails) while my girls are at gymnastics or in the car line for school pick up. What you should know: Epic. Authentic. Creative. Unique. Emotive. These are the words that I use to tell your story through my camera. Your story is not like everyone else’s- so your wedding photos should not be either. And also, my clients become my family…so you should know that upfront too. [San Antonio Wedding Photographer]

My style of wedding photography is best described as creative wedding photojournalism. I care deeply about documenting the fleeting moments that make your wedding or elopement day uniquely and authentically yours. When I'm not busy photographing weddings, my husband and I love to spend time in the outdoors. A typical vacation for us usually features a multi-day backcountry trek, unseasonably inclement weather, and more freeze-dried meals than I'd care to admit. I am also a certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide through the Association for Nature and Forest Therapy. I offer public and private guided shinrin-yoku experiences (aka forest bathing or forest therapy). I specialize in private walks for couples, which can be a wonderful way to relax in nature and reconnect with each other in advance of or just following your wedding or elopement celebrations. My guiding business is called Wind in Pines LLC. If you’re interested in adding a forest bathing walk to your wedding celebrations, whether as a couple or for your wedding party or bridal shower, let me know! In addition to my work as a photographer and forest bathing guide, I volunteer as a bird handler with a local raptor educational organization called HawkQuest. If you think I might be the right photographer for your wedding, I’d love to hear from you. [Denver Wedding Photographer]

Las Vegas wedding photographer Tomasz Rossa - Nevada

I have started photography in grade school. My father introduced me to a film DSLR and some dark room techniques. After high school I have not pursued photography for quite few years instead I have concentrated on my athletic career. I represented Poland in the 1988 Olympic Games in diving. I have picked up a camera but this time a digital one in 2002 and I have never looked back. I have been shooting weddings since 2005. My wedding photography career started by shooting for friends and family. But soon I have been approached by clients from all over. In addition to wedding photography I have done commercial stuff for clients like Celine Dion, Cirque du Soleil, Wynn Las Vegas, Wanda Wuchan China, City of Drams Macau to name a few. Colorado and Durango wedding photography by Colt Fetters

We’re a soon-to-be husband and wife wedding photography team based in Durango, CO! We met in sweet home Alabama, fell in love, and moved our sweet tea and buttered biscuits to Southwest Colorado and now aim to be the very best Durango wedding photographers! We love exploring new places and capturing love stories among natural scenes. Together, we’ve been lucky enough to have traveled in beautiful places by bicycle - from the colorful towns of Cuba, the towering mountains of Peru, and the quaint countryside in Italy. One of our favorite landscapes to explore happens to be in our very own backyard, The San Juan Mountains and the desert of Southern Utah. We believe there is no better way of creating meaningful experiences with the people you love than by sharing your stories, exploring your passions, and surrounding yourself with the ones you love under the big starry western sky. Portrait of Loren Haar, Ventura Wedding Photographer

I am a Southern California storytelling photographer, so my number one goal is to capture your wedding day authentically. For me, it is all about genuine imagery that reflects the emotions and connections. I’ve always been one to document, but my love of photography really blossomed with the birth of our first child. I inherited my first DSLR camera, which I enjoyed, but it wasn’t until a friend taught me how to use the manual mode that I realized pointing and shooting play a very small role in creating a compelling image. So my quest began: to make images — creatively and expertly — that move the viewer emotionally. Soon after, I had more life-changing moments to document: our 2nd daughter’s cleft palate surgery and bringing our son home from the hospital for the first time. But I have realized what I enjoy most is capturing the little things: how she cocks her head when she pushes her palms into the play dough, or how he clambers up onto a bike that is way too big for him. For me, the joy of capturing a moment beautifully and memorably is the most exciting part of photography. My style is photojournalistic for a reason—I believe the images you will cherish over the years are not the posed ones but the genuine, honest ones. Documenting weddings gives me the opportunity to capture the unscripted moments that make life beautiful. [Los Angeles Wedding Photographer]

Our lives are all collections of moments and I am a photographer because of moments. Capturing and sharing them is my joy. Show Shutter Wedding Day Photography - Groom dancing at the wedding reception with some blur
Dragging the shutter is a basic photographic technique that is often put to highly creative use by the best wedding photojournalists. Whether depicting the bride mid-whir during a dance, or documenting a child bounding down the aisle at the church, dragging the shutter helps produce images that contain a sense of motion and bring an added dose of festivity to what, for some, already feels like a whirlwind day. When photographers “drag” the shutter by slowing down its speed, they...Read more
Sideline story photography at the wedding reception showing ladies drinking gin from tea cups
Some wedding photographers may feel the need to include the bride or groom in every picture, but those photos convey only part of the day's record. Most WPJA members will probably tell you that you're not fully documenting the event unless you get out there on the periphery and record the subplots of the wedding day—the unique and intersecting stories of the guests as they enjoy the festivities. We call these types of pictures “sideline shots,” and they are distinct from the standard reaction...Read more
Wedding Photojournalism Beauty Photos of the bride crossing her eyes as she reacts to her dress being buttoned up from behind
The bride steps into her wedding gown. Her mother and a coterie of bridesmaids assist her with the final touches on her hair and makeup. They primp and preen at her gown, perhaps contributing something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. Today, the vast majority of brides invite their photographer to document the “getting ready” period, and for good reason. Getting ready can be a monumental task for the bride and her entourage, and an event in itself. It...Read more
Wedding Photography of Parents - ceremony image showing the handover by the father of the bride to the groom
In the 1950 classic film Father of the Bride , George, played by Spenser Tracy, watches his daughter Annie, played by Elizabeth Taylor, take her wedding vows and says to himself, “I realized at that moment that I was never going to come home again and see Annie at the top of the stairs. Never going to see her again at our breakfast table in her nightgown and socks...Annie was all grown up and leaving us, and something inside began to hurt.” The scene may be fiction, but the emotion behind it is...Read more

Choosing you was the easiest part of the shit show that was wedding planning. Working with you is something I would choose over a hundred times, you get how silly and impulsive we are . And You’re so damn tall, but you move like a ghost to get a shot that is as if it was taken from right in front of me. I remember dancing with you for like two seconds, and otherwise, don’t remember seeing you. It’s unbelievable. Thank you for capturing our wedding so perfectly. I would love to buy you a drink whenever you’re in town and are free.

I absolutely ADORE these photos!! You did an amazing job and I just want to show you one simple shot that just gave goosebumps because it was basically a recreation of my best friend and I's favorite picture from graduating high school. I just feel the love and growth and maturity we've got through together in your picture. I wanted to let you know and let you know you're doing such a great job with your work even in these small moments-- whether you know it or not!

What a happy surprise!  We didn't expect to see these for several days yet.  They look awesome!  John and I will review them together and get back to you.   Thanks so much for photographing our wedding.  It was so wonderful not only have you do it from a professional standpoint but it was great to have you there.  You get us.   We'll talk to you soon and thanks for the fast turn around!

Every shot you took was a cut above.  Not only are you a master technically, you're an artist.  You understand how objects and shapes come together to create a powerful image and tell a story.  You've also obviously carefully studied how people interact.  The photos are so well-timed... it's almost as if you knew what I was going to do before I did it.  That takes quite a trigger finger. You not only took photos of everyone who's important to me... you captured who those people are.  My panic.  Greg's graciousness.  My mother's goofiness. My wedding is the first time I've ever seen my father cry… I know it was just another Saturday at work for you, but that album is the best wedding present I received.  I'm so grateful I found you. On top of the compliments regarding your work, I just wanted to say that both Greg and I really enjoyed your company.  You have a good spirit about you.
