Here is a little bit about me, Denise Chastain. I sold my first photograph when I was fifteen years old to my music teacher. That same year, my first published photograph appeared in 16 magazine. Four years in high school I studied Photography. I went on to further develop my photography skills at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. After graduation, I pursued my freelance career, shooting an array of diverse assignments. My first big break was photographing the late great Ronnie Dawson, rockabilly hero, in 1996. The story was published in Option Magazine. Soon after, I photographed personalities such as Marc Anthony, Joan Jett, Missy Elliott, Nas, Ozzy Osbourne and former NYC Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. During this time, the late Elyse Weissberg was at first my business consultant and soon after, she became my agent. We had a great friendship and working relationship. With her help and expertise, we branched out into the world of advertising, cultivating AT&T, Chase, North Point Communications, Janssen Products, LP, The United States Postal Service, Ogilvy and Mather NYC, Grey Advertising San Francisco and Foote Cone & Belding as both new and ongoing clients. In 2004, I was approached by NKH Enterprises to be part of their “New York Streets” Magazine Show (Japan’s version of ’60 Minutes’). It was a 20 minute segment about my photography and how I use NYC as a backdrop for my images. They had a hard time finding the right photographer to feature for this segment and it was a great honor to be part of the series. During most of my career, I photographed weddings as well. My client base grew from my connections in the editorial and commercial world. In 2006, I was invited to be a member of the great Wedding Photojournalism Association. My name is Yun Li. I was born in Wuhan, China. I came to the United States in 2008. I am a wife and a mom of two girls living in Long Island, NY. I take a lot of pictures for my own family especially my own kids. At the end of the day, pictures with authentic moments are always the ones that I look over and over again. I like to document their everyday life just as it is. They don’t have to force a smile or look at the camera. They just need to be who they really are and do what they want to do. I especially love documenting their interaction between each other and our connection to them. I want to be able to show them years later what they were like and how much they were loved at that time. As your photographer, I would like to take pictures of you and your family the same way that I take pictures for my family. I don’t only want to be your photographer, but also be your friend. Hello! I’m Kathy and I am a Photographer & Adventurer. Walt Disney said... 'If you can dream it... you can do it...' I try to live by this mantra everyday of my life. As a photographer my career is based upon dreaming and creating. My goal is to create images that can tell a story and give emotion. I want people to view my photography and be able to both see and feel what is going on in that photograph. I'm not afraid to step out of the box or go down a road less travelled for an amazing photo. I'm always trying to outdo myself. Although I photograph a little bit of everything my main focus is weddings & wildlife. Over the past 4 years I have used the money I have made shooting weddings to travel the world and photograph wildlife in it's natural habitat. The purpose of these adventures are to educate people on how they can help save our planet. Two years ago on one of my adventures to Africa I was introduce to David Sheldrick's Wildlife Trust. This organization is helping to rehabilitate baby elephants who were orphaned in the wild because of poaching. I quickly fell in love with their mission and organization and knew I wanted to give back. For all my couples that book a wedding package I adopt a baby elephant in their name. I lost my mom to cancer in 2012. I have always had a bucket list of sorts but her passing inspired me to actually start crossing items off my list. Since that point I've travelled to all 7 continents (twice), 48 countries, and 42 states. I've snorkeled with Orca Whales under the Northern Lights in Norway, I walked amongst thousands of Penguins in Antarctica, I've been face to face with Lions & Elephants, I celebrated Carnivale in Brazil and Holi in India, I've hiked in Patagonia, up volcanoes in Congo, and on the Inca Trail. I've trekked with Gorillas and Tigers. I've won my first award for my wildlife photography and will officially publish my first article this fall. I love the Outdoors- Hiking, Camping, and just breathing the fresh air. I love all things Disney (even after working there for 10 years). I've only read the Harry Potter books once but I think JK Rowling is a genius. I appreciate Star Wars, but will admit that I really just love Ewoks! I love love love animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 fish... and I'm working on chickens. When I grow up... other then a photographer I hope to work in Wildlife Conservation. [Baltimore Wedding Photographer]
Before our start in 2012 Miguel Angel was studying film & cinematography. This attention turned to photography and he hasn't looked back since. This has led to our style being different. More drama but definitely moment based. We take on around 25-35 weddings a year as we don't want to do too many that our children don't get to know us. :-) Family is very important and shooting our kids started out as our passion first. If you like moment driven images with a little bit of drama in portraits feel free & contact us! [Philadelphia Wedding Photographer]
When Tim had his first encounter with a DSLR camera he was so fascinated he couldn’t put it away. He soon understood it was so much more than a toy. Not long after, he decided to make his new passion his profession. During the next few years, he received a great deal of training from top photographers, learning what weddings were all about. During this time his eyes opened up to the real meaning of being a wedding photographer. Tim states, “I wanted to document the tears, laughter, excitement, and love between the couple so that when they look back, they can relive the day. My images will tell a story that words cannot describe. I capture moments that will never come back. I learned how to be a true storyteller.” Since then, he has been working hard to make each and every wedding a sparkling and memorable day for decades to come. As a single man, Tim never thought much about anything related to weddings. His perspective of wedding photography changed entirely as soon as he got married. “I started to see people, hear their stories, feel their wedding jitters.” He wanted to tell the story of the day through his photographs. “I realized what a blessing, challenge, and responsibility it was to be a part of the happiest day of a beautiful couple’s life.” Tim feels happiest when he receives letters from the newlyweds saying that the wedding images he has taken were more than they had expected and that they had already framed and hung some of them around their home. “I take it very personally”, he admits, “I treat every wedding as if it was my own. I want all of them to be perfect!” [Manhattan Wedding Photographer]
I don't like having my picture taken. So, if you feel a bit awkward having your photo taken, I feel your pain. I have been photographing weddings and events for nearly 20 years, and I always aim to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible throughout the process (before, during, and after the wedding day). My vision is influenced by my background in the performing arts (music and theater), and my photography career sprang from that background (photographing live music/band and theatrical performances). After snapping pictures at the weddings of some friends in the late 1990s, I developed a true passion for wedding photography. Now I shoot between 25-30 weddings per year, and my work has been featured in The Knot Magazine as well blogs like Style Me Pretty, Wedding Chicks, Snippet & Ink, Brooklyn Bride, and Rock & Roll Bride. My non-wedding work has been shown in galleries and shows as well as being featured in international art publications. [Manhattan Wedding Photographer]
I remember my dad taking pictures with a Russian Zenith ET which was later passed on to me becoming my first camera. I got into serious photography as early as in 1998. Since then I have been working as a photographer for several press agencies and a major national newspaper in Warsaw, Poland, during which time I gained a lot of experience. After several years of freelancing I am currently mostly committed to wedding and food photography. I am a visual storyteller who not only makes sure that the newlyweds have the memorable images that they always dreamed of but also that the bride and groom feel comfortable and unworried throughout the whole wedding experience. My journey in photography began when I was 17 years of age. My mother showed me how to shoot, develop, and print black and white photographs in her makeshift darkroom set up in our basement. I was completely blown away by the whole process and instantly became infatuated. After high school, I went on to earn my BFA in Photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art. I have over 15 years' worth of experience documenting and preserving memories for my wedding couples. Along the way, I have won many awards, which I could list, but I would rather have you respond to the images I make instead of accolades from the wedding industry. After all, my biggest awards are happy clients! I strive to make meaningful, genuine, and real photographs. That could be an emotional heartfelt cry, or perhaps tears of joy, maybe a tight embracing hug, or a big ‘ole belly laugh, maybe it’s some crazy drunk dancing, or even just a kid picking her nose. I want to tell YOUR story, not my version of your story. So just let the day unfold organically and know that I will be there to capture it all as it happens; imperfectly perfect. Besides, the reality is far more interesting than anything I could construct. This is what it’s all about for me, keeping it real. [New Jersey Wedding Photographer]

I cannot think of any other medium that so greatly encompasses preservation, appreciation, gratitude, and documentation the way that photography does. Photographs have power. They can transport you to another time, they can conjure a once vivid memory after it fades, they can show you what love looks like and at the very least, they can record a moment or an image of something you never want to forget. The magnitude of family photography is what interests me. Whether an engagement, a proposal, a wedding, a new baby, an immediate or extended family, what is happening right now is important and I want to record it for you. I strive to make images that are real, raw, emotive, artistic, classic and genuine and in a few years, or in many years, my hope is that they will be waiting for you when you want to recall the memories that you are making right now. I earned my BFA in photography from the University of Delaware and I have been photographing weddings and families professionally for over 13 years in Philadelphia, New York, and surrounding areas. I've learned that it's not about being in the right place at the right time, it's about being open to everything that is happening around me. The magic is always in the details and in the small moments that could get overlooked. My work has been recognized by Philadelphia Wedding Magazine, The Knot magazine, Lehigh Valley Style magazine, Style Me Pretty, and multiple online wedding resources. I am passionate about photographing your love story for you, for your family and for future generations to appreciate, and in doing it in such a way that the energy and love within your images can be felt for the rest of time. Hi Edward, You are great to work with. You captured really amazing moments throughout the wedding, and one of the best qualities of your work was your ability to use natural light to make everything look romantic and outstandingly beautiful. You always responded promptly to all emails and arrived early to the wedding; overall, very reliable, reasonable, and extremely talented!
My cousin said to me, “Whatever you paid your photographer, double it.” Others told us that they were the best wedding pictures they’d ever seen. We received our full gallery a month after the wedding, which was crazy fast. We couldn’t be happier!!
Hi Edward, Having you as our wedding photographer was one of the best choices we made for our wedding day! You are not only professional, reliable, and prompt in your correspondence, you creates absolutely stunning photographic compositions. You captured the natural beauty of the moments on our special day. You artistically crafted the lighting and contrast to make each photo exude magic, in your unique style. You captured each shot that we desired. You will get the right angle AT ALL COSTS! And this means that he will jump, step, climb- even dash into the street… whatever you needs to do to get the right shot! All my wedding guests were captured in the shots, and this was quite a feat, considering how many people attended! Also, trust in your artistic vision, as you can make the most cluttered of backgrounds into something absolutely spectacular! You are so talented with your craft, and knowledgeable about your equipment and matches the photographic environment with the required lens and lighting. We were given quite a few preview photos a day or two after the wedding, and the rest of the shots came in a few weeks later. Overall, we were beyond satisfied to have you to photograph our wedding!

It was so relaxing to have you -- not once did we have to worry about the pictures, because we knew you would do a great job and think of all kinds of motifs! You really did everything to get the very best pictures out of the situation, and it showed. Thanks for all the running you did along the pier to catch us in the boat, and your acrobatic shooting onboard! Honestly, we couldn't have wished for a nicer, more professional, gifted photographer. Thank you so very much, and all the best in the future!
Hi Ed, From start to finish, our experience with you for our wedding photography was incredibly pleasant and easy! You are so great to work; you have great professionalism and skills. We are so pleased we chose you as the photographer for our big day–we’ve heard nothing but rave reviews of our photos since. You captured our magical weekend beautifully and our only regret is that we didn’t hire you for our rehearsal dinner as well! We want to thank you for capturing our wedding day and night so beautifully and allowing us to relive it over & over again through photos!
Thank you so very much for taking such beautiful photos on our wedding day! From the first phone call we made, to the day of our wedding, and months after, you have been such a pleasure to work with. Based on your portfolio and the questions you asked us, we were confident that you would truly capture the essence of our day, but you brought even more to the table with your very calm presence and very artistic eye and adventurous techniques - we could barely believe our eyes when you headed into the rocky water with two cameras strapped around your neck to photograph our picnic!! Those pictures in particular are truly phenomenal, and we are so grateful that you ventured into the ocean to capture our special moment! It was really fun spending the day with you...Thank you for not only taking lovely photographs but for also being just wonderful to share such a personal day with. Thank you also for the framed picnic photo! It's in our living room and we love it! Thank you so much for providing us with such lovely photos to remember our wedding with! All the best to you!
Hi Ed, Choosing you as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The level of dedication and precision you exhibits when taking pictures is unparalleled. During our engagement shoot, you were upbeat and excited the whole day, even when we became tired (it's a long day!). You knew the best places to take pictures and exactly how to catch the light to make each shot perfect. As we were walking through Central Park, you would stop us randomly because you were ALWAYS looking for a great picture. You brings a lot of joy to your work, which is inspiring. Leading up to the wedding, You were incredibly professional and always made yourself available, whether for a venue walk-through or just a call to figure out details. We had two days of wedding events and you was so excited to be part of both - you was literally everywhere taking pictures and documenting our wedding weekend, but without us even noticing you being there. You were also full of great ideas for where to stand to get the best view of our venues. You also gives a lot - you doesn't care how long the day takes, you are there the entire time. Our wedding day was incredibly long, but you was happy and energetic all day long - you made our families smile and worked to get the best out of each of our family members. And when we received the pictures, we were blown away. They are all so incredibly beautiful. You really captured the best moments of our day without us looking posed. You took so many great shots, it's hard to choose which ones we want to include in our album. We are so grateful for your amazing services and will highly recommend you for any event. Your energy and sheer passion for your work was evident throughout our wedding. Thank you, Edward!!
Hi Edward, I can't say enough about you. you are so passionate and, frankly, just incredibly talented. Every moment of my big day was captured beautifully. Not only did you do wonders in my dark wedding venue, but has an uncanny ability to capture every precious moment in breathtaking ways. You are incredibly easy to work with, and boy does you deliver! From your promptness and flexibility to your work ethic and incredible ability to capture every moment, I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for BEAUTIFUL photo's from their wedding day. As a woman, it is hard to find someone who's photo's will flatter. I love every one, and I mean every single one, from you!
You and your entire crew were so phenomenal yesterday. Thank you so much for all your help and being so dedicated and helpful and cheerful and energetic. When the weather opened up out of nowhere, it was a shock and I didn't see how the day was going to turn around. But you guys made it so nice and put so much effort into getting us the shots we were hoping for despite the curveball. I just wanted to extend a big thank you and let you know how much we appreciated it.
