Hi, I'm Ronnie, born and grown up in Hong Kong, a tiny spot on our planet where 'East meets West'~ I studied History back in my University time, but besides my major study, I joined a documentary filmmaking course taught by a local veteran producer. That was when I started to discover my interest in videography and photography. Once graduated in 2008, I saved most of my salary from my first job, and bought my first ever camera. I became more addicted to photography, and especially photojournalism, because it has the magic to freeze a moment and tell a great story. Thanks to another experienced teacher, I was able to learn from him more advanced photographic technique and philosophy, and gradually I have engaged myself with wedding photography. Since then, I was lucky enough to cover weddings not only in Hong Kong, but also in Germany, Australia and China, with couples from various countries including France, Netherlands, Canada, South Korea and more. It's not an easy ride for sure, but I am glad that I have came through all these years and my love of wedding photojournalism simply grows with time! Besides photography, I'm a travelholic, although there are so many wonderful places yet for me to discover. Just like wedding photojournalism, I will never get bored of it! Zoe was once a full time designer and interested in pinhole photography. She thinks that camera is only a tool but the soul of the photo is the concept and interaction. Her photography style is based on the above belief. The only way to capture the emotion from client is to communicate and interact with them. A normal photo can then be a story and interact with the audience. Believes photography is compromised by artistic sense and light and presented by heart. Motto from Photographer Diane Arbus: "I am a photographer not a female photographer". inHim Photography established by Zoe and her partners. we have common religious and photography concept esp in pinhole photography which is very unique. We understand that innovation is much more important than any technique. [Hong Kong Wedding Photographer]

I fell in love with the moments I saw through my lens…this is the reason that makes me become a visual storyteller. Back to the very first step, my shooting journey has begun with techniques and shooting tips like everyone who loves taking photos. Practices…trainings…lessons…are my daily life since I was a student of architecture and design. My shooting passion also drove me to live and learn in London which gives me opportunities to explore the perspective of my lens. Step by step throughout the journey in London, I got a chance to work with the leading professional photographer of wedding photojournalist of the UK. My chance also wide opened for the fashion shoot. It’s come with opportunities which let me explore more on the photography road map to work with leading magazines and do advertising photoshoot for the famous brands in various industries. During the time, I also had chances to do portrait photography for individuals, couples, families, friends. I’ve learned a lot more about how to capture the very touchy-feely moments from portrait shooting. I am still learning from every shot that I take to continue my visual storytelling journey. For me, all chances were not just a chance, they were significant experiences that have made me believe that a photographer is an engaged storyteller who has a trained, creative, and talented eye to see a photographic opportunity and make a decision for the moment. With the strong feeling and belief that every moment is precious and perfect in itself, I wish I will put myself more engaged in demonstrating the moments like creating genuine art…to tell the story from time to time Today, it’s more than 10 years of shooting experience, there is ONE THING that I’ve found. This ONE THING has never changed, and this ONE THING makes me believe in what I do and make me be who I am. This ONE THING is THE TRUE MOMENT. It is real. It happens only once. It stays forever. Therefore, for me, a perfect photo is a capture of the TRUE MOMENT which will keep and tell the story. TRUE MOMENT is my inspiration for shooting every single photo. It’s not just a shooting style…it’s beyond a signature…it is my honest to capture the once in a lifetime moment that I fell in love since the beginning and I will continue my journey as a man who loves capturing the moments. I love my job. I love being able to warp time at a click of my finger. I love how these captured moments encapsulate the intangibles like love and memories. Now looking back in retrospection, I’d still proudly say that I’ve never regretted this career switch; from the engineering industry to wedding photography. My love for photography keeps me going but nothing beats seeing my clients’ faces light up after having seen the photos or receiving satisfied reviews. It is a privilege to be included in these milestones and I’ll continue to document and preserve these memories in the way I know best. In our eyes, we see the difference! After investing in photography, I found that I like to record a variety of stories with my camera. After walking through many countries, I discovered that talent is the most beautiful thing. I have been fascinated by the so-called photographer’s eye and the photographer’s composition rules. I found out that I didn’t have such a foul, I wanted to shoot more different pictures. I like to take care of the process of preparation, and what I can do with my imagination. All the happiness and stories of the day are the feelings that cannot be measured by value for a lifetime. The moving moment of the wedding is a fleeting moment that cannot be repeated. It is only once in a lifetime. We try our best to keep all the memories of the day for each couple. Maybe it is the shy expression of the bride, the look of the groom, the parents’ reluctance. Tears, happy smiles, these pictures are the most beautiful memories. I like to record happy times and write a picture that the newcomers have not noticed on the day so that you can be deeply touched when you relive the photos for many years. Wedding photography is not just a record, but the camera leaves the temperature of the day, presenting the story of your day. I hope that I will have the opportunity to be a friend who records your story, record the moment of change, and capture the picture of your life once. I am married, Jimmy Lee. The first contact with photography was self-study on the Internet. It was around 2009. The first wedding photography was in 2011. My good friend got married and invited me to help them shoot the wedding. Then I started my wedding photography journey. I have taken more than 500 shots in my career so far. I hope that the photos I have taken will feel warm. Even after many years, I will still be able to return to the pictures I used to see. In Taiwan, I’m actually not a very famous photographer, and I haven’t held any exhibitions publicly, but I continue to work hard, and one day I can shine! It is worth mentioning that my younger brother is a cyr-wheel / hatter artist "Yang Shihao". His success has made me more awakened, no matter how big the dream is, just do it! Thank you so much Ronnie for photographing our wedding registration in October. We are absolutely delighted with the results! You are very professional and took a lot of candid photos of us. This is exactly what we are looking for, a photographer who can capture the real moment and emotion of the day for us. You certainly has a knack for capturing natural and fun memories and producing very high quality images that we will cherish for the rest of our lives . We highly recommend you to others looking for a professional and fun photographer!
Dear Ronnie, we just finished reading all the photos. They are awesome and bring back all the memories. To be honest, I have had many hiccups organizing this wedding but I am so blessed having to know you. The pictures are truly beautiful, I am out of words showing my thankfulness other than these two words. Thank you once again Ronnie. The photo film is amazing too.
Dear Jamie, we wanted to say thank you for your professionalism and your talent on our wedding day. Our wedding pictures are all we could hope for and much more. Our families and friends made great comments about the spontaneous, unposed style of your pictures. Even if our wedding was the center of the attention, all of our guests had some great portraits done by you. Before the big day, you reviewed the locations and asked us the right questions. On the day, you have been quite invisible, very flexible, accommodating and professional. We will definitely recommend you to any friends looking for a photographer and will use your services in the future for other family events! Again, thanks a lot for your work!.
Dear Tanarak, A heartfelt thanks for being our photographer on our wedding day. We enjoy it a lot every single time going through the photo album. Not only have you captured all precious moments over our wedding day so genuinely and beautifully, your professional and kind attitude is just lovely to be with. What an impeccable team you have! It has definitely been a true pleasure – thanks again, Tanarak! - Ariel & Jason-
Ronnie, thank you for being our photographer and documenting our wedding in Hong Kong. We are thankful for the communication and the way you try to understand our wants in the consultation process. The locations you scouted for us were aptly chosen and fit well with our story and background. The candid moments you captured in our homes, the banquet hall, and on the streets of Hong Kong gave us much bragging rights and most of all, the perfect way to cherish a special day. We are also thankful for the extra effort you took in creating the custom-made memory drive and photo box. Thank you very much.
Love all the captures, and people’s reactions and emotions. Priceless! Thank you so much Ronnie for being a huge part in our multiple wedding events! We are so thankful that we have found you and guess what, it's only the beginning. Many more events we love to have your help in documenting!! Through your lens, we were able to see what we didn't on those days and get to relive in those moments again.
Huge hugs and thanks Tanarak and your team for capturing all the sweet and unforgettable moments of our wedding on Christmas Eve in 2014. The pictures and videos are even more perfect than we ever expected. Happy tears still roll down our cheeks when we look at them. Thanks for being part of it and making our wedding complete.
